1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more My wife had an 8:45 a.m. appointment specifically for a fasting blood draw. She took time off work and arrived fasting as instructed. Dr. Huang's assistant attempted to draw her blood four or five times but was unsuccessful, leaving multiple needle marks and bruising on both arms. My wife was actually very understanding and did not blame the assistant -- she understands that less experienced staff need opportunities to learn. She then asked if Dr. Huang could help with the blood draw. She waited until Dr. Huang finished with her patient, and at that point her next patient had not yet arrived. However, after hearing what had happened, Dr. Huang simply said she had other patients and did not have time, and told my wife to go to Quest instead. We found her response and attitude extremely dismissive and unprofessional. My wife had a scheduled appointment, had taken time off work, had been fasting, and had already gone through multiple unsuccessful needle sticks. She wasn't asking for special treatment -- she was simply asking the office to complete the service she had scheduled. She then drove to Quest, only to find that they were not accepting walk-ins and the wait would have been hours. In the end, she couldn't even complete her blood test that day. We understand that difficult blood draws happen. Our complaint is not about the unsuccessful blood draw -- it is about how Dr. Huang handled the situation afterward. We expected much more compassion, professionalism, and consideration from a physician. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we cannot recommend this office.

I was told I had a sinus infection and was advised to drink a lot of water. After following this advice, the next day at work I suddenly became extremely weak and experienced blurry vision. My husband took me to the emergency room instead of returning to her clinic. Blood tests were done immediately, and I was admitted to the ICU due to hyponatremia (low sodium levels in my blood). The hospital staff told me the timing was critical and that they saved my life. This happened seven years ago. I'm sharing my experience now so others can be aware and advocate for themselves if their symptoms persist or worsen.

Dr. J Nguyen is friendly, but when it comes to standard of care, she needs improvement. I have had multiple physicals by various physicians (PCPs or from my past work's in-house Physician, or change of providers). With my new insurance, I was assigned Dr. Nguyen. During my physical, she barely assessed me. She placed the stethoscope ontop of my clothing (the MAs did not offer a gown), she did not wash her hands on front of me (or even use the hand sanitizer) she did not properly exam me. I was not asked any of the traditional or standard questions I've been asked by other Physicians. Given that I'm a new patient, I would expect a more through health history assessment or more questions to be asked- they are lacking OR they simply don't care. There is an abundance of plants in the lobby area, some are dying- not well taken care of. The magazines in the waiting area are old and outdated. The fish tank in the lobby area needs to be cleaned. First impression yells out "sloppy and unattended". There are stacks of PAPER chart in the back as they have not gone electronic. By 2018, I believe there is a law to be electronic for medical records, at least that is what is expected in a SNF, acute, and assisted living. Maybe clinics are an exception? Either way, they are clearly behind in their charting and the clinic is in dire need of TLC. The chairs are torn, the floor needs sweeping and so much more. As for the exam room- it feels like a dirty closet. The area to draw your blood is dark, cold, and cluttered. I wish I was assigned another provider so I will be looking to change providers to someone who actually takes the time to get a better health background. Also, the doctor went on vacation so the one in her replacement would not take new patients. Therefore, you would not only have to wait until she returns, but she would be completely booked when she did return. Overall, I've had multiple providers, as my insurance changes, therefore so does my provider. This place would be at last place.

Dr Liang is not the type of physician that you want. He uses his Chinese to pull in a large Chinese…read morepatient population, and then defers on all decision making and chooses to refer to specialists or ER for all encounters. Otherwise, he only pursues health maintenance care (vaccines, screening tests/labs), which does not require an MD to know when to do those things. Those guidelines are clearly written online, all you need to do is look it up. I would highly recommend against pursuing Liang with Dr Liang. I have heard several stories first hand of terrible patient encounters. My heart goes out to those under his care.
