I have used Sam and City Spring & Brake for years, never had an issue until the last year or so…read more The first issue was on my dually work truck where a rim was damaged and bump stops were removed when have springs rebuilt, I took care of those issues as I did not have time to bring the vehicle back. The last visit was much more disappointing, I had the entire front end replaced on another work truck, after about a thousand miles I crawled underneath to inspect and found that the brakes I paid to have replaced were not replaced and that the boots that keep grease in and dirt out of the new ball joints and tie rod ends were cut during installation. I brought the truck back to Sam for warranty work, he became very aggressive and refused to honor his warranty. The guy is an absolute scumbag that does subpar work and refuses to stand behind it.

I have had some good experiences here, but the service department has turned into a joke. I…read morebrought in a car for a broken HVAC and proceeded to argue with the Hyundai Platinum Protection warranty people and instead of submitting the pictures asked for, didn't submit anything, told me it was in denial and I had to contact HPP and to pick up the vehicle. I called HPP and was told they never submitted any documentation, so i took it back the next day and they had to do the same test. They submitted documentation and told me they never heard back. I finally called HPP again and they said they did not submit a picture of the leak and had requested a picture of the actual leak test.. I called back to Philpott and they told me I have to pay for the test because it is my warranties fault that they didn't ask for documentation in a timely manner. Then Crytsal got a bit heated blaming everything on someone else. This was after the first time she told me that she wouldn't give HPP a cell phone number to send the document link because Philpott didn't pay her cell phone bill and she had to leave early to see her daughter's volleyball game. I called back to HPP and they said that and they said they submitted a picture of the ports of the evaporator coil and the expansion valve disconnected, but no picture of it leaking. They also listed the leak on the expansion valve but were requesting a new evaporator coil, so HPP had no idea what was actually broken. I will never do business with any of the Philpott's now. They really went to crap when they moved the Hyundai to the other side of the highway.
