My parents had been seeing their previous primary care physicians for over three decades, but recently, the service became unacceptable. Dealing with outdated office systems--like being forced to physically pick up a paper referral in 2026, was incredibly frustrating. I had been encouraging my parents to give Dr. Le and Dr. Do a shot because I knew how impressive their practices were. They are modern, tech-savvy, younger physicians who leverage the latest technology to enhance patient care, which I find incredibly important. My parents finally made the switch, and they had their first visit today (June 4th, 2026). Dr. J Nguyen is friendly, but when it comes to standard of care, she needs improvement. I have had multiple physicals by various physicians (PCPs or from my past work's in-house Physician, or change of providers). With my new insurance, I was assigned Dr. Nguyen. During my physical, she barely assessed me. She placed the stethoscope ontop of my clothing (the MAs did not offer a gown), she did not wash her hands on front of me (or even use the hand sanitizer) she did not properly exam me. I was not asked any of the traditional or standard questions I've been asked by other Physicians. Given that I'm a new patient, I would expect a more through health history assessment or more questions to be asked- they are lacking OR they simply don't care. There is an abundance of plants in the lobby area, some are dying- not well taken care of. The magazines in the waiting area are old and outdated. The fish tank in the lobby area needs to be cleaned. First impression yells out "sloppy and unattended". There are stacks of PAPER chart in the back as they have not gone electronic. By 2018, I believe there is a law to be electronic for medical records, at least that is what is expected in a SNF, acute, and assisted living. Maybe clinics are an exception? Either way, they are clearly behind in their charting and the clinic is in dire need of TLC. The chairs are torn, the floor needs sweeping and so much more. As for the exam room- it feels like a dirty closet. The area to draw your blood is dark, cold, and cluttered. I wish I was assigned another provider so I will be looking to change providers to someone who actually takes the time to get a better health background. Also, the doctor went on vacation so the one in her replacement would not take new patients. Therefore, you would not only have to wait until she returns, but she would be completely booked when she did return. Overall, I've had multiple providers, as my insurance changes, therefore so does my provider. This place would be at last place.

I have made appointments to see her for a few things and am very pleased. Her office in Milpitas is very close to our house, so it saves me from driving to the PAMF in Fremont. My wife and I have received our Hepatitis A Vaccine and both of us have received our 2nd dose of the Hepatitis B Vaccine. We'll receive our third and final Hepatitis B vaccine near the end of the year. While receiving my second dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine, I also had Dr. Qian look at my right ring finger, since it was swollen and warm to the touch. Their lab drew my blood and Dr. Qian called me the next day and told me it was Gout. My sons have Gout, but it's in their feet. I didn't know you can get Gout in your finger, but it makes sense, since it's a digit. She prescribed a prescription and I filled it that day. It's been two days and my fingers feels better and the swelling has reduced. I'm very happy I made the appointment. Dr. Qian and her entire staff are friendly and very helpful.

There are several doctors and healthcare providers under this group which allows patients to have more access to care. Personally, I don't have any major health issues, so it's not a big deal if I don't see the same doctor for every visit. However, it's frustrating when I get asked about my condition from previous visits because I'm seeing a different doctor. Not saying it's not relevant for them to ask but there's lack of knowledge built from having an existing relationship with your patient. I could easily just go to another clinic and it wouldn't make a difference. On top of that, the office staff are not friendly and it's so off-putting interacting with them. While I thought all the healthcare providers in this office are decent, I prefer to have a consistent PCP.
