Great food and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend. Attire is not that dressy.

The server for our large party was wonderful. However, after asking the owner if we could bring cake and ice cream for a surprise party and being told yes, she then proceeded to refuse to let us keep our ice cream, specially made for my mother, in their freezer because They owned an ice cream ship and had "an exclusive deal". She only said this AFTER asking where the ice cream was from. She did however offer to keep it in their fridge. We had transported the ice cream for over two hours in a car. It was obvious it wouldn't last. She did not care. This was my gift to my mom. It's not as if we were even in sight of the other customers or handing out samples and playing everyone to purchase someone else's ice cream. I am disappointed in the cold (no pun intended) spirit that she put forth. I won't be going back. Ever. Customer service is everything to keeping a customer. read more

I was excited for dinner because we had family from all over the western US in town for a surprise 70th birthday. Very Special! The food was pretty good! Our server, Sandy was sweet and prompt... never missed a beat in our huge group. However, the manager was awful about our special homemade dessert, which she had previously confirmed we could bring, as it was a gift for our mom. No excuse for saying one thing and doing another. This restaurant is terrible!!! After waiting and hour and a freaking half they brought me a black baked potato and dry meat and I ordered a side of asparagus on got 3 tiny sprigs!! And my boyfriend ordered fries and gets dry awful country potatoes!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! and on top of the awful food the host was so rude. And that cost us 70$. This place was great, good food, good service and a good menu selection. We arrived during a busy time and they encouraged us to take our kids to the free game room and wait and it really was pretty cool. A few games but they were all free and it entertained the kids for 30 min perfectly. Hostess was awesome! Kids menu pretty standard and mac and cheese was legit for the kids. Perhaps like taking a little step back in time but worth it, would easily do the Cajun shrimp pasta again! read more

My friends and I really liked this place. We ate in the pub and were charmed by its old-school style. It was like "Mad Men" in Montana. It seemed only fitting, therefore, to get classic dishes like the chicken cordon bleu and classic drinks like a vodka gimlet. In addition to traditional items like the chicken cordon bleu, prime rib and chicken fried steak, they also had a variety of other menu options such as fish tacos and a bacon mac and cheese. They also had a cocktail list with some interesting modern concoctions. We enjoyed the huckleberry lemonade (I think that's what it was). The food and the drinks were quite good. The prices are reasonable. Our server was great. She was working hard doing double-duty, both mixing the cocktails behind the bar and serving as our waitress. In addition, it was the only restaurant that seemed to be open and serving food at 9:00 PM. Bigfork is a town that shuts down early (at least in Sept. post-Labor Day)! They also have a nice patio for dining al fresco. I'd definitely dine here again and would recommend it to others. read more

Almost everything on the menu is breaded. Far too expensive for the unimaginative menu and mediocre quality--I have rarely had fishy salmon. Not even the ubiquitous panko could cover it. Wait staff's sections are so spread out that it's difficult for them to keep tabs on everyone. We'll try somewhere else next time. read more

Went there on Mother's day. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant times ten. Hostess was over the top rude. Sent all our food back was all gross, meat wiggly, everything floating in grease. Waitress said owner would credit me later. Come to find out owner that was supposed to credit me and hostess were the same horrible rude woman. Will write a review on every site I can find. read more

I've been a loyal customer of the Bigfork Inn since I moved to the area 4 years ago. It was always one of those places that stayed the same and was consistent. Comfortable atmosphere and comfort food of a quality you could always count on. I've eaten there twice lately and was very disappointed both times. Items are consistently over salted or just over seasoned. It is obvious that, even though the menu items are the same, the products being used are not of the same quality as before but yet the prices have been raised. We got a piece of cheesecake that was literally the worst I've ever tasted. It had very little flavor. Even the crust lacked flavor or any sweetness at all. The texture was off. I had one bite and no more. And I LOVE cheesecake, so I was very sad that it was so underwhelming that I couldn't bring myself to even eat it. The service in the Pub was phenomenal!! And, I did appreciate the $4 drinks and the concept of the $6 apps. But, I got the grilled cheese sliders with a shot of tomato soup and....don't get it. Good idea, horrible execution on the sliders. I really hope they get through this transition and back to providing a quality product and quality family atmosphere that the community has appreciated for so many years. read more

Sunday nite in Bigfork makes for slim pickings , but these guys delivered. Good prime rib. Reasonable wine prices. Crisp salad. Mud slide pie very good. Service very good. read more

I am writing in behalf of our group which consist of 5 to 14 people. we have been going to the plays in bigfork for 25 years and we all get together for dinner before the play sometimes that is only way we see each other. we do go to other restaurants but the bigfork inn was usually the one we choose as we knew their menu. so on august 23 we went there and we had finished our meal and since we are conscious of leaving a tip my wife had her chart and got to looking at the bill and they had already put the gratuity on bill at 18%. this is the first time that had ever happened in 25 years and we were all rather upset and confronted the waitress and she it was the management idea and when we confronted the management she was rude and no apology I even wrote the inn days later and so far no apology. so then we were wondering why this time and why were they conspiring to do this to us was it because we were such a good group and felt the could get away with it. so how do they know that they are going to give us 18% before even tell them what we thought. so lets see what they want you to have 18%. 1. a salad all lettuce with one small tomato and a curled carrot 2. baked potato that was so over cook the insides were just about gone and another baked potato that was so cold butter wouldn't melt. 3. rib roast that was full of fat and the au jus was thick as molasses that it wasn't edible. 4. home fry potatoes that were cooked to long to a hard crisp and very few. 5. a steak that was brought out with butter and sour cream missing for potato. 6. had to beg for water and then only half glass. waitress only had two people drinking so going to the bar was hard for her. we all knew what we wanted so she didn't waste time taking order. when she got to me I rattled off my order she didn't even have to ask (her comment that was easy) so we are punished for easy. I happened to hear people around us and she had to spend a lot more time with tables of four than she did with our table of six. so has greed over taken loyalty. the next Friday we went to another play but different restaurant where we choose the tip and guess what the tip was what the bigfork inn would of got so the very thing that is so important to the bigfork inn went to a different waitress isn't that a hoot just think we would of went back there and they would of got another tip does that logic make since. at this time I would not recommend the bigfork inn my opiion read more
