I wrote a review about this establishment during my previous Yelp membership. Unfortunately, I'm guessing when you delete your account, it takes all of your reviews with it. That sucks because I've written some great reviews but I digress. Trapeze was my Wal-Mart of adult entertainment. I'm a one-stop shop kind of girl so I enjoyed being able to eat, drink, watch TV, listen to music, mingle with people, lounge around, dance, get wet, sleep, get wet for real, get some ass, and start all over again. The atmosphere was comfortable and the venue didn't remind you of a seedy hotel. I was actually pretty plush with a spacious front area, a mingle area with decent sofas and chairs, comfy private areas (some with lockable doors for real privacy) and others with curtains, a decent lounge and billiards area towards the back and plenty of pool and jacuzzi room. Ok.... so: the liquor stores on Saturday... including beer CLOSE AT 1200am. So you can't even TIP the bartender into giving you a drink from an old bottle. Make sure you bring your stuff. The food here is legit. The best I've seen. You are pretty much paying for dinner cause they have such a good spread. Come here hungry if you wish. And they have breakfast as it turns to morning! The lockers don't require you to bring your own lock. They have "locker people" to unlock and lock the lockers. There are hot tubs. Yaasss. The one weird thing.... everyone walks around in a towel in the play area. The women wrap it like a dress. The men on their waist.... the other lounges we've been to didn't allow this. My wife and I been wanting to try Trapeze out and finally went. We made 2 different trips there, both on a Saturday night. Was very put off by how many single men was actually there and gawking in the back area rubbing on themselves while standing over us and other couples. Felt like road kill laying in the road and crows flying around us. And men supposed to be full nude or towel only but that wasn't the case either. Seen almost every single guy still wearing their underwear and some shirts on as well. So I can see why most reviews we been seeing has said this place is going downhill. We will not be going back at all and would not recommend this place to anybody. We did enjoy how the club is setup but with all the single men that are allowed to roam free to anywhere on a Saturday night, when they are not supposed to be allowed, it is not what Trapeze advertises. So it would seem the management needs to actually pay attention and handle this situation cause it has caused a tremendous problem and running alot of good customers away. read more

My husband surprised me for our 6th year anniversary last year. This was our first time here...and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food they serve during the evening was delicious as well as the breakfast. The bartender staff is really friendly, which they get paid to be but also personal. Since our first visit, we have been over 10 times. We recently celebrated Halloween and I participated in the costume concert, which was very fun. We enjoy each there only and just like to talk and mingle with other couples. We enjoy our alone time in the private rooms, but I wish they would add ceiling fans, because it can get very hot in there. read more

We just went this past Fri and Sat. Very disappointed, they have a number of problems that need addressed, or they are headed down the tubes like the Loft. As soon as you walk in, you're hit heat. A/C has been broken for 5 weeks and those poor girls are working in 85 degree heat. On Sat the busiest of the 2 days and only had 2 bartenders working. The biggest problem is lack of rule enforcement and employee problems. The biggest offender is the skinny guy with dreds.. he monitors the back room and he frequently is missing or as we saw he was playing pool with the guests. He also allowed friends to break the rules. Both nights there were fully dressed singles and couples in the back area. Very few people were playing, most were overdressed (towels, nude or lingerie) are all that are permitted. The lockers are a disaster! They had one guy working who spent a lot of time in the locker area bullshitting and playing grab ass with some of his friends. Customers were getting pissed! The locker line was from the desk out to the dance floor! Totally unacceptable. We play with single guys and couples so the high number of single guys isnt a problem but they get too aggressive to the point that we left. Take your time and open your mind - Trapeze is the safest and easiest place to experiment with relationship boundaries and fantasies. Everyone we've met in this lifestyle has professed an huge improvement in their relationship after exploring more openness. We're giving it 5 stars because it was the front-door to an entirely new and awesome relationship together. Here's our first experience at Trapeze, because we assume if you're reading a Yelp review, you are looking at going for the first time. My husband and I we're so busy parenting & working for the past 18 years, we had completely disconnected. Faced with the empty nest, we looked at life beyond parenting, and conversations led to us rekindling a virtually non-existent sex life. Things heated up at home for a few months, and then my husband suggested we check out this "club". Our plan was to just go, watch, and maybe make out in a dark corner. We chose to go on a Saturday night because they don't allow single men. I was very nervous the night we arrived. We took a bottle of Titos with us, gave it to the front-desk who delivered it to the bar. We registered and payed the fees, and they let us in. Again, it was terrifying...I tried not to make eye contact with anyone. I was having massive case of "stranger danger" amongst the scary swingers. We went to the bar, and each quickly downed a couple vodka tonics. The bartenders were amazingly friendly. We then walked around to check out the club. There was a buffet that was serving prime rib and amazing looking dishes. I couldn't eat (but I can now confirm the food is shockingly good considering it's a sex club). We stood near the dance floor and began people-watching. It was such a sexy scene - mostly aged 30-50 with the majority being mid-40s like us. The women were mostly dressed in short mini-dresses and then men were either in slacks or stylish jeans and button-down shirts. There was an indescribable energy in the room. As we watched, we started talking to nice couple - she was in healthcare and he was in sales - completely dissolved our belief that everyone there was some sort of pornstar or stripper. Actually, as most of the patrons looked like our neighbors, yet confidently wore sexy attire, the vibe was way sexier. The couple offered to give us a tour of the rest of the club. We all went back to the locker room where people were undressing and wrapping themselves in towels. Thank goodness for the cocktails - I was nervous to disrobe in a coed locker room. We then followed them into the play area. There was another bar, and we asked to have our vodka brought back from the front. The couple walked us around, showed us the different rooms and play areas, and explained the rules for the "open-play" areas. "There's rules!" - I started to relax. The couple then sat on a bench and started having sex with each other. It was shocking. My husband started getting frisky with me, but I was feeling "exposed", and we asked if this couple would walk back to a more private area. We found another bench and my husband and I started enjoying ourselves while watching the other couple. The woman (gorgeous) asked if she could kiss me. I thought "why not?". She then asked her husband, and my husband if it was ok. In other words, she made it clear to everyone knew it was ok. This helped me relax even more. In retrospect, they knew we were first-timers and used this communication style to put me at ease, ensure consent, and prevent any drama. My husband was in shock while this woman and I had even more sexy fun together. I was shocked as well - I'd never done anything like this, but in that moment, it was fun and sensual with no pressure from the couple to do anything else. After a while, we went home, and for the next week, our sex life was electric. Since this night, we've been a few more times. There's a another club within Trapeze called the Diamond Club. It's a 5-star club with room attendants and made-to-order food. It's 2x the door fee and worth it. The crowd has a lot of regulars and can sometimes feel cliquish, but just say hi - everyone is friendly if you make an effort. The existence of the Diamond Club seems to split the demographics like coach & business class in an international flight. So while the main club might seem to have an average clientele, there's an entirely different crowd in the Diamond Club. The good news is that most Diamond Club patrons come out to the main dance floor and mix with everyone. Note that after 1:00 am, there's an influx of people coming from neighboring bars / strip clubs. They're mostly people there to get down with their spouse/gf in an open environment. Tip: Go early before it gets crowded. The staff can give you a tour if it's early enough. read more

Went on a Friday night. So that may factor into what we experienced this time as I usually always did this on a Saturday night. We were weekending in ATL on our way back home and my new g/f wanted to see what it was like. I had been here before a few years back. I had remembered it from my previous times there and told here about it, based on my previous visits. It has changed a good bit since then. In 2 major ways. Its about half the size it once was. And it has gone to simple basic rooms. No themes. No sheets. The new couples only room is off to the side. Just a bunch of rubber covered I guess you can call it mattresses. There is a still a group sex platform in the center of the main room. There were to 2 voyeur rooms. Then there was nothing more than simple plain rooms with doors on them. There wasn't enough rooms to have many available to use. Then when someone previous has used it, you are supposed to use a spray disinfectant with no towels or materials to wipe it up with. That wasn't the case before. So you have that factor to consider. We were forced to use a Voyeur room in which we just drew the curtains to get our freak on in private. Which leads us to change number 2 since my previous visits. There used to be very few single men, and the few that were there were pretty respectful. This etiquette has deteriorated a good bit since my last visits. In addition to them smoking in a Non