This is my 'home' store for Trader Joe's locally. It's my favorite one, probably cause I've grown to know the crew. We visit weekly and it's one of our main stop and shops. Everyone is kind and helpful. We appreciate the prices and quality. Some products we don't always enjoy but more often than not we do. More pics another time. Classic TJs space.

    Amazing ribeye I cooked

I had a gift card to TJ's and I decided to use it for my Birthday. I went in and was looking for an amazing steak! All the people who worked there were friendly, and made eye contact, and the store is SO clean. Also the people shopping are happy! That is a bonus indeed. I digress....the meat selection is extraordinary. I picked out a nice bone in package of chicken thighs and a lovely ribeye. The cashier was super friendly and I left the store smiling. The taste of the steak was the deal breaker for me. SO good and full of flavor. I will never buy a steak from a "regular" grocery store. I am sold on Trader Joes!

Trader Joe's on north Campbell east side south of the river has been here for many years . ( previously older shopping area on the River including a casa Molina in 70's ) . From the fearless flyers , take home shopping bags 99c , frozen foods, produce , wine , seasonal offerings , and fun floral you know what to expect ! ( what did I forget ?) Good customer service from my experience . This site on busy Campbell north of the u of az agricultural farm can be challenging ingress and egress . Try using the street to the south and circle around to the light south of the farm if easier? ( u need a map?) Many fall seasonal items going on including the fun dia de Los muertos ceramic Calaveras with succulents 4.99/7.99$.

I'm here once a week or so for the bottled water, vegetables, milk, etc. The service is pretty quick. This week they have the holiday items for sale like cutting boards, candles, lip balm sets, turkeys, ham. It was very busy this evening.

    Always a line Ugh

There are customers line up at the self check-out, yet not a normal check out open. I ask a worker who is chatting with another worker if they are going to open a check-out, she looks at me as if I'm bothering her and says nope then goes back to chatting. Again, WTF? I've got a cart full and already put in my 8 hours for the day. Now they want me to do their job as well. Self checkouts weren't made for that. Originally they were made for the guy who has 2 items and didn't want to wait in the normal checkout. He could get out quickly. Now after 7 they want everyone to use them. Maybe if I got a discount, I would be more willing to self checkout but I'm paying full price. Like I said, I already put in 8 hours at my job, my job is hard physical work. I don't feel like doing their job too. What do you think? Are you ok working for Fry's for free after you worked all day? No other place makes you work when you go there, no restaurant makes you cook your own food, no doctors office make you do your own physical, no bar makes you pour your own beer or make your own drink. What does Fry's think they can make you work for free. I hope someone from corporate reads this and does what's right go back to the way they did it for years and years. Or I'll be driving a little farther to get the customer service that Fry's lacks. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

They still have the pizza take out bar with a variety of toppings. They have some items or brands you won't find in other places but may not have brands you get elsewhere. It's nice to discover some new things you haven't tried before. The bakery has some tempting things to look at. The store is large with wide enough aisles so you can browse easily. Prices are a little higher than other places but some things may be worth it. The parking is limited only because of all the other businesses in the area. I'll go back and look around again. They also have ready made sushi, which is what I ended up getting. They have a little something for everyone ranging from your typical American food like pizza, pasta, chicken fingers and salads to Mexican, Indian and Asian food. The sushi I got was really tasty. The spring rolls I got were okay but the dipping sauce is not what I expected which was a tangy sauce. Usually for spring rolls it's a peanut sauce. For sushi they have low sodium soy sauce available which is a plus. There is very limited seating at the store to sit down and eat so most likely you'll have to bring your food home. All in all, it's not bad. Fairly cheap, and a decent selection!
