Delicious Fat Breakfast Burrito! What a hit! Burritos stuffed with egg, bacon, ham, and cheese. These burritos were a hit for my brunch boat cruise w girlfriends. Not knowing how big the burritos would be, I over purchased, as I ended up cutting these burritos into halves or thirds. Everyone loved them! *Although Primo opens at seven, I found that they are not ready to prepare, freshly made orders until 8:00AM. Because I was ordering five burritos, I prepaid at 7:45 and then came back to pick up my order at 8:15. I will definitely come back and try out more of their menu.

This Mexican market is one of my favorite spots in Orange County because of the tacos. The taco selection is massive and they are so cheap for the quality. On Tuesdays and Fridays the tacos are 69 cents a piece, which is awesome. The service is normal for a small market and the place is small, but you can tell everything is super authentic. I cannot stress how much I love coming here and how much it reminds me of tacos from Mexico. The guac is also superb.

This hole in the wall market is San Clemente's little secret for burritos and tacos that will blow your mind. On Tues/Fridays they have specials where burritos are $9.99. Tacos are a steal. They have home made guacamole that you can buy , fresh ceviche, birrias, carne asada, carnitas, tri-tip, you name it, they have it. What surprised me is that they even have Julian pies here ! So , you dont have to drive all the way down to Julian, you can just grab the pies here and enjoy! I purchased one tonight, couldn't resist. I also purchased their carne asada burrito, with rice, beans, cilantro, onions, cabbage all wrapped in a flower tortilla and i was in heaven! $11.99 you could cut in half and eat for 2 meals. Its a local favorite among surfers, non-surfers, and every walk of life in San Clemente. Parking can be tricky so be mindful of the 20min parking spots. I love their mexican soft drinks and its just pure bliss! 10/10!!

Visiting my brother in San Clemente and he told me about this spot I have to try. Boy am I Lucky to have found out about Primo Foods! I went today during a taco Tuesday. The line, out the door. The price per taco, 69 cents. The experience, epic. The food, some of the best out there. Primo foods, is a spot all about great prices and even better food. I'd recommend you try everything and then figure out what your go to order will be when you undoubtedly come back for more

69 cent tacos of tuesdays and fridays, 99 cent tacos every other day. Hella fire samples, ceviche-fire, elote-fire, brisket-fire. Tacos hella fire, burritos hella fire. Went on a Friday so the line was hella long (duh) and when you leave you just see hella people at the park eating their tacos. It is a vibe. Love you primos

It's been over a year since I've been back to Primo (I used to work a full time job and by the time it was Tuesday or Friday Tacos, I wouldn't be able to make it in time) But now, things has changed, I now work near by and get off early and finally get that sweet deal of .69 cents per tacos. Yes, you read that correctly. Your eyes are NOT playing games with you, sorry Loki. This is real. As you can see per the picture I've taken, a very sweet deal and especially in this economy. They didn't have Al pastor when I got there at 10:50AM, I know it's early in the day but no lines which is a plus, sometimes if you come later in the day, that line goes out the door. Ordered 20 tacos, 10 carne asada and 10 birria tacos, everything on it and a bag of fried pork skin total came around $21. $14 for the tacos and $7 for the bag of pork skin. Not too shabby, they do ask if you want a bag, its 10 cents so be aware, I had to get one since I got a lot of tacos but definitely bringing my own bags next time. Will I come back? Absolutely freaking yes! They have desserts too and even have Juliene pie too! These tacos looks small but let me tell you something, the lady that were making the tacos, she PACKED those tacos up! Best to say, one of the best tacos around San Clemente if you don't want to drive all the way to Santa Ana or San Diego. (They do have other locations in SD)

Thanks to reviews here I gave this place a chance. After seeing a line I was about to turn around until I read the review that explained that taco Tuesdays and Fridays are $.69 tacos all day. Well worth the wait. Pollo, carne asada, el pastor, carnitas on two soft mini corn tortillas with limon cilantro and onions. We ordered 23 for 3 of us and some aguas frescas. The place is a bodega, no tables, so as you walk in they have a it look like a liquor store then a nice little sample bar as you wait in line to try a variety of ceviche then you pass an impressive assortment of beverages and snacks then at the back is where the magic is. A huge counter for tacos and smoked meats. There are locations in San Clemente a short walk across the bridge from Calafia State Campground and locations in Vista and Carlsbad. This place is

May 9th, 2025 I have had their tacos a few times now and have had no issues, but today as I took my FIRST bite, I felt something off. Turns out I had a piece of PLASTIC in my taco. Inspect your food people!