Smoking area which wasn't pleasant, if I go to the restroom, or to get drink refills, my girl gets men lining up to proposition her. She said no and that worked for the time being. Then upon my return, the round two of "Do we play with other men" became my line of questioning. A No was taken into account but the hovering remained throughout the evening. Or they would stay at a distance and play with themselves while staring at her. Creeped my g/f out. Then having no other rooms to choose from we went into the Voyeur room and drew the curtain and locked the door behind us. The door was knocked on numerous times. Which wasn't unexpected as everyone is checking the doors to find an open room. But that then progressed to men tapping on the window that was covered by the drawn curtain. Not just once, but probably 6 times in the the first few minutes. This became a major distraction and turn off for us both. Then when we finally emerged from the room, the men asked if they could join us in the next round. They were kind of congregating around our door, she had little choice but to walk past them to get some distance between us and them. They made crude comments about how she needed to learn to live it up more and see what they'd be like. My g/f is normally a pretty sedate demeanor when it comes to dramas. She avoids the situation rather than address a drama. I knew she was getting way past enjoying herself when she began to verbally defend herself and her interest to these men. I don't wish to make this a racially motivated response but I'll leave it at, no one of our race was making the comments, however all races were annoying us with the knocking on the windows and congregating around us/her. There was one other incident that didn't bode well. She went on to the dance floor once and one guy who was dancing with a woman, immediately placed his back to the woman he was there dancing with and propositioned her. After a prompt and obvious NO from my G/F, his lady then had some choice words for him when he turned back around. This type stuff NEVER happened before. You never disrespect who you are with to pursue someone else. That was a pretty disappointing display on his part. I'll chalk that up to a new guy that didn't know his way around too well and hope it was an exception. My g/f was not expecting any of this based on my past times there. I had to apologize to her for the discomfort caused. It may still be the best club in ATL, and it still offers some fun for newer types that have nothing to compare it with. But its good days seem to be behind them now. read more

My wife and I were passing through Atlanta and have heard about this place before so on a whim we decided to stop in. We were much shorter on time than we would have liked so we didn't get to the club until about 11:15. It was a Saturday and it was a pretty decent crowd; I'd say about 100 people. The food was good, though they were winding down the dinner by the time we got in. They switch over to breakfast at about 12. It was kind of tough getting a drink at the bar when the crowd was good out front, which kind of sucks since you brought your own booze. There was still a good crowd in the front area when we got in, but it started to thin fast. It was kind of awkward for the first hour or two because we didn't know anyone there. It would have been better if we could have gotten there by 9 or 10. By 12:30, we were one of maybe 5 couples still out there. Everyone else went to the back, so we decided to join. As for demographics, I concur with the reviewer that said this was multi-ethnic. I'd say 60% black, 35% white, 5% of other races. Ages seemed to be in the 30's primarily, but there were some much older. All body types, from skinny, to jacked, to bigger folks. In the back, most were in towels, some fully nude. It was still a little awkward at first, but we started to loosen up after 30 minutes. Expect to see a lot of boobs. Nobody harassed us and almost nobody talked to us. People are cool with you watching them and have no problem stopping to watch what you have going on. And there was quite a bit going on in the back, from oral to full on sex. By 2 am, the two orgy rooms were pretty full of people getting it on. We did have several couples post up next to us and they ended up reaching a hand out to caress the wife's leg or arm. The ones we weren't into, we just politely slipped away and went to another area. Everyone was pretty cool. One note, the pool and hot tubs are gone. Pretty sure I saw them advertised on their website so they ought to update that because the guy said they were gone two years ago. Bartenders and aids wee friendly, helpful, and professional. First of all, if going to Trapeze you have to realize what type of club this is. It is a club for free spirited individuals who are more openly sexual than the average joe. This is a private membership club, and to attend you must buy a membership (about $25 a month) and then pay the nightly entrance fee (varies by day of the week and if you're a single male, female, or a couple). The club has two main areas, the front club/bar/dining/dancing area and then the back area. The club area is nicely decorated with two separate bars, a dance floor with video monitors mounted above (and a pole for the athletic types), and the dining area