Marque came out on a quick emergency response to repair our backyard fence during the storms so our dog wouldn't get out.

In an odd sort of way, it turned out my first choice wasn't my best choice!…read more I came across the listing and thought "OK - it's a little corny name, 'Those Tech Guys'" but honestly, if you hang around tech guys at all, you get it. I am far from a professional when it comes to IT installations, but I know enough to be dangerous. And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!

It was expensive, but I paid for the convenience and ease of booking. Their rep came out. He was courteous and although a little jittery, knew what he was doing (hence the 2 stars/the job *did* get done). However I ended up paying $90 extra for - I'm not sure what? ..He said he didn't have a long enough cord to connect behind the wall, but my outlets aren't that far away? They're literally on the same wall - how long is the cord they bring? 3 feet? And then they charge extra for the service that I already chose/paid for. A plate is like $2. Another vent - I was home alone and there was no way this one guy could lift a TV and mount/dismount it. I had to use all of my *one* muscle and hold it while he worked on the wall. I literally broke a sweat. I mean... what if I had been clumsy and dropped it? What if I was pregnant and couldn't risk it? Shouldn't they send 2 guys out? Otherwise why not pay ME a portion of that job? I tried to email and get the $90 portion refunded, but nope. That's bad customer service. So: I do NOT recommend paying $450+ to get a TV mounted from Hello Tech.

Honestly, my last time here was back in 2022 when I needed furniture myself, so I don't come here very often. The building itself is massive and huge, housing many sections filled with furniture and tools of different kinds like for the kitchen, living room and bathroom, along with rooms for lighting and the warehouse where you can grab your stuff. This isn't even the bulk of it, and we spent a while in here while also getting some dessert! DISCLAIMER: If you're here for just food and/or know how IKEA works, you can skip the next two paragraphs of this review. When you get in, you can pick up a brochure outlining the approximate layout of the building's section and a small pencil. For almost every room, the larger furnitures have numbers on them that correspond to the parts you pick up yourself from their warehouse section, which comes just before the cash registers. There are smaller objects like small lamps, nuts and bolts, fixtures and pots that you can just pick up and put in your cart/bag. Even though each area is numbered a certain way and the map on the brochure looks linear, you can skip sections via shortcuts placed throughout. Otherwise, you follow the nicely placed arrows guiding you through all the sections and just enjoy the placements of some of the things you wanna get. I found myself oogling over the kitchen and bedroom setups every once in a while! Once you're done with all of that, you can purchase your items either through self checkout or at the registers where staff help you. Some of them also stay by the self-checkout areas and assist those who have trouble with some of the features. Some simple tips I have for grabbing objects: - Depending on what you get, make sure you grab ALL the parts for the stuff you get in the warehouse! They're usually clearly labeled but it's easy to miss some of them. - My friend used the IKEA app and came prepared ahead of time with a long list of items he wanted. He used some of the computers spread around the store to help him find which specific room carried the object(s) he was looking for. - Writing the numbers for larger goodies isn't always helpful as you might not remember what an object looks like when you reach the warehouse. I usually take photos of that number along with the object so I can gauge if I'm getting the right things. After doing all that shopping, we stopped by the small cafe just after the cash registers and got ourselves their frozen yogurt, which essentially tastes like vanilla ice cream but has a slightly different consistency from regular ice cream, something I can only describe as being a lot smoother than ice cream and a little tart. The cone it's served in is your standard ice cream cone. From friends who love going here, they advise to go during weekdays when it's not as packed, and to not try the overhype Swedish meatballs either. Since I'm a foodie, I'm gonna do the latter next time I come here!
