I was advised that Frigidaire would be handling this issue as quickly as possible, however I have still not heard from anyone and we have been living with constant beeping since May 29, 2026. The refrigerator alarm continues to sound every few seconds, day and night. This situation has become unacceptable. Given that one of the identical refrigerators purchased in the same order has already required replacement, that a technician was unable to repair this unit, that the replacement part has a minimum four-week wait, and that there is no certainty the part will resolve the issue, I am requesting that this refrigerator be replaced rather than repaired. We purchased five appliances through Trail Appliances and expected a much better experience than repeated defects and extended delays on two brand-new refrigerators. Please let me know by return email what steps are being taken to replace this unit. read more

* Kelowna Store * $2500+, 8 weeks and still waiting for a simple solution. * Getting tired of being passed around from person to person. * Un-returned calls I've never left a poor review before but honestly, I am not sure why we've had such a bad time with Trail. I've waited until now to leave this review in the hope I could leave a positive one. We spent over $2500 on a fridge 8 weeks ago with Neil. When it was delivered there was a small problem the door. Then began the process of trying to get help and a solution. The delivery guys said we needed a tech and the tech guys said it was the delivery guys... and so it started. We've been passed around from person to person - Calls are not returned even though promises (Neil) were made. Still waiting.... waiting... now it feels like we are being lied to. All I need is the *smallest* of washers and someone with the skill to come and put it in place. I'm sure Trail's answer will be that they are doing everything they can and that they kept in contact - they didn't. It took a lovely front desk person to put us in touch with a manager THEN we felt listened to. Unfortunately, that was 2 weeks ago - we are still waiting. *sigh* I'm hoping that nice person with a washer will turn up soon. read more

Not impressed at all. I would not buy anything from these guys if I had a choice. We bought a brand new kitchen of appliances (20k) and once we paid we were pretty much forgotten. I'm still waiting for a part the delivery guys broke and then no-one there knows how to return a call - likely since they made their money, I guess they can just ignore us. Still waiting for the replacement cooktop and shitty thing now is that the cabinets are being built to these appliances and we don't know if they are going to be able to get the cook top and griddle. Very disappointed. Don't pay until you absolutely have to - usually my policy and learned my lesson. read more

N.B. I live in Kelowna BC Canada. Yelp has it wrong. I bought an over the stove microwave on Black Friday and picked it up two weeks later on Dec 15 when it arrived in Kelowna. My installer (not from TA) came later that day, took off some of the outside packaging and then said he'd measure it to see if it would fit. As a senior widow I knew nothing in this field and thought any one of them would fIt. It turned out it was an inch lower than it should have been for safety so I phoned TA on Monday the 18th and spoke to the manager who informed me of their non refundable policy. I was not informed at the time of purchase of this unusual policy. I argued my point and he 'offered to take it back but charge me 20% of the price as he claimed he could not sell it as new being as the shrink wrapping had been partially removed. My thought is that it could be sold as a sale item for the same special Black Friday price I'd paid! So, if you decide to buy at Trail Appliances, don't take it for granted that they have the usual return policy. Not so! read more

I ordered my kitchen appliances back in January and was told it would be 6 weeks as the distributor was behind. I called in 5 weeks later to try and get my delivery date and was put on hold. When the lady came back, I was told that the distributor was even further behind and my appliances wouldn't be here until April!!!! They clearly forgot to put the order in, and instead of fessing up they flat out lied to me! I now have a beautifully renovated kitchen that I can't use until April - awesome. read more

Purchasing a Viking Dishwasher and Wall Oven from Trail Appliances has been a very bad experience. From my first call in to Sales to the eventual delivery of my Appliances, it was apparent that they are unprofessional, lack customer service skills and once they have your money, could care less about you and your experience. Voice messages went unreturned after calls were unanswered. The store Manager never did return my calls! Very unimpressive. I will not purchase anything from this company again. I spent almost $9000.00 and paid in full in May 2018. I finally received the correct Appliances at the end of August 2018. I find it difficult to believe that they are a customer choice award winner! Our freezer door handle broke off (quite easily), which WAS under warranty. I was dealing with a project manager/customer service person at Kelowna Trail at this time. I contact this person via email and phone Dec 18th 2018, they kept telling me that someone would be in contact with me within 24 hours. DID NOT HAPPEN! Emails and phone calls were exchanged back and forth for 2 months after and nothing happened (Feb 8th 2019). They emailed me saying they were away for two days. Still nothing after 2 months! They would just keep telling me that someone was going to contact me within 24 hours. Nothing ended up happening, my husband had to fix the handle himself. Appliances look nice but are not made well. Our freezer droor barely opens to begin with. It was our condo builder who installed Trail appliances, we had no choice. read more