consisting of several tables. As part of the entry fee, all food and drinks are included. The menu changes each night, but I must say the food quality is outstanding. There are usually a couple different vegetable dishes, a few meat choices and then a carving station with beef, ham, etc. Four or five different salads are typical, and a varied dessert station with fruit, pastries, cakes, and many other choices. This is not standard buffet fare, it is made by a talented chef and it shows. There are attendants at the food area to plate your food, then also attendants who will pick up your plates when you're finished in the dining area. Later in the evening, the dinner food is replaced with breakfast food, a very nice touch. The dance area is not huge but it's nice with seating all around and some light effects that accompany the music. In terms of alcohol, Trapeze is a BYOB establishment. You bring whatever liquor you like and they store it in their bar area and staff will prepare whatever drinks you like from it. The club provides all of the mixers, soda, garnish etc for your drinks, and there is no corkage fee. Members are encouraged to tip the bar-tending staff but that's the only additional charge and it's well worth it. The staff across the board are very professional and nice and do their best to service the patrons quickly. The back area is where it gets interesting, especially for the uninitiated. This area provides a locker room and an attendant who will lock and unlock the lockers for guests. The locker room is co-ed, and guests are required to wear either a towel, or nothing. For the ladies, they do allow lingerie instead of the towel. Outside the locker room, there are multiple small rooms with beds and linens, some private and some not. There are larger rooms with multiple beds as well, and various couches and chairs. Further back, there are three hot tubs which seat 4-6 people each. If you haven't figured out by now, this entire area is for sexual activity and you will see plenty if you go back there, especially later in the evening. The area is kept very clean and has always been attended by staff the times we were there. There is an additional bar in the back area and you can request to have your alcohol brought back there by staff if you prefer. The vibe is very respectful and we have never been propositioned or even approached by others. The club does not tolerate any harassment, and even single ladies can feel secure that they are in a safe environment. We've not been on evenings when single males were allowed in (some nights are couples only), so that might change the dynamic somewhat. If you choose to engage with your partner in one of the public areas, chances are more likely than not that you'll pick up spectators. As mentioned, there are more private rooms available also, so it's just a matter of personal preference. There is no pressure to do anything however, so one could simply engage in voyeurism if so desired. The crowd skews in the 40ish range, though there were people of all ages and sizes on the Saturday night we were there. All in all, I'm very impressed with how this club is set up and operated. Very professional and respectful, and a cut above most clubs. Even if all you want to do is come eat dinner, dance and have some drinks the price is well worth it to me. If you want to get adventurous, you have that option as well as a bonus. Highly recommended. read more

Ok, so I have always been quite curious about the swinger's lifestyle and this is my first occasion of it. I had read on the website the prices for your membership and they were a bit steep for a single male, obviously trying to get more females in the door, so decided to invite a friend that was open minded that just happened to be a female to save some money. It ended up being 4 of us, all friends, 2 guys and 2 girls. This is one of the craziest places that I have ever been. It is considered to be a "Private Membership Club" which allows you to bring your own booze. They put your # right on a sticker on your particular bottle. There are a couple of different bars and you just ask the tender to move it from location to location. Beyond the curtains and the huge fish bowl of condoms is where the magic happens. The themes are abundant but the ass seems to be a little redundant. There are many regulars there who tend to keep to their kind but after a few drinks it eases the tension for the "virgins". Ok, so here's the real, honest deal. My spouse and I went on a weekend night, and everything we had read about was true. To set the right tone for this review, we're in our early 40's, Caucasian city folks with average body types. The staff in this nondescript office park building make you feel safe and discreet. The other patrons came in all shapes, sizes and colors. And there are literally people having sex...right there in the open. No one made us feel uncomfortable, and we weren't propositioned, other than being invited into a private room to "watch". Expect to see people hanging around, people eating, hanging out in the jacuzzis and of course, boning. A few tips- no need to dress up as it's a no-clothes zone in the play area. Also, bring slippers or socks to cover your feet on the carpet. Keep in mind it's BYOB so get something to bring with you if you need