I honestly do not know if I have ever had a better customer experience in my 63 years…read more I worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and I have always believed in treating people with dignity and respect, no matter what side of the desk you are on or what industry you are in. That is exactly what I experienced with The RV Smith. My situation started with several calls around town, trying to find someone who could help me in a pinch and replace the A/C unit on my Jayco Jay Feather, which I just so happened to destroy while going through a do-it-yourself car wash. Long story short, I was distracted and went to the closer car wash instead of the one I normally use to wash my camper. Yada yada yada... I'm a dumbass. As soon as I got home, I started researching businesses that might be able to get the repair done quickly. Since it was a Sunday, I knew all I could really do was research my options and start making calls Monday morning. In all fairness, I knew it was a stretch to find someone who could turn it around right away. Most of the places I called chuckled when I explained the timeline I was hoping for. Several were booked for the rest of the summer and said they could not help me until I was ready to winterize the unit. When I called The RV Smith, Clint answered the phone. From the very beginning, I was met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern -- without judgment. Clint asked specific questions about the unit so he could understand my options. Instead of simply telling me they were booked out, he asked if I could swing by so they could get eyes on it and make sure the damage was not worse than I thought. The next morning, I was there before they opened at 8:00 a.m. Clint was already outside helping another customer, then directed me where to park so someone could take a look at it. It was not even 8:00 yet, and another gentleman told me to talk with Clint because he would help me find the best A/C unit for the size of my camper. Clint greeted me, looked things over, and said it appeared to be pretty straightforward. He gave me several options, including units similar to what I had before and a few newer models that were more efficient and much quieter for only a few hundred dollars more. After doing my own research, I had already made up my mind on what I thought I wanted, and it just so happened to be the same unit Clint recommended. He told me I could either leave the camper there until they fixed it, or I could take it camping that weekend and drop it off the following Monday. Since we already had plans, we decided to camp and make do with a portable A/C unit for the weekend. I dropped the camper off the next Monday, and two days later I received a call that it was ready to pick up. What I did not mention is that I also asked if they could provide an estimate for some body damage caused by Big O Tires when they replaced my old tires, and also check why the water heater was not working. They took care of all of that as well and documented everything clearly. I would recommend The RV Smith to anyone with RV issues. If you want to see what real customer service looks like, look no further. I could not recommend them enough.

They had my truck for 29 days and finally contacted me that my truck was fixed and ready for pickup. They told me they had test driven my truck and everything was OK. My truck has an after mark Kelderrman 4-Link Air Ride Suspension System. On my drive back from Alpine Ford to Walsenburg, CO I discovered my Kelderman Air Ride Suspension was not working and completely deactivated. I new Alpine Ford had screwed it up & I didn't what them to work on my truck again. So I look for a local Kelderman Dealer. It was my lucky day when I found KC Truck Performance Center of Colorado Springs. On Monday 5/6/2024 I contacted this Kelderman Dealer and spoke with the owner Kevin and I told him all the trouble I had with my truck & Alpine Ford. Kevin (A very professional, compassionate business person who puts people before excessive profits) told me if I brought my truck to him on Tuesday 5/7/2024 he could diagnosis the problem and get it fix quickly. I arrived at Kevin's business @ 8;00 am and in a very short time he had my Kelderman Air Ride Suspension System fixed and working as it should. It appeared that during the time Alpine Ford worked on my truck they had disconnected the power line to the Kelderman Air Ride Suspension System and never bother to reconnect it. I tried to pay Kevin for his service, but he refused to take any compensation-who in the World would do this other than Kevin. If you are looking for someone to work on your Kelderman Air Ride Suspension System or install a new Kelderman Air Ride Suspension System and/or a lift kit, you can't go wrong with Kevin doing the work. The World needs more people like Kevin!!!

But it hung a little lower than I had expected. I talked to Kevin and Bill about my mistake and asked if they wouldn't mind helping me out. He once again did an outstanding job. I'll be back to them soon as I want to do more mods on it. Highly recommended.

I responded to your email the same day (January 6th) I received it and that was 4 days ago. I have also left several voice with no returned call. Your customer service I have received is nothing you should be proud of. I have had Haulmark trailers in the past and got goos customer service in AZ. So when i need another trailer in 2016 I needed a trailer I really did not like what I seen in the Haulmark in person. So I started buying ATC or Sundowner trailers. This year I needed another trailer and I knew I did not want another Haulmark and for a Sundowner or ATC I would have to order so I went with a Wells Cargo nice trailer. But if I knew how your customer service was before buying the trailer I would have waited for Sundowner, Mission, or ATC. I really feel like returning this trailer to my dealer and take another avenue. I know now I will NEVER purchase any trailer you manufacturer in the future. It's really sad that I'm having this issue with in the first 2 weeks of owning this trailer. Don't even think I'll give your company or Wells Cargo a good review.

