This is the Trader Joe's that I come to most frequently, The parking lot can be dangerous and way too crowded at times, but I have always found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. Their crew always seem incredibly cheerful and upbeat. And I can always ask someone to check for greener bananas in the back storeroom. I know they have to deal with a high volume of customers daily, and I appreciate that the floor is always well stocked with all of my favorite Trader Joe's staples. They do get new items every now and then, but I don't think that they are one that gets them first necessarily, which is fine by me as long as they do get the good items eventually! The size is pretty typical, not too big and not too small. Their wine selection seems a bit smaller than other TJ's I've been to, but they still have beer singles which makes me happy. The inside is decorated like all other TJ's with fun kitschy drawings. And the layout is very logical. read more

I normally enjoy shopping at this store because many employees are nice and friendly!! However I recently had the most unpleasant experience at this location with one of the managers... his name was Aidan or Adrian? Like many customers I like to try the new items but we all know these items typically sell out quick! One of the employees noticed I was walking around a bit lost and told me she was on her lunch but the manager in the front can help. There was an older couple waiting in line. After a minute or so, I asked if they were being helped and the man said they had a question about returning but not sure if the manager heard. I tried to get the manager's attention but he was busy watching something on his phone. After a few excuse me's he looked up and looked annoyed like we interrupted him??? I said the other customer was waiting for help and he said the man should speak up loudly and rudely told him to leave the item on the ledge? as if it was the obvious area for returns. The managers should be attentive to customers instead of being condescending. After some back and forth, he said someone else would help since I was being difficult... I do want to acknowledge the tall asian manager with long hair. I sadly did not get his name but he was more than willing to assist. read more

Dropped by the other day and it was a quick and easy experience. Parking was available on the street and also available in the rather tight private lot. Carts are available too. The store was tidy and all the cashier were open with cashiers wearing Trader Joe's attire along with a name tag. Some cashiers opted to wear a mask and disposable gloves. I shopped with a friend at the TJs in Cupertino, CA looking for the new small cooler totes. They are so cute and are perfect as lunch bags. Since Hawaii does not have a TJ store I send them to family. First time at the Cupertino store and was delighted to see the bags for sale. Limit was purchase of 1 bag per color . There was a staff member monitoring the supply. I put one of each color on my basket. About to walk away to check out and he approached me. Did you buy bags already. I saw you walk in with someone, your partner? I responded, I did walk in with someone, but am I not able to buy the bags separately? You are assuming our relationship. He backed down and was allowed to purchase the bags. There definitely could have been a different manner to approach me. I am pissed that I followed the rules stated to purchase one bag per color. Moreover, assuming my relationship with the person I walked with into the store. Having the bag police is beneath TJs; the person was rude. What I should have done was taken my basket to the customer service deck and say I won't be purchasing anything today since I was being policed. read more

I went to Trader Joe's with my sister & they just happen to have the small stripe bags everyone has been trying to get. I chose the limit one in each color and a few groceries & I go to S. Taylor's line Till 3. Not happy with the way she treated me especially me being a much older woman than her, I felt she should show me respect. She has the nerve to not even say hello but ask me was this my second time going through her line to purchase bags. Excuse me little girl? You do not have the right to question me like I'm your child. I felt that was very rude & who cares I am sure hundreds of people do this so for her to talk to me like that when I had only been through her line once I felt like she was discriminating against me. I love Trader Joe's & I feel it's pretty diverse in the staff they have but this location did not give me that vibe. Will not visit this location again & if I did not want to get these bags I would have had to school the youngster on how to talk to an adult with respect. read more

Overall, I had a good experience at this Trader Joe's. I showed up 5 min before closing to find some items and was able to be in and out before 9PM. The store was clean and well lit. I was able to quickly flag down a worker to get help locating the snack I was looking for. Parking was easy since it's in a shared shopping center. read more

If you can avoid the rush hour, this location is the best. The size of the store is small compared to other locations but it has everything. I go to Trader Joe's for unique food items they have and for excellent selection and prices on cheeses and more. Another thing I should mention about their face wash with tea tree oil. read more