to loosen up (we didn't, but we were just fine). My experience was great.. Liked the club, loved the atmosphere. The only thing I would like to complain about is the bartendar. Her name is Marissa? First time at this club, loved until she gave me attitude. At first she was polite, until I said something and it was taken the wrong way. Either way, I've worked as a bartendar in a fast paced up scaled restaraunt, have dealt with many chaotic clientele, and she did not handle ANYTHING correctly. Just left this place parked in what it appeared to be a 2 parking for Trapeze 4470 Commerce dr. SW atl and got my car broken into along with 13 other cars. Was just stopping through from another state. I don't understand how nobody saw or heard anything esp when they have security watching the lot next to where we parked. Laptop, camera and and rifels where stolen. The suspect mainly targeted newer cars which all have alarms.. Some are calling it an inside job.. Did not bother to reimburse but mentioned how they have a damn sign that says park at your own risk. Really wished I would have just went home. Based off previous reviews I thought this was going to be a night to remember upon my visit to ATL.. Well it was, but not what I expected it to be. Let's start off by the basics of my Sat night visit: Location: Not exactly in the nicest areas, but what did you expect for this type discrete club? It's fairly secluded and I was happy with the valet complementary parking. Entrance: I was nicely greeted by an African American slim beauty but then was handed over to a Caucasian woman who seemed to be running the front desk show. She seemed initially professional but quickly turned into a robot who treated you more like you were a empty sack of meat during questioning and then going for the jugular by digging for your personal information (bye bye John Doe..) and any personal details they can obtain on you.. (she blamed poor previous management..) That night they offered a small discount which was only obtained by previously signing up on another website which i did but had to jump hoops prior to them honoring it. Man.. Since I came with a date I tried HARD to keep myself in the mood for things to come... but I was allowed entrance and i continued my night... as was told for your attire you are provided a locker with the staff doing the opening and closing the locker for you.. (note:bring sandals or something for your feet.. it can get wet and cold!) Setup: Upon entering, it had a decent typical club setup, with plenty of lounge areas for potentially meeting a couple that you might fancy, strip pole, buffet, and byob bar service.. pretty standard and decent. People: Very average crowd.. definitely mixed with plenty of races, body shapes and a lot of sizes... I can appreciate that.. Mood/ Atmosphere: Please, please do something about the DJ.. so much potential but the LOUD techno...Euro... mixed with few splashes of Latin music didn't really do anything to the crowd as 95% avoided the main dance area.. due to nothing to work with and hard to get a potential conversation going.. definitely bring your A game to work some magic here since the music is working against you.. As you proceed to the "special areas".. it kind of seemed like a fest of people going about their personal business but not with any chemistry with others.. I think the lack of "play" rooms might have taken the spice out of it... so as I continued to wander the floor I noticed a door that I needed a PASSCODE to get into... but naturally I looked through the window and saw that the atmosphere passed the door was more elegant with an older crowd on the other side.. After sometime.. someone who apparently was in the "know" prior to entering their code.. said to us.. "This is for DIAMOND members ONLY... for an additional $80"... wait a min.. you mean the over $100+ charge i initially spent only got me into the BASIC package of the place.. there's another HIGHER END to this place for those willing to fork out more $$$... ? really? after seeing the older folk beyond those doors.. now that my mojo was gone.. i decided to just walk around with my drop dead gorgeous friend had a drink a little fun with our drinks and decided we may have more fun elsewhere outside this place.. Summary: The energy at this location has nothing on it's sister location in Orlando.. but with that said.. it has plently of potential on any given night.. if you BRING the right crowd with you.. it might be a night to remember... otherwise.. my recommendation would be to go only if your aware this could be definitely a hit or miss.. and prepared for the lady at the front desk ready to dissect your personal info.... but in all it's up to what you make it..! read more

Wow, what a blast! I will start with the bad, the pool and hot tub area is closed for renovation (apparently turning it into more play rooms). This is not mentioned on the website & there was no discount off of the cover. Speaking of the cover, $50 2 month membership plus $80 fee for a couple. We went on a Saturday night to avoid single men... The place was packed, dance floor full of attractive people dancing in various stages if undress. By 2 a.m. everyone dancing was in a towel or less... We were happy with the crowd, some very attractive people and everyone was having fun. We did not see any unhappy people the entire night, a very stress free environment. Layout is nice, front room has a buffet, a couple of bats and a dance floor. Locker area in the middle and play area beyond. As for the play, it was a full fledged orgy, amazing! read more

