What a bad experience!! I had an abscessed tooth with a lot of infection. We scheduled an appointment to pull the tooth in 2 days and he was to call in antibiotics for me. I already was feeling sick from the infection. My husband waited at Walmart till the pharmacy closed and Dr Tran never sent in the prescription! I called the office 1st thing in the morning and found out he forgot!!!! REALLY? I went to another dentist I was so angry. When I called to cancel my appt he answered and denied that he didn't send it in until the next day. Dang what a lie! Staff is amazing! read more

If you don't have perfect teeth dentist treats patient without much care or concern. Don't get the best work done. Definitely not careful or attention to details. I have medical issues that reflect in my teeth having problems yet he acts like I purposefully let my perfect teeth go to shite & he behaves as if I don't deserve his time even though I pay cash & it's cost me over $15,000 within a couple years. I'm left with 14 teeth all of which look horrible, out of alignment with no solutions discussed. Refuses to give a referral to a surgeon until he does all the work he wants to do sucking me dry of funds. While I wait for an opening to get work done. Who can drop $3,000 each visit? My cards are feeling the pressure & he has ruined my once pretty smile. I'm embarrassed & ashamed so his treatment of me has succeeded. The despise of dentists is earned. If they want people to like going to the dentist treat them better & put the concerns of the patient first not just the want of money. Overpriced doesn't even adequately describe dentists. The supplies can't cost much & the 10-15 minutes of work put in doesn't warrant $3000, certainly not unfairly judged all of it is earned by him. Dr. Tran is awesome. He evaluated and talked through a difficult bridge issue with me. We looked at all the available options. We took the best course of action. Also, his desk staff have been able to get in me for emergencies, like a tooth ache. I highly recommend Dr. Tran. He and his staff take the time to make sure everything is done right. read more

Horrible. DO NOT trust him with your wisdom teeth. messed up my boyfriend's mouth and had him under for almost 3 hours only to pull 1/4 teeth. I have been to many dentists in my life and have had extensive work done. Dr Oei is my favorite dentist of all. He is a perfectionist and I love that about Rose and him. He is extremely gentle, knowledgeable, quiet and has given me a pretty smile again with partials and caps. When my granddaughter needed to have her double eye teeth ( canines) taken care of he is the first one I thought of. Dr Oei has shown great patience with her and has come in early to repair her braces. You can't go wrong with Dr Oei, his assistant Rose and the office girls. Very professional and so kind. Worked with me on the payments and always kept me up to date on the dental plan with me. I have a fear of needles and they kept that in mind everytime they had to use one. The gave me my shots slow so it didn't hurt as bad and kept my fears down. I do recommend them. Drs. Tran and Oui are competent and friendly. The office staff has steady gone down hill. [B.D. gives a review in 2015, the staff was excellent 10 years ago.] I have tried to complete payments for services rendered at the counter when I am leaving. Multiple times this year, I have been told I haven't paid in full and get mailed bills 3 to 4 months later. I asked why when I was in the office there was a bill to be paid, they pretend it isn't their fault. These girls have the computer in front of them. The little girls are nasty, argumentative, and lectury. My husband and I have been cash paying customers for over 2 decades. Conversations generally devolve into.... "this is our policy." "When did it start?" "It's always been this way." "No, it hasn't, I have been going here for 20 years." I have to give up. The final outrage, I had a gold crown replaced but with something else, their policy changed but they didn't tell me. They no longer do gold crowns. But didn't tell me this. Looking back, the waiting room seemed empty for all the visits this year. People where I work see other dentists and won't go back. I'm done. read more

Dr. Tran is the best dentist in town. He even answers the phone or will call you to let you know of any changes. The staff is always nice too. Adrianne and Sandra are always willing to answer questions and they always have a smile on their face. If Dr. Tran sees a small cavity he won't rush to do a filling and charge you or your insurance company for it. He will carefully watch it and advice accordingly. In case of an emergency they will try to get you in as soon as they can. Dr. Tran is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the procedure you're about to go into. I hate going to the dentist, since Dr. Tran is aware of this he tries to be understanding of my fear and shows empathy. This is the dentist to go to in Ridgecrest :) read more

I called today, August 12th to set up an appointment for a bad toothache that is possibly infected. I was told the soonest appointment was NOVEMBER 14th at 8am. My kids see Dr. Tran and he is very nice. He seems to be popular with the kids (most of his clients in the waiting room after school are kids) . I however and writing this on Dr.Ooi who I can't find on yelp. He is amazing ! Super gentle, incredibly nice. I even stopped in one day after noticing they were in and my tooth was hurting, he was working on an off day and just finished with another apt but took me back and wrote me a prescription for antibiotics and scheduled me for three days later all with no charge. I will never go to another dentist office and recommend all my friends here who all love it. The front staff is very nice and up to date with almost all situations in Ridgecrest ( base insurance, SVM insurance ect) they really know their stuff. read more

Dr. Jack Tran saw me on short notice after I took an elbow to the face playing basketball with some coworkers. One of my teeth were a little bit loose and Dr. Tran explained to me how he would stabilize that front tooth and how everything should work out. It's been 2 months now and that tooth is much better! Dr. Tran is awesome, there's no other way to put it. He has such a sweet and genuine way about him. For starters he pays attention while working on you. So, before you can even mention that you might be in pain, he stops to make sure you're okay. He also takes the time to talk about the procedure to eliminate any fear. Prior to seeing him my daughter was freaked about dentists, not anymore. And it's because of him, he's that good. Joy and the rest of the office staff is always cheerful and helpful. Even though they are appointment only for the most part, they do take emergencies. That's actually how we found them, they took us in the same day we called.
