Booked a custom 3-hour tour for 15yo MTB rider, Phil showed my son all the best trails in the Southwest. Slim Shady, Highline, Eazy Breezy, Llama. Fun techy single track, son had a blast. Excellent communication, easy drop off and pickup. Knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend.

Derek, the guide, was very knowledgeable and took us on the perfect hike for our level of hiking experience. They provide all necessary gear for you with snacks and water

Great experience and hike with Phil! We were in Sedona for the weekend and booked Trail Lovers for my husband and I. Phil was great, super friendly, knowledgeable, and well prepared. He had everything we needed and little extra things (such as a blanket for us to sit and enjoy our snacks) and a fun celebratory drink at the end. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again!

Cannot say enough about our fantastic experience w Trail Lovers. From working w Jason to plan the perfect hikes, to the personalized service of being picked up and dropped off at our rental, to the expertise and kindness of our guide Zach. It was truly beyond a 5 star experience for our small group! We did 2 different hikes w Zach and each one offered amazing views, insights into the area, history, and nature of Sedona. Zach tailored each hike to suit our varied physical abilities, so that every one of us thoroughly enjoyed each hike. Regardless of the amount of time you have in Sedona, Trail Lovers should be the top of your list for activities!

Did two fabulous guided hikes with the owner Jason, over two days. We are from So Cal and first time visiting Sedona. The hikes were totally out of the box and out of the ordinary. Jason is a local with fabulous tails about Sedona's history, trail history and area naming history. If you want to go on a fantastic private guided hike with " best friend" type guide than Trail Lovers is your best bet. They provided anything you needed and Sherpa like carried everything in their pack included water, energy snacks and fresh fruit.

John was an awesome tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the foliage and history of the land. it was a beautiful tour and full of information. Thanks for helping our 80 year old mom down the more difficult terrain. Great experience.

Love this company! I did a solo hike with Josh. He was so polite, very knowledgeable, and so patient with me every time I wanted him to take my pictures lol. I spoke to the owner beforehand and he made sure I was well informed before the hike. It's so worth your money to go with guys like them. They are experts in their field and have tremendous amount of experience in the Sedona area, hiking, nature / plants, trails...everything! :)

The snacks were healthy and plentiful. That view though..

Short version: If you haven't done a hike with Trail Lovers while in Sedona, you've truly missed out. Long version (because it really was that good): Spoke with the owner Jason on the phone since we were dragging the kids (11, 13) with us. He immediately knew where to take us and within minutes we were booked for an 8am hike despite half of us not being morning people. *Best decision ever!* The hike was quiet and beautiful, and Jason was able to share so much information on the flora, the landscape, the politics of the area, and even a little background of how he came to do this (us entrepreneurs always enjoy those stories!). Our resting point was perfect and he laid out the prettiest and healthiest picnic of snacks where there was something for everyone - and my celiac daughter was taken care of! The hike definitely hit the #1 thing to do on our list of favorites on this trip. Snoopy and Lucy were on show and we found Donald Trump too! We enjoyed the hike and company so much, that when our flight got cancelled we immediately booked another hike for us adults and this time agreed to the 7am suggestion. Again, best decision ever! The views were breathtaking and he knew my husband really wanted to fly his drone and take pictures so he made sure the area was not a no-fly zone. They really take the time to listen to what you want and cater to you, and they come prepared with everything. If they suggest an early morning hike, just do it - we were the only ones at the start of our trail and on our return the parking lot was swamped! Not once did we feel like we were being rushed and we were all very comfortable with the trail and effort. I'd recommend them over and over!

Susan who gives the tours is spectacular. She took us to all of the places in Sedona in 2 to 3…read morehours and we found that she was filled with knowledge that goes way beyond what you would appreciated the beginning. You need to start asking questions of Susan and she will expose his entire life not only of Sedona but I have her own personal life. I found that the tour was so interesting that my wife and I went out and bought 2E bikes so that we could try and duplicate and adventure that I know we will never be able to without Susan. So that we will return and do more tours with her and then use our E bikes to try to supplement the amazing amount of knowledge that she has. If you don't sign up for a tour it will clearly be your loss and we are coming back to Sedona to do more tours with Susan.