Please dont waste your time here ! There are better places to hook up than this place. There are 2 main reasons for this: 1) The fee is too high when you compare to the fun that that claim. Esp for the single man. I was there on a Thurs night, a nigth free for the women. I thought of meeting a good women but did not even find a good looking one. Few women were there but all oldies..there were there for free food. 2) The crowd is old men and old women. The single men roams around to get a good look but come frustrated at the end. Starting with the only negative... As swinger's bars go, I wouldn't characterize Trapeze as one. I say this by virtue of the clientele - IMPORTANT NOTE - I think this is a top notch club! My comment above is attributable to comparing Trapeze with other 'Swinger's clubs' in Vegas, California, NYC, Chicago etc. I think the root of the issue is just simply that it's the Deep South. A little more on this point: Gentlemen, when you go to a swinger's club with your wife (as I have to Trapeze on now three occassions), you must remember that as a swinger's club people are going there expressly to meet and interact with other spouses! What my wife and I noticed on our visits is that the males seemed very 'clingy' to their opposite and (my words) 'puffed up' meaning it was clear they were uncomfortable with others approaching their missus. That is my only issue - and again - not a complaint, just wouldn't characterize this as a swinger's club based on it. Couple of other notes: we preferred the off-nights to Fridays and Saturdays. Both Friday and Saturday felt like a very typical bar scene with more men than women. Now, moving on to the positives! The club was very impressive - clean, well layed out, great music, LOVED the byob bar, and was also very impresses by the buffet! Further the club staff is just FANTASTIC! Genuinely courteous and friendly. Never did we get a sense of oppressive security staff, nor did any of the staff get in anyone's way. This is a huge compliment by the way, again having been to many swinger's clubs we really appreciated the quality and professionalism of Trapeze's staff. In closing - this is a top notch facility. The only weak point I would give it is that the gentlemen of the south need to get a better understanding of the swinging lifestyle and determine if they are comfortable with it. My friend and I went here last night for the first time. Let me say that is phenomenal. If you are looking for a place where you can completely leave an inihibitions at the door, this is it. It is a very nice establishment with a nice bar area, lounge area/play area, and even an area with a pool and hot tubs. The atmosphere and people were great!!! Heard a lot about Trapeze. Decided to attend on May 28 Sunday Memorial Day weekend. Arrived with girlfriend shortly before midnight. After filling out app on computer, handing over bottle of liquor, we headed towards locker room. waited ten minuted for attendee to lock our locker, very small and stuffy locker area, in order to get to our locker we had to wait for two couples to finish with there's. we proceeded to the bar where it took them 10 minutes to find our bottle we just brought in. Upon ordering our second drink, the bartender stood right beside us conversing with another couple before we almost got rude in getting her attention. we are by no means predjudice by blacks outnumbered white 3 to 1. weren't many people, extremely hot inside. I didn't know what to expect here, me and my wife just wanted to check it out. Wow!!!! It was definitely shocking. Culture-shocking to be exact. I've never seen anything quite like this. It was too much of a shock that it felt unreal, I shake my head and we're still there. It's really happening!!! It's quite an adventure we did as a couple and it was a very positive experience for us. It was a sexually liberating discovery even more so than our already wild bed routine. What I also didn't expect is that people were polite, friendly, non-judgemental and non-threatening. They were very approachable and even gave us tips and tricks for our next visit, from attire down to linen. The food was also decent (changed menu in the middle of the night) and the waitstaff are very helpful as well as the bartender and locker assistants. If there is one thing that I would suggest is that they should provide linen other than towels, but it's all good cause I can just bring my linen next time. Let me start by saying that Trapeze is one of several clubs of this type that I have been to, so my review may be a bit more specific than most others one here. As I understand it, Trapeze is the only sex club in Atlanta. As such, it attracts a pretty huge crowd, particularly on themed or event nights. My husband and I attended during a swingers themed night. The club was absolutely and entirely packed, probably 150 people at least. The mix was fairly white, mostly middled aged and for the most part, attractive looking people. To get into Trapeze, you must buy a $50 2 month membership and then