It is always hard to pass a Trader Joes. It's just too easy to pop in for a few of my favorites. This particular location is totally convenient, the parking lot wasn't too busy even at 5:30 PM on Friday. the store was neat and clean as I expected. Earlier in the day I had. just stocked up on dinner fixings so I was wandering in for those little snacks that fill in the corners. I've posted a photo of each item that I picked up along with a price. The pound plus chocolate bar was a bit of a surprise I don't think I've seen it recently, and I was totally blown away by the price for a pound of chocolate so I had to grab a few. The jar of olives is one of my faves. I like the extra large size since it makes it easy to pop just one for totally mouth filling flavor. the little packages of olives I've never tried before and they look very interesting. I eat so much popcorn that I usually try to buy it from Costco but for some reason Costco hasn't been stocking their usual gallon of popcorn kernels, Trader Joe's to the rescue.. For strange reasons, the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds are truly easy to find at Trader Joe's, but not so easy at the other supermarkets. Those two items alone would keep me coming back to Trader Joe's over and over. I tried to spot some staff in the aisles but they were clustered by the checkout. I've frequented this TJ for over 10+ years. In general it's been great. Until today 7/4/2025. The cashier who was a bearded gentleman would scan my item and push the items through the table. I have no problem packing/putting the items into the bags I brought. After he finished scanning, he didn't bother to help me nor did he put my bagged contents into the cart. He just walked away while I finished up with bagging. Another cashier (balded gentleman) wasn't even busy behind just stood there and did not even offer to help. My wife was very dumbfounded by the staffs today. I will never go to these two cashiers if I visit this store next time. read more

Love this Trader Joe's. I know exactly where everything is & can grab and go within minutes. While it is on the smaller side, it makes it easy for a quick trip for the bare essentials when in a pinch. I especially appreciate the rotating coloring sheets that my twins are endlessly happy with throughout the year. The cashiers are friendly and strike a short conversation which is especially helpful on the lonesome days I am by myself prepping for the week, reading & studying. The downside- the parking lot. It is the worst. Even tho the risk of a minor fender bender is high is the tight corners, I continue to drop by on a reg basis. read more

I've been to this particular Trader Joe's, a handful of times, and I like the items they have along with a handful of organic things, but I wish you could buy fruits and vegetables that were organic individually instead of 5 pound bags. Lol not everything is that much in the packaging but I just need a couple apples not a whole bag! Lol, other than that the service was great and besides the parking lot and it structure everything else about the service and their options for people with food allergies was very helpful. Somehow I managed to drop a box of blueberries in the store right after checking out. To my chagrin they rolled all over the floor - but the cashier told me not to worry about it, and then another employee came over to me with a fresh pack of blueberries in hand, which was super kind and I did not expect. Been coming here for years. Denise has been super cool, and I've known her since I started off my career in a full service salon. Definitely always liked seeing her. This location is also close to home which is also amazing. The parking really sucks, so I've been coming later in the evening so that's worked out. I went in tonight to grab a few things for food, since I got off work late. I just want to shop with anonymity. However, during check out I was super embarrassed. Being anonymous wasn't in the cards for me tonight. Typical me. This was of course bound to happen to me, and it's kind of almost expected... comical in a way. It has nothing to do with Denise. She's amazing as always. However, it did have to do with someone from the check out lane named R. Let's just say we're all adults here. Let's not exacerbate a situation if it wasn't a big deal to begin with. Or even tend to embarrass someone by laughing at them. It didn't need to go there. I won't be returning to this particular location, because I'm way to embarrassed to come here. I didn't need to be laughed/made fun of by R. during checkout. Not going to put R.'s whole name out there, because I don't believe in embarrassing him out in public like he did me. Even after your experience in the store and expressing it to the manager, you continued to wait for me in the parking lot and engaged in psychopath behavior. As I back out of my parking spot, you sneak up behind me and drive around to get in front of me. As we both pursue towards the exit, you decide to stay and make me wait. I get it , even though another cashiers reached out to you to ring you out, you and you alone decided to model entitlement towards Owen when he made an observation on my bad orange and wanted me to exchange it for a good one. Since you had to wait, you decided to keep me waiting at the exit parking lot path towards Bollinger Rd . When you noticed other vehicles were trying to exit too, you decided to get out of your car and flip the middle finger at me, then you pursued slowly into Bollinger Road and place my 4 year old child and me in danger by slamming on your brake. I did think of reporting you to the authorities and taking a picture of your license plate, but then I remembered what Owen said when I voiced my opinion. He was not taking any sides, and he saw that both of us were acting inappropriately towards each other. This act of empathy and love towards others is the reminder we all need in this fast-paced world . I apologize if having to change my bad orange inconvenience you into getting on time to yoga class, the gym, your movie night, or wherever you were in such a rush to get to. A word of advice : the next time you can not wait, just pay attention around you, and someone else would have been more than happy to ring you up. Perfect Trader's with variety of food and items. Very clean taking care of the customers and sporting a great smile all of the associates. Love going there when in the area to grab my Spanish salami or other European goodies like some type of chocolates, croissants and those olives that come in plastic sachets and are super handy for picnics and hikes (healthy Mediterranean snack!). I also like that retro painted signage clearly indicating that you are in Cupertino, in case you are lost and find a lack of geographical borders, very usual in Silicon Valley! read more

