I am not sure if this is a dive bar or a blues bar, but either way it's a cool bar. We went there for a birthday party, and the cool bartender and the accommodating cook managed to handle and satisfy all 60 guests. They were both friendly and welcoming. As the name suggests, the theme of this bar is Western, and they have a lot of old western memorabilia including interesting ceiling fans that are driven by belts like old machineries from the late 1800s. The bar is located in the heart of Oregon City right on Main, so you can't miss it. There's plenty of street parking in that area. read more

Great service, clean, good food. Very welcoming dive bar with everything you need to watch a game, play some lotto, eat, drink, and enjoy a cold/ rainy day! Went to Trail's End to watch a friend's band play. It was our first time visiting this establishment. Had read reviews - some good, some bad; so wasn't really sour what we were walking into. Food was typical bar selection and good . Service was great. However, I do feel it was a little expensive. The bar it self is nice but we went on a Wednesday night to a nearly empty bar with a cover band playing - they were charging $10 per person for cover. After paying the $20 cover for the two of us, we both ordered 2 mixed drinks each (not cocktails, nothing fancy) for a total of 4 drinks....The bill was $43!!!! Well, what can I say, I didn't love this place. Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with it. It's just not my scene. They have very good variety of groups that come through this location. I went there to see my cousin play prior to him leaving for Nashville. It was good and the waitress was very helpful in finding us a seat that we could see the stage from. Definitely an older crowd (I can say that cuz I am too) but nice. Some dancing on the small dance floor up front. We had a beer and a coke and talked to my cousin a bit prior to leaving. Everyone was friendly and it was clearly a local hang out for some. If you like the Blues check it out. read more

We took out of town guests to Trails End on Thanksgiving Friday. We were going primarily for the music, however we decided to eat at the venue as well. Huge mistake. Three of us had prime rib which we requested to be cooked medium. It caller so well done that our was unable to be eaten ... home for the dogs. Another had a hamburger which again was so overcooked it got very low ratings. The last meal was fish and chips which were deemed "not bad" as the batter was okay. The downside too them was the use of cod which while it is often used creates is mushy in texture. Word to the wise. Get your pre show dinner fix elsewhere and then go to the show. read more

Went here to listen to some live music. Great little venue. A much older crowd but the dance floor was rockin. The servers were great and attentive. Only stayed a few hours and managed to dance a few songs. It was a bit loud but overall we enjoyed the moment. read more

Since the new owners have taken over there has been a slow decline in the quality of the venue, including the help. First let me say I have been attending this club since 1990, I have seen some great acts over this time. At one time it was my number one club. Today this club not only has the worst possible owner in her skin tight once upon baseball outfit, revealing more the these eyes could handle, she was not only rude, she pours the worst drinks we have every had, so watered down why bother serving them. When asked if they had any alcohol in them she scowled and said of coarse. The attendance was way down, unlike the years past. Now let's she one owner and a crappy waitress, it simply spells disaster... We got our first drinks quickly, we expressed we needed to place a food order. Once our drinks were given to us she was gone... I stepped up to the bar where she was playing on her phone and asked if we could please place an order??? Her reply was in a minute! In a minute, put your Facebook away Darlin and take our order. When ordering I specifically said two of us were sharing a cheeseburger and asked to have it split. Our third friend ordered a full meal. When our food arrived my sandwich was not split, I asked her if she could return to the kitchen to be split? She looked at me like I was crazy... NO, she replied why do you think I brought you a knife! Are you kidding me, customer service means nothing! After that we were shunned... well any hour of that we decided to go. They were holding my card. I asked to put the food in my card and the other two woman would like to close out. She said only one of the woman are here, yes the other is gathering her belongings and will be here in a moment, she refused to close out till all three of us were by her side... I am covering the food and the others two wanted to close out their bar tab... you would have thought we asked her to fly for NASA... completely lost... no math skills it ended up that this posed to be to difficult for her so Everything wound up on one of the ladies tab.... 100% including the food which I specifically told to put on my tab... a grade school student would have been more accomplished at such a remedial task. The show was great, The club a staff get an F! I had brought a talent scout in from San Francisco who was applauded at my decision to attend such a horrific venue, and yes it was her tab the got stuck with the entire tab... unbelievable! I am sad to say I no longer support this venue... I would encourage everyone to seek another venue for the music, there are so many places that actually value your business. read more

I went for the first time since Covid to hear live music here, which was great for my soul. However, staff did not require folks to wear masks inside and did not have doors or windows open. They allowed people unmasked to stand in line close to each other and talk to staff closely unmasked. They allowed people to dance and walk around everywhere without masks. I love this place and have been coming here for about 11 years. I still can't believe I hadn't written a review on it. The service can be a bit slow at least initially, but once you've been waited on they are usually really good at getting food out to you quickly and keeping the drinks flowing. The food is usually great and there are 2-3 different specials every day. Everything from a blue cheese burger and fries for $5.50 to a $10 prime rib dinner. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I looked at a menu because I usually order one of the specials. Drinks are good and strong and they have a pretty extensive selection of brewed beverage as well as hard alcohol. They offer live music at least four nights a week with Friday and Saturday the only night they charge a cover. They are usually involved in lots of community events like Relay for Life, Oregon Food Bank, etc. So if you're feeling especially generous while sucking down some suds, you can find an outlet for your philanthropic desires. Plus they have some kookie celebrations such as Jimmy Buffet's Birthday on June 21st. $3 burgers, $2 beers, Jimmy's music on the sound system, and lots of Hawaiian shirt clad locals singing about Margaritaville. The people who hang here are mostly regulars so the atmosphere can feel a bit clique-ish when you first come in. But stick around, come back often, and you'll be part of the family in good time. read more

Yowza! A big shout out to the cook who made my breakfast today. My regular O.C. Breakfast go to's on main street were busy so I ventured into territory not often traveled and was rewarded for doing so. Both the Omelet and Hash Browns were cooked to perfection, and just as important no excessive oil which is a pet peeve of mine. If I could give 0 stars I would. A couple of my girlfriends and I wanted to grab drinks in the Oregon city area and our dads were with us. We approached the bar and were met with really hostile bouncers who told us it was a $20 cover to get in. We asked why, because we hadn't heard of a cover in OC prior to then. From there, we started to walk past and the bouncer along with his supposed girlfriend and they wanted to fight with our dads for being "outsiders" and went chest to chest with my 50 year old dad. We just wanted to buy a couple beers and support a local business. I have never been so offended by an establishment. We decided to walk down the street to the ic house where they welcomed us with open arms, no cover, great service and cheap drinks. I will NEVER come back to this place or recommend this establishment to anyone. Stay away from here, they are discriminative, white trash and ridiculous! read more

The atmosphere, literally at the end of the Oregon Trail is historic and fun. The cover charge was only $6 and prices are fair. The food was good ,not great and the kitchen very prompt. My only gripe was the parade of zombie stoners drifting in and out of the outdoor patio ...we were buffeted by the rancid pot smoke they trailed in...and they tended to get in the way and it got worse as the night aged. read more