They held their ground and knew that they had the upper hand since they had the model I was looking for, and I could not find one locally. I get that. I'm from MN and they are in CO. Buying sight unseen was difficult and stressful. I asked for a walk around video and never got one, only pictures. I wanted to have the truck camper delivered since we had an elderly dog that could not make the trip. Delivery was expensive. We agreed on a price and somehow that price went up during final invoice time. I was told the camper would be delivered on Wednesday March 11. I got a call Tuesday March 10 and was told the camper was going to arrive "early afternoon that day". I took the afternoon off work to be home when it arrived. Later that morning I was given an updated ETA of 7:30PM. Shortly after 9PM, no camper and no word from them so I reached out. I was told that the driver was "in northern Iowa and would be there in 45 minutes". I waited 1 hour and nothing, so I called again. I was told that they were a half hour away, another lie. It was almost 11PM when they finally arrived. I took delivery of a $40K camper at 11PM at night in the dark of Winter. I paid a premium price for the deliver "service".... After the next morning inspection, all looked good. I did notice that one of the dust caps was missing on one of the four electric jacks. Not a big deal, but I'm an engineer and the manufacturer of the electric jacks supplies them with dust caps for a reason. So, I went on the manufacturers web site to order a replacement. The price of one of the little dust caps was $25 including shipping. I thought before I ordered one, I will ask Pikes Peak if they have a spare. I reached out to them about the single missing cap and was told "all of our Adventurer campers on site don't have any caps, but I do have a spare set that I can send you". I thought that was an odd thing to say. So, I checked the pictures on their web site of other Adventurer campers on the lot and, sure enough, all the pictures showed the dust caps in place on the jacks. That was just weird. Two weeks later, no dust caps arrived so I reached out and was told that they were sent standard mail. No tracking and never arrived. That was weird, too. I was told that they would send another set. I'm not going to hold my breath for those to arrive.... All in all, there were a few other odd stories I could add but you get the picture. I cannot recommend this dealership and won't be going back to them in the future.

I had fuel issues with my FL70 toter home and after spending several thousand dollars with Rush and several times having it towed back to Rush for things that were not fixed now became a bigger nightmare. I have only used my FL70 a few times last drag race season so I fired it up last week and took it to Pilot truck stop a few miles from my place to top off the fuel tanks and it died right at the truck stop. So naturally I called Rush and was told it would be several hours before a technician could come so after waiting and waiting I asked them to coordinate a tow truck if their technician could not come. I asked for the technician cell phone number so I could see if it was something simple and David was able to walk me through troubleshooting and got the truck running again so I called Rush to cancel the tow company which was not due to arrive for about another 30-60 minutes. I call the lady back at Rush and tell her David walked me through troubleshooting to bleed the air out of my fuel lines and I thanked her for her help. Today I got an email saying glad your truck is running good but you have a tow bill of $476 so naturally I thought it was a mistake because the invoice said the tow bill would have been $1100 to take it from Pilot truck stop to Rush service center about 20 minutes away. The previous times I had to get it towed back to Rush only cost less than $600 each time so I called the new manager to ask WTF! Long story short I was told that the tow bill was about normal which after I confirmed with Randy Towing was not accurate. My truck was not towed and the tow truck driver never even showed up because I waited there with my truck running for over an hour longer. Randy Towing is the best big rig towing company in Colorado Springs but they didn't call them they called some other company I won't mention because I believe they are being dishonest about this situation and seriously price gauging. To top it off after being a loyal customer to Rush the new manager tells me if I don't pay for my truck not being towed for $476 they will not work on my truck ever again so talk about piss poor customer service I really wouldn't recommend any business that tells a customer that bs. So I tell the manager I would compromise and pay half the bill for nothing just to make everyone happy he tells me no and he doesn't need my business. What the manager didn't know is I own several businesses and I am a millionaire but not a fool and I will never step foot in any Rush truck service center ever again. If this manager worked for me I would definitely fire him because good business is simple but common sense is definitely not common anymore. Avoid this business Dr. F July 10th 2024 I just received a call from the actual GM Kevin of Rush Trucking Center in Colorado Springs and was informed he was completely unaware of the problem I had with a manager at Rush Truck Center several months ago. First I must say when a company calls you to apologize these days it's something you should not take lightly in the business world of today. I was informed the manager I had the issue with was terminated and with the attitude he had I am not surprised. Kevin took the time to research how long I have been a loyal customer and asked me if he could make this right as he already verified I had spent over $10k with them on repairs to my FL70 race rig. Just Kevin calling a customer and listening to what happened and understanding my concerns and wanting to make this situation right was all I needed to hear. Kevin is definitely a real manager representing Rush Truck Center in Colorado Springs. Kevin I really appreciate you taking the time and caring about customer service as you have restored my trust in this business. I am a loyal customer and after this incident I linked up with one of your extremely talented technicians who started his own mobile business so I have been working with Andy since this happened.