pay a cover fee ($80 a couple on Saturdays). This came to $130, which is well over the rates that most sex clubs charge (usually more like $60-$80). I was immediately pretty put off by that. The club itself is divided into several different areas. There is a huge front bar, buffet set-up, tables and chairs for dining, and then a dance floor with second bar in the front area. The food was absolutely divine, and this is coming from a vegetarian. I was very, very impressed and would rate the food alone a 5 star. The bartenders are fairly attentive and as most sex clubs, the drinks are BYOB. The bartenders will use your alcohol to make basic well drinks. This usually helps make up most of the crazy cost of admittance to clubs like this (though, as I said, Trapeze is much higher than others I've been to in similar metro-size cities). The second part of the club is the "play area" which is basically a large space divided with benches and beds for "play". There is a roped off area for couples only which has several beds. To the back, there are 3 hot tubs in a tiled area. This entire area does not allow clothing and, as such, you can leave your clothes in a free locker in the front area. Though you can engage in activities wherever you please (while I was eating dinner, there was a man 3 feet away from me being serviced by his wife and another woman), this is where most play time happens in Trapeze. The third part of the club is the Diamond Member VIP section. This section is for exclusive members that pay for a separate membership. I heard the price is double the admission price per night or somewhere around there. If you are good looking enough, you will be scouted by management and brought back for free (my husband and I were invited back here). The VIP section consists of a fancy bar, a huge room of couches, and then several play rooms dotting each wall of the room. There are also unisex bathrooms back here (the rest of the club has regular multi-occupancy restrooms). The VIP section also has an orgy multi-use bed in the back. VIP members receive custom cocktails and on-demand menu ordering from the private chef. The VIP section was almost exclusively a white crowd of middle aged couples with many "regulars". I saw very little sexual activity in this area and most couples who went to engage in activity closed the door behind them (there are locks). In contrast, by about 12:30 or so, when I went to the regular play area, I saw sex just about everywhere. The mix shifted by this time of night and was half to mostly all black couples. It seems that the crowd from earlier had mostly found mates and paired up already, or had taken home one another. This was a little bizarre. Pros -Delicious buffet and great bartenders -Very nice facility, clean and modern -Clean washrooms (which is not always the case with these kinds of places) -Lots of people in attendance, clearly this club has regulars Cons -Located near a bunch of seedy strip clubs, but I guess this is unavoidable -Way too expensive -Smoking is permitted in the main area which is pretty gross to me -Staff does not patrol or really do much to control which guests follow the "rules" -Absolutely no themed rooms -Weird racial divide between the VIP and regular area -Crowd was very "cliquey" All in all, this was the worst experience I have had at any club of this kind. There is very little sexual exploration and it is quite "vanilla" compared to most. Many clubs of this kind feature different types of rooms, novelties such as sex swings or dungeons, and so on. Trapeze had none of that. As such, the activities were much more tame than most clubs. Furthermore, the VIP section functioned more like a cocktail bar filled with socialites than a sex club. I have had a positive, thrilling, eye-opening, unique and lovely time here- every time I've gone. I'm a single female in my late twenties and very new to this lifestyle and type of club. Every one is friendly and welcoming. Starting with Valet service- easy to talk to and I trust them with my vehicle and whatever's in it. Sometimes you, individually, have to warm up the dance floor to get the more shy people out there and grooving. Even if there happens to be a slow night there's always someone interesting to talk to and of course there's the delicious buffet! Mind blowing place- my favorite stress-release hangout for sure (for voyeurism or doing)! Awesome staff that party with you but also have your back! As a server myself several years ago I must say; don't be a poor tipper! DJ Robert is a fun sweetheart who gets the party started with the beats! The TV screens have delightful adult entertainment on them. Plenty of seating and different types of couches and areas for eating, watching, playing, chillen, smoking, talking, or straight up fucking. No cigars or black n milds in the club either. Please be courteous to non smokers and follow the rules in that respect. Don't forget to check the websites calendar for the theme of the night because dressing up is half the fun and taking it off (or having it taken off) is the other half. ;) The fact that this establishment has been around 13 years (come May 2016) speaks volumes to it's professionalism, clean environment, drama free and fun hot spot for all different ages, ethnicities and sizes/types of people. There's a play