Great experience taking my car here. I had driven over something in the road which had ripped part of the casing off the bottom and tore the wires on my turn signals and rear headlights. What a mess! Frank and his guys took a look at it for free and gave me a very accurate estimate of how much time and money it would take. Price was very reasonable and they were really easy to deal with. Overall just very pleasant experience. And it was fun to find out that Frank is a fellow Irish guy from Boston. Definitely will be back again if I need them. read more

This place charges $90 an hour for labor-kind of ridiculous. Granted they did warn me about my struts going bad and they were right about my air filter needing changed. It wound up being like $200 to get my filter and like new fluids in my car. They told me my struts for just front were going to like $1000, when I wound up getting both done somewhere else for that much for front and rear. I have a 10-year-old car, and my husband's car is five years old but with high mileage. Regardless, I don't have to worry because we found this business. We moved here in December, and it is always hard to find an honest car place. But I did the work for you. I found this place, and it is golden. They are honest and hardworking people with TONS of repeat customers, which says something about a business. I sat in there a couple times while waiting for my car, and they are so friendly, polite, professional, and helpful to everyone who walks through their door. (They also have business cards of people they have vested that are sitting on a table for the taking, in case you need an insurance agent, landscaper, etc.) I don't really have any complaints. It is in a good location (on Bell near Cave Creek Rd.). However, you likely wouldn't want to wait here with your children because the waiting area is small. Also, the bathrooms are not recently remodeled for those of you who have bathroom phobias/standards. If you are wondering if they have free snacks or coffee while you are waiting, the answer is NO. But remember that this is about your car, not you. :) You can get these things at a dealership waiting area, but you will pay more than twice as much for the same work. They had one of my cars overnight for an A/C issue. When I picked it up, they said they found nothing (and charged me nothing). Yet the A/C was working again. So they may be more than Car Whisperers. They may actually be Car Healers. :) Stay away from the dealers, and go to the Car Healers = Feeney Automotive on Bell. :) read more

My husband brought his Harley Davidson in to have the tires replaced. He was told he could wait, It should have taken an hour at the most ended up taking 5 hours. . He noticed that the mechanic was removing parts that didn't need to be removed.. Then when he got home the front tire popped. He called and they said to bring it back. Obviously he can't ride it with a flat tire. They gave him 2 tow company phone numbers. The first one doesn't do towing anymore and the second one couldn't come until the next day at 8:30am. Then he had to get a ride to get it. The owner who he has known for many years seemed more concerned that he had to pay for a tow.. although his tire prices were low, it ended up costing twice as much as the highest price with all the time off work and Uber etc. Will never use or recommend them again. read more

I was looking at a car I wanted to buy and figured I'd get it checked before I signed anything. I called Feeney auto on Friday and asked to set up an appointment for tomorrow (Saturday). We set up the appointment for tomorrow at 3:30. I go all the way to the dealership, test drive the car, and bring it to Feeney at 3:30 just to find out they aren't even open on Saturday's?? How do you schedule an appointment at the place you work at on a day your business isn't even open. Truly unprofessional and ridiculous. Wondering if these people are on drugs because that is not normal. A true waste of my time. read more

We have been customers of Feeney Automotive for 15 years. Last December 2012 my son took his Corvette in to have the Distributor replaced. We bought a brand new one from O'Reillys and brought it to them and had them perform the labor. A month later the Distributor threw a code, we took it back and the technician said it was bad and that it needed to be replaced. They said it would cost about $300 in labor to replace it. We decided to wait. This week my son decided to pull the distributor out himself and fix it. He took it apart and the Distributor which should have been gold and and have a steel label GM05 RPT on it did not. It was black and the GM05 was not there. We took it to O'Reilly and they said this was not theirs. We called Feeney's and he told us to send him pictures which we did. He said his mechanic worked for him for 16 years and he trusted him and did not know what to say. He called me back after looking at the history and said he was positive they put the new distributor in and was confounded. I sent him more pictures and pulled all the receipts. The Distributor installed was NOT the one we bought. O'Reillys replaced the Distributor, even though they did not have to, for free. At least someone stepped up to the plate. I called other family members, and found out that my father brought in my sisters' wheelchair van a few months back and was told the cost for repair would be $35 and was billed for $90 only to find out later the work was not done. He went somewhere else for repair. My brother brought a car to them and had several thousand dollars of work done, and again the same thing, work was said to have been done but wasn't. We believe the owner is honest but puts far to much trust into his mechanic who I honestly think is ripping people off. Stealing parts and reselling them for personal gain. I also went to file a complaint with the BBB of Arizona and they do not have record of this company on their site. I am so very disappointed and upset. Tomorrow I will have to spend the day with my son helping fix his distributor to get his car up to spec. I have known the owner for a long time as a friend and as a mechanic and am terribly disappointed in his response and his handling of this situation. read more

I wrenched myself backin the day so im bright when it comes to vehicles just dont wrench anymore, these guys are fantastic, they dont charge to diagnose the car which is huge and they are straight forward with everything they do, the owner,Frank and his son Franics are class acts as well as Chris the service advisor. all great people and they are very fast on the work they do and I would highly recommend them, I have been screwed over by other shops in the past and they completely make me feel comfortable eventhough I just bought a BMW LOL. read more

My experience with Feeney Auto was wonderful. I hit a metal object while driving on the freeway because I couldn't safely avoid it- this happened on Monday morning. The metal sheet punctured a hole in my gas tank, so I had my car towed to Feeney because I had heard from my boss that they are very experienced and reasonable as far as pricing. My car was towed to them on Monday afternoon, and Chris (up front) was very helpful in letting me know what was going to happen and what needed to be done. He said the parts needed would take about a week to get to them. I then got a call from the owner Frank on Thursday (three days later) letting me know that my car was all done. He had worked with my claims adjustor so the costs were already all taken care of, and all I had to do was come by and get my car. All the guys there at the shop were great and I really appreciate the personal service. I highly recommend them to anyone. read more
