This old market at the junction of Highways 62 & 227 has ancient gas pumps and the gas that they produce that I wouldn't trust and inside a convince store and very small cafe. Early one February afternoon I ate a breakfast sandwich at the cafe that was very good with ham, bacon, egg and cheese in a croissant type of bun. I would have had coffee too, but the thermos was empty--the responsibility of the store not the cafe. The furnishings were cheap and old; the wall needed new paint so ambiance and the lack of coffee rates 2 stars; plus if you need a restroom there is only the portapotty out front. A to go cup is packed with big pieces of pork and hominy and comes with sides of little containers of chopped cilantro, onion, radish, cabbage and sliced lime. Was out in the area for a week for work. I had driven past the little gas station a few times and heard there was a taco place inside. Squeezed in the back is probably one of the best little taqueria I've been in since living in Arizona! Like other reviewers have stated, it's really not much to look at. Great hole in the wall taqueria with spicy pork and great beef tacos. You have to be comfortable using the gas station port a potty and the slightly sticky seats, but it is worth the inconvenience for the pork burrito. Tacos, breakfast burritos, burritos, quesadillas, "taco" salads, etc... it's all good! They cook it on demand, so plan on waiting 10-20 minutes for the meat to cook.
