I needed a cheaper alternative than 200 plus to replace a car door handle. I called Tran's after finding the garage on yelp. I was quoted way less than the other major dealerships. He told me to come anything to get it replace. I came on Thursday. Let me tell you, they were packed with cars. A good sign right. The process was only going to take 30 to 45 minutes. My family and I have been going to Tran's Auto Body for years and I have been a customer since I got my first car many years ago. I took my black Mustang in to get white over spray removed and I was assured that it could be removed. I called to see if my car was ready and I was told it was. When I got there, my car still had white over it and when I asked, the Caucasian man told me that it was rock chips.... I haven't driven my car and it's been in the garage so that's not true. To my surprise, my quote went from 80 to double that for no reason, especially if there wasn't extra time or services provided to fix my car. There is still compound left over my car and someone should have told me they couldn't fix it and my car wasn't fine. We decided to try Trans shop because it had wonderful ratings already. I called to make an appointment but it was a couple of days away so I messaged him to ask for a quote. I sent some photos of the damage and within the hour he had responded with a reasonable quote along with repair options. The shop area is small and could possibly be hard to find but no big deal if you can follow signs. I wasn't able to bring it in until a few days later but he remembered our conversation immediately and took care of the vehicle as promised. After the completion he followed up and even asked if we needed a ride to come pick the car up. Overall he had a great response time and offered fair prices for quality work. This place blew my mind, the had my car in and out in less then two weeks.... I was expecting to have to wait longer then that since I had to wait almost a month in a half on some hail damage I had a few months back by another company who ended up taking long because they kept calling the Insurance company for more work to get done on it so they could make more money.. My family and I moved to Dallas Texas in 2007 and had a difficult time finding a good honest Auto repair shop that worked on luxury vehicles. A Co-worker referred me to Tran's Auto in Arlington Texas to repair a dent and paint my S-Class Mercedes Benz. Simply put, Huu is amazing. Don't go ANYWHERE else for body work! I got in my first accident recently and immediately took my car to Huu's shop. This was on a late Thursday evening. I had to have quite a few things replaced on my car, but by Friday morning I got a call that everything was fixed! Less than 2 days! He also has the BEST PRICES in town. Absolutely impressive work is being done at Tran's. This is my first time to Tran's but not my first time in a body shop. This shop is the best without exception. Here are the things that Tran's Auto Body did that no other body shop has been able to do: 1.) Set an appointment time and keep it. 2.) Provide an amount of time for the work to be completed and hit the mark. 3.) Provide an accurate, fair estimate. 4.) Have the estimate be the final price. 5.) Communicate clearly via email and or phone providing me updates before I asked. 6.) Did not miss anything at all. 7.) Will not need to return the car to the shop for something missed. Of those 7 points above, none of the 5 previous body shops that I have used in my life nailed all of them. The shops that I used in the past were car dealer shops, local independent and national franchise. Moat actually hit none of the 7 points. But what about the work? Tran's provided the best I've seen. I had to have the hood, a fender, a quarter panel, roof, trim work and window replaced. I had to have two doors and a hatch fixed. The car is as smooth as from the showroom floor and the paint is flawlessly blended into the existing paint. It is impossible to see where the work was done. Blending is hard and it's also hard to keep the waves out of the paint when doing so. This shop did it. Only one shop in my life had been comparable in skill. Body work and painting is a skill. A couple of things to note. The shop isn't like the national franchises with customer seating, espresso machines and a receptionist. Its a pure body shop that isn't pleasing to the eye. But what I noticed first was the amount of cars out front which could be an indicator of good work. The second thing was talking with Huu for the estimate. He looked the car over and talked me through every part identifying what would need replacement and what he could do. He climbed all over the car with great detail and very seasoned explanation. Within a few minutes, I had a quote. So my thoughts were that a) this guy is really experienced and all the cars shows that he's good or b) this guy is going to rip me off and these stacked up cars are a witness. I trusted my gut, Yelp! and Google and went with him. It was a great decision. The bottom line is that Tran's Auto Body does good honest work. The people are clearly invested in the business. The body guys, paint guys and finishers are talented. Do not hesitate to use Tran's Auto Body. read more

Got rear ended and was worried about the damage. Looked on yelp and found Huu and the trans auto team. They are very friendly and responsive, but more important they know insurance. The bumper needed to be replaced and i wanted OEM parts only. Luckily the rear ender had allstate which has no problem with OEM parts. Had the claim been filed with my farmers insurance after market or used parts would have been used, No OEM parts unless you have an OEM rider. Needless to say there was an OEM rider on the vehicles about 5 minutes after that little factoid was shared. So not only perfect work on the car, and customer service that goes the extra mile... I needed some body work done on a Toyota 4Runner & I was tired of the poor service I received at the big-name body shops the insurance company steered me to so I did a little web-surfing. My search (mostly on Yelp but reinforced by Google) led me to Tran's Auto Body in central Arlington. The shop is a bit hard to find and it doesn't look like much but don't let that fool you. They do excellent work and they stand behind their work. Derek wrote up the initial estimate and we negotiated a drop off date. He treated me very nicely and was very professional. When I picked up the vehicle I got to meet Huu. He's just as nice as Derek. We reviewed the work (excellent) settled the bill & he took the opportunity to remind me that the work is guaranteed. My car was hit by my own house's back back door during a windy day when it blew open leaving a long white scratch on my black car and fairly big dent.