I'm an experienced ebike rider and owner who has taken a number of tours both in the US and abroad…read more I wanted to share this wonderful experience with my girlfriend who hadn't ridden an ebike before. In talking to Susan a couple of nights before our ride, I explained the situation to make sure the ride was appropriate for a beginner. She was very nice and assured me it would work out fine and that we were the only two riders scheduled for that day. On the day of our ride Susan briefly explained the bike to my girlfriend and seemed anxious get started. I felt she was cutting short the time my girlfriend needed to feel comfortable and get familiar with her bike. I tried to explain some of the things I have learned over the years to make it easier, and safer. But I was cut off and was told it was too much information, and that she (Susan) would take care of the instruction. The familiarization part of our time was cut shorter than I had experienced with other tours and I didn't feel it was adequate before we took off on our tour. At our first stop Susan stopped where the ground was slightly sloped. My girlfriend fell pretty hard when she stopped, as she wasn't prepared, nor very experienced with dismounting, especially on a sloped surface. Susan didn't really react very quickly to help. Once bandaged up, I again tried to help show my girlfriend ways that might help make it easier and safer, as I saw her fall and Susan didn't. Again I was told, this time in a condescending manner, that she was the only one that should be telling my girlfriend how to safely ride. The trip was nice and the scenery beautiful. However, it seemed maybe Susan had just done this trip too many times and the joy was no longer there. Fortunately, I did manage during the trip to explain to my girlfriend about the gears on the bike, which she had no earlier explanation of, making some of the hills a little easier. As we arrived back at our starting location, my girlfriend was a little hesitant about coming up to where we were stopping, she again fell. Susan again didn't rush over to offer assistance, but stood off to the side until I got there to help. She doesn't seem to have very good reactions, or just doesn't seem to want to get involved. A first for me anywhere for a tour guide. She then scrutinized the bike to make sure it wasn't damaged, pretty much ignoring my girlfriend, then let me know I had used a lot of power on my bike. Despite feeling poorly taken care of we tried to tip her $20.00. However she didn't have change, so we ended up tipping $30.00. Looking back at our experience, tipping at all was probably sending the message we were happy with the service, which we weren't. It is not my intent to punish by giving a bad review. Rather to point out that more instruction on riding and a more supportive attitude could have made a safer and more enjoyable ride.

If you've never tried an e-bike, you really should as they are quite fun. Sedona has a bunch of hills so if you like going downhill, this is the place for you. The owner was very chill and told us he would not be strict if we were a little late coming back. He was helpful, showed us a bunch of places we could visit, and helped adjust our bikes and helmets. They also sell coffee here too. One of the closest things here were the bell rock and cathedral rock hikes. Unfortunately, you can't use your bike on the cathedral rock trail (it's because the hike is so steep that you're almost climbing the mountain at certain points). I liked the service, the bikes were fantastic. I used 48% of the battery.

A Great Ride & Great Vibe at Sedona Bike and Bean!…read more We had such a great experience renting e-bikes from Sedona Bike and Bean! The bikes were lightweight and sleek--you almost wouldn't even know they were electric until you start climbing hills and feel that awesome boost. One of my favorite features was the seat lift you could control with your thumb--super handy for adjusting on the fly, especially when powering up those inclines. We biked all around the southern Sedona area and loved the freedom it gave us to explore without worrying about parking. While others were circling crowded lots near Cathedral Rock and the Chapel of the Holy Cross, we cruised right in on our bikes and got to enjoy those iconic spots stress-free. After five hours of riding and exploring, we returned to the shop, and I treated myself to a delicious Iced Americano. I also picked up a fun pair of locally crafted bike-chain earrings--such a cool souvenir! The staff at Bike and Bean were terrific from start to finish. They helped us plan out the best routes, made sure we were comfortable with the equipment, and genuinely seemed excited to help us have a good time. My only (small) complaint: at 5'2", I was on the edge of being tall enough for their bike models and felt a little off-balance in a couple of moments. Thankfully, no spills--but a slightly smaller option would've made the ride perfect. All in all, this place is a gem. If you're visiting Sedona and want a fun, flexible way to explore--skip the car and grab a bike from Bike and Bean. Highly recommended!