Amazing service - bought a washer and dryer, had it delivered only to find it was too big. Delivery guys has to load it and take it back. We went into Trail to sort it out and the two lovely ladies working the front desk revised our order and even managed to arrange delivery for us next Monday. Unexpectedly our stove suddenly went so I went immediately shopping for a replacement with local business looking for a glass top stove that had inventory available. I went to 4 major appliance suppliers including this one and each store had COVID procedures in place along with sanitizers, masking and controls for number of customers. Trail was the only business with barricades in place to prevent you shopping in the store until a customer service attendant was available to escort you around the store. I had to wait for abit for customer service to retrieve me and track my movements for what I was looking for. This was the most absurd process I have ever experienced and a big disappointment. I certainly support safe practices for COVID but this was over the top and inconsistent with other similar box stores. Be aware of their policy read more

I would give them 0 for their customer service but its not an option. We purchased $14,000 on kitchen appliances for our new home just over a year ago in Kelowna. When the products were delivered the fridge had a dent in the side of it - no big deal its going into a built in so they gave so a few dollars off to keep it. After having the fridge for a few days we found the doors were not closing properly so we called and Trail sent out a maintenance team to fix. A year later the doors have the same problem but worse as the original fix wasn't completed properly. Called Trail Kelowna. They say its out of warranty now so we will have to pay. They recognize after looking at the file that it wasn't fixed properly but tell us to call Whirlpool who makes the fridge and see if they will warrant it as they are the ones who didn't fix it properly to begin with. So - I as the client has to go out of my way to find a solution to a problem that Trail never fixed to begin with and all they will do is give me a phone number to call for the manufacturer after they never fixed it to begin with. My question to Trail is - WHY DID I PURCHASE THROUGH YOU IF YOU WILL NOT SERVICE MY PRODUCTS. Do not buy from them. Go to someone else. I am sure Home Depot or Coast Appliances have better service than NO SERVICE like Trail has. read more

Showroom is great. Working appliances and knowledgeable sales staff. That's where the positive ends. The after sale process is total disaster. We went in on 04/17 when our 5 year old washer and dryer quit virutally on the same day. Purchased a new laundry pair and they assured us they understood it was urgent and would get it delivered as soon as possible. The following week they emailed to say both pieces were now assigned and they would deliver on Friday the 24th. A few hours later, scheduling called to advise it would be "next week". I expressed my disappointment, and she promised to see whats she could do. The salesman contacted me by email a few hours later saying that while the equipment would be in the Kelowna store on Friday, the earliest we could take delivery/install would be the Monday. Frustrated I looked elsewhere but at this point no one else could deliver any sooner (we're already 9 days passed ordering). Today is the day of delivery/install. No one called or showed up. Called customer service and they have advised I have no delivery even scheduled for the equipment. Don't fall for the flashy showroom, check out the product and then buy it from somewhere that cares about after sale service. read more

We purchased a washer /dryer pair on boxing day for delivery on Jan 14. On delivery day washer was ok but dryer was damaged. After a 2 week delay second dryer came and it was damaged. No service but you can get another one in 2 weeks. In order to have a dryer we asked about a floor model. For a few dollars off they would deliver 5 days later with no offer to bring sooner. We picked it up ourselves so we could do laundry. We are still waiting for rest of credit to be posted to our credit card. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Do not recommend any purchase from Trail. read more

I found them to be very unreliable. I ordered a microwave and was told it would it would take 3 weeks to get in but had to pay for it in full. In 3 weeks I was notified by email that it would be another 3 weeks wait at a minimum and probably longer. I then tried to cancel the order and could not get any assistance until I kept phoning. They finally confirmed my cancellation and said they would credit my charge card the next day. A week later the credit had not reached my account and I phoned the store. They said they were going to process the credit right away. They have had my money now for 6 weeks yet have never contacted me or offered any compensation for keeping and using my money. BE VERY CAREFUL IN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. The customer is obviously the least important part of their business. read more

Trail Appliances has a very bad policy. If you buy something using a debit card and then they don't deliver they will not credit back your card. You have to wait for a cheque to be emailed from Head Office. It has been 4 weeks and I am still waiting. Go somewhere else. Talk about bad customer. Manager lied repeatedly. The sold me a kitchen set, said it would be there and delivered in a week. After flat out lying to me and about 1200 dollars in tracel expenses, they cancled half my order. They promised it would arrive for over six months (fridge and stove). They lied about having the fridge, then lied countless more time about it being shipped. This should be a -5 star rating. I have a range with a defective circuit board. I have bee waiting more than 3 months for the warranty company to fix the problem.