Admittedly sometimes one might be out of the items that I am craving for but usually the next nearest place has that item. I may be TJ's number one fan, but I have the curse of always living close to one of the smaller stores with not-great inventory. My kids basically live off their fresh chicken nuggets and edamame but they are frequently out of stock. Because the parking lot is usually full or hard to get into, I usually park on the street and walk a little further to avoid the crowded parking lot. Be very aware of expiration dates and produce quality before you purchase. Thank goodness they make it easy to return food that's spoiled before the expiration date. You bring your return items to the customer service counter at the front and then go shop, and when you're ready to check out, the store manager will scan your return items and deduct the cost from your new bill. The TJ's in Sunnyvale and Los Gatos are bigger with better selections, but I still come here often because it's the closest on to me and the workers here are friendly and always give my kids stickers and lollipops for finding the hidden stuff unicorn, and they gave us a beautiful orchid potted flower once too. You can find me stocking up on my favorite staples - honey goat cheese, garlic naan, pork belly, boba coffee ice cream, edamame, chicken nuggets, masala burgers, orange chicken, coconut Greek yogurt, butter chicken, argan oil, hair mask, anything ube, almond butter granola, tri-colored radiatore pasta, creamy tomato basil pasta sauce, dill pickle seasoning, TJ Diamond Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, ok you get the idea - I can't help but love TJ's! Sometimes, this TJ's does happen to carry a selection of the TJ Reserve wines - Diamond Reserve ($19.99), Platinum Reserve ($14.99), Grand Reserve ($12.99), Reserve ($9.99), and Petite Reserve ($7.99). These wines come from private label wineries usually local to the Napa Valley and surrounding areas that are sold under the TJ label at a greatly reduced cost. These are also much better than their Two Buck Chucks (now $3.99). I've hosted blind wine tastings and most people enjoyed the TJ wines better than some higher end wines. It's also fun to try to puzzle out which wine or winery the TJ wine is actually from! Serve some up and surprise your guests at your next soirée! read more

My go-to place to buy cured meats, cheeses, dried fruits, fresh fruits and nuts for my charcuterie boards. Other repeat signature items like their Habanero hot sauce which is always needed in our household, healthy snacks, hummus, dips, chips, cauliflower rice, Carrot juice, Orange juice and not to mention their seasonal salad kits are worth it. One of the better TJ stores I've experienced and the best I've encountered in the area. They did exceptionally well with covid protocols and the staff is always friendly and helpful. During covid they had pop up shade structures and clear marking for social distancing. The check out process was one of the tightest I experienced and they were very diligent with sanitizers. The greeter at the front managed the capacity and offered up sanitizer as patrons entered. In addition the sanitation was performed after every checkout. At first I thought this was a little over the top. I quickly came to appreciate this as I come here every two weeks with my elderly mother. It was reassuring to know that this was as good as it gets for taking the desired precautions for her well being. The store even went to having senior hours that we took advantage of. It was so nice and I really feel like the staff went above and beyond to care for the older folks while they were shopping. My mother has gone from multiple store shopping to having this be her primary store that meets mid her needs. The layout is consistent with most of the other TJ stores and it's easy enough to navigate. They tend to shuffle things around from time to time but if I can't find it the stars is awesome in directing us to where to find the little nuggets that make my mother happy. One of the elite French makers, and French style has more cocoa butter for a smoother and less chalky texture. Amazing taste for such high cacao content. TJ's macadamias from australia....cheaper price ($1/ounce) and still good quality, which is hard to find as macs are usually pretty expensive. Trader Joe's has basically everything you need just in smaller quantities compared to other grocery stores. No name brands, everything is Trader Joe's. Well not everything but most items. They have some beer and other things you may recognize. If you are looking for your favorite brand of cereal for instance you won't find it but you will find the Trader Joe version of it. Prices are reasonable especially for most of the produce. A lot of organic options if that is important to you. What's most surprising is the quality of their brand is really good. They have a great balsamic vinaigrette just as a random example. The first time you go here it may be a bit strange if you are used to shopping at Safeway for example. You don't get 20 different brands and sizes of ketchup, just maybe 2 or 3 options. The employees are friendly. They do get busy at times but they try to keep the lines short by opening a lot of registers. I will give them 4 stars for the lack of brands and options in availability but that is their thing I suppose. What they do have is good quality at a reasonable price. Also, no beer cooler, none of the beer is refrigerated. Nobody likes warm beer, well maybe some Europeans may but I want to buy a cold beer. If they had cold beer I might be able to bump them to 5 stars. read more

They've taken precautions, letting only about 25 people in at all times, hand sanitizer is provided when you walk in and out, also sanitizing wipes for carts .
