Scheduled my wax, and the day of my appointment I had to schedule for a baby sitter and canceled an overtime shift to come for my very first wax appointment. I showed up and waited 10 minutes until I reached out, to which she stated she didn't have my contact information to let me know she couldn't make it. Wanted to get a lash lift cause let's be honest I'm a minimalist - hehe we said not to use the word "lazy" - and I like to roll out of bed and go. So far my lashes are on point, I rubbed my eyes the night of by accident and they're still good! I was in and out in 30 and I love that she talks you through the process - I'm going to touch your lid now - you'll feel pressure - changing my gloves to set the timer... all professionals should do this and it's a habit that most people lose so thank you for doing this, made me feel so much at ease even though I've had lash lifts before. We talked more about her other services and I will be setting up a wax soon - just HELLA nervous since I haven't had one in years and I've also been curious about lightening so I might go for a 2fer. She accepts cash, Venmo, Visa which is really nice. Music is vibing and the AC is blowing so it's comfy in the room. I booked an appointment after seeing all the good reviews on Yelp but ended up very disappointed. She texted me the day of my appointment asking if it was possible to move it to a much later time. I told her I wasn't available later and she completely ghosted me after that. She did not show up to the appointment at all and did not answer when I called and texted. Came here for a Brazilian wax and heard about the studio through Classpass. Crista was absolutely the best - I was in and out within 15 minutes for Brazilian wax and it was definitely one of the least painful waxes I have had. Entrance to the studio is off Mohawk and Rosemead and you take the stairs up to the entrance of Q3. Don't let the building fool you, the studio was clean and spotless and super cute with pink everywhere. I highly recommend! read more

ve been going to Christa at Wax Room LA for a few years now and absolutely love her! I recently tried her new Dermalogica Nano Fusion Facial, and wow -- my skin has never been this soft. So I was googling for best eyebrow place in Pasadena and came across The Wax Room LA. Saw that it had really good reviews so I decided to bring my 13 yr old daughter. Since she's never had her eyebrows waxed I wanted to make sure I took her somewhere good. I came across this place and omg I so glad I came.
