Having spent years receiving forceful "snap crackle pop" chiropractic adjustments, I personally believe those techniques contributed to ligament laxity and made it harder for my body to hold an adjustment. I signed up for the $49 new patient special because I was experiencing neck pain and was hopeful…read morethat this office could help. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite of what is described here. I had no history of back problems when I came in. During my treatment, my back was adjusted, the next morning I could barely walk for several days. I contacted the office to explain what had happened, but I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or handled with much empathy. I was told to come back so they could address the issue. Since the pain started after my original visit, I assumed the follow-up would be included as part of my treatment. Instead, I was charged over $70 for the additional appointment. I was in significant pain for weeks afterward and continue to have back issues that I did not have before seeking treatment. There was no follow-up to check on my condition, and the experience left me so uncomfortable that I never returned for the one-hour massage included in the package. While others may have had positive experiences, this was mine, and I believe potential patients should be aware of it when making their decision.