area past the dance floor, and it continues into the back where there are private rooms and what I like to call open-lounge orgy beds and couches. :) The Diamond Club has a different membership fee, but I couple gave me a tour and I can say, it's well worth the extra 15$ for single women. You need a pin to enter into the keypad to go in back. Single men are allowed if a couple invites them into the Diamond Club. Mood lighting everywhere, candles in some places, lockers for both sides of the house I like to call it. Bowls of protection and some people even bring their own- which, if it's a busy night, it might be best to have back up. There's a different party every weekend! Last night (Friday) was a wet T-shirt contest! The day before that are Ladies Night Thursday's- first 30 get in free. My advice- from watching and listening to others- If you have a negative experience because of someone else, or how a fellow swinger treats you- don't let it scare you away, chances are you won't see them again and why let it ruin a good time or your self-discovery. You are in the heart of exploration (emotionally, mentally and physically) there's a range of newbies to experienced people- go with the flow and deal with things out of house, not in the club. This was my third trip to Trapeze in Atlanta. The cost for my hubby and I was $125...it was a Friday night. That included a 2 month membership. Since it was the Labor Day weekend they were NOT accepting discount vouchers some had (we didn't, it was just an observation), so if planning on using said discounts make sure it's no holiday. The staff was VERY busy but accomodating and friendly. Since our last visit there had been lots of changes. Gone was the larger dining area. In it's place was 2 rather small areas with tables to eat dinner and breakfast. We had to eat at the bar, which was no huge deal....but I liked the old dining area much better. The food was very good, with 2-3 different types of meat and 2-3 vegetable selections, gumbo, bread and salads/desserts....also had a breakfast buffett which was very good! With the old floor plan there were 2-3 large sitting areas with comfortable couches etc to talk and get to know people, suck cock, make out etc away from the noise of the dance floor yet not in back where its towels/nudity only. I missed that.....I really enjoyed talking and sucking cock and getting to know men before going to the back.....but thats just me. In the back, it's towels or nude.....the pool is gone for the commoners which I missed. The jaccuzi area has 3 jaccuzi's ....I missed the openess of the old "back area"....it all seems very closed now. Where there was once a large group sex room and large couples only room, there are now 3-4 private "mini-rooms", and one small area where all can gather.....but there is nowhere to play there really. The night we went had rather slim pickings from the single gents......there were LOTS of couples......I mean a TON of them......all looked to be in late thirties to mid 50's. My main complaint with the single gents is that of the 7 I tried to begin play time with, 5 of them already had condoms on!!!! Went to this club on "Ladies night" Thursday 4/17/2015 with my girlfriend. We're from out of town and wanted to see what it was all about. We paid the $90 to get in and dropped our bottles for the bar. The bartenders were nice and as it turns out except for my girlfriend they were by far the hottest and friendliest women in the place. The club wasn't crowded really and despite it being "ladies night" there were more single men then ladies or couples. The couples that were there were mostly middle to late middle age and most were more than a little overweight. We didn't expect to find "Ken and Barbie", but we did hope for some couples that were reasonably fit and attractive. So we drank at the bar hoping for "that couple" to come through the door, they never arrived so we headed to the back area where we found a few couples and several men hanging out. We went to the hot tub area and got in. The hot tubs were clean and enjoyable except for being stalked the entire time by several overweight single men. Since we weren't interested in single guys and definitely not the ones that were there, we went to the couples room. There was one older couple there that seemed to be waiting on someone to come, we weren't interested so we exited. We decided just to find a private room where there was a window between in hopes maybe another couple would take the other room and we could watch each other, the only people who showed up in the other room were the stalkers mentioned earlier. Oh, if you go in the private rooms and you don't want people coming in, lock the door, on numerous occasions people tried hard to get in. When we exited the room, the stalkers were gathered around, and it was well a bit uncomfortable. So we decided it was time to leave and headed to the very small coed locker room, where an older man proceeded to grope my girlfriend and another woman while they were trying to change. Not cool. Overall the facility has potential, nice bar, and the back areas are okay too. But if you're looking for a club full of reasonably attractive couples, I would pass on Trapeze at least on Thursday night. Maybe Saturday is better since its couples only, but I hear a lot