I pumped the tire up and I could hear the leak, but it appeared I could get it to Holley's Tire across town. (stick with me, this is actually a review of SC Ranch Mkt, also see my review of Holley's Tire!). Holley needed the car for about an hour, so I decided to find some place to fill my belly with some good grub within walking distance. Still on my journey to find the best breakfast burrito in the San Clemente metropolitan Tri-State area, I searched Yelp for something nearby. SC Ranch Market came up and I headed out as it was a couple minute walk. The restaurant and bakery are attached to the SC Ranch Market but I am not sure if it is the same name or different. My bad for not figuring that out. Upon entering, I saw the menus hanging above the counter and there were a huge amount of choices of tasty Mexican fare. I concentrated on the breakfast burrito section to see what I wanted. While there were some interesting choices, I went with the basic breakfast burrito with sausage. The BB is eggs, cheese, beans. After ordering and paying, I headed to a table to await my tasty breakfast treat. There are several tables near the door. The tables were all dirty, so I tried to choose the least dirty one and then got some napkins to wipe off the remnants of other people's breakfasts or dinners. Kinda yucky. Finally, I was called to pick up my burrito. My extra large breakfast burrito. Dang it was heavy. I lugged the log o' burrito to my semi-clean table and the table was able to handle the heft of this brute. I was nervous. A cool thing is that they have a nice salsa bar with some great choices and other condiments. I got a couple of tubs of salsa to try them out. Spoiler alert, they were both great salsas. Got that out of the way. The burrito was large, it was hot and it was one of the best breakfast burritos in the local San Clemente area. Eggs perfectly scrambled and cooked. Tasty, tasty beans. Soft, warm, grilled (always a fav of mine) tortilla. Melty, gooey cheese to bind it all together. A five star breakfast burrito. You will not be disappointed if you get one and I highly recommend that you should. After only eating half, I was actually pretty full. That did not stop me from stuffing the rest of the tube of deliciousness down my throat. I could not stop eating it. Go to SC Ranch Market and order a breakfast burrito. It is in my top 5 in the San Clemente area. You will not be mad at me for referring you to go. Bring a moist towelette to wipe off the table and you are good. Just go. Take it out if you don't like the tables. Try all of the salsas. Oh wait, I forgot one amazing fact. IT WAS $8.99! Less than 9 bucks for a massive, delicious, breakfast burrito. Where can you find that? Where? Tell me where! Just go. Stop what you are doing and go. Please go. I'll even throw in a moist towelette... Go! Eat Well!! Have Fun!!!

The food came out piping hot, and you can truly taste that everything is made from scratch. I ordered the Three Item Combo and went with Double Brisket and Pulled Pork. For our sides, we got BBQ Baked Beans, which had a sweet and savory balance, and the Mac and Cheese - this was Soo good and you could tell there was a variety of cheeses used, making it incredibly rich and flavorful. The Only Downside is the portion size of the Mac and Cheese - it was very small (honestly just a few bites) which was a bummer because it was my fav! Overall, great tasting BBQ, prob best in OC.

It makes things significantly easier, and explains what's what. I went for the jalapeño sausage and spicy cucumbers. He got three hefty pieces of brisket (for $20). The sausage doesn't mess around. It's got a little kick to it in a good way. The spicy cucumbers were reminiscent of the classic vinegar cukes I grew up on, with a little extra umph (they aren't as spicy as the sausage). His brisket was so soft you didn't even need a knife. It was incredible. The table has mustard and BBQ sauce. The mustard doesn't have the typical bite to it which may be welcoming to those wary. The BBQ sauce felt more tomato heavy but was still good in it's own way. *Drinks are separate and purchased/served around the corner at the bar regardless if they're alcoholic or not. I had to get the house michelada. Their own blend of spices gave it an almost Enchilada flavoring that made sipping the drink lovely. While in line, people kept ordering the Banh Mi so that may be my next try when I return. The only qualm I guess I'd have is that ordering everything Ala carte can really add up so keep that in mind and plan wisely. Oh! It gets busy here on weekends too. I guess we got lucky on a Wednesday afternoon with a slow pace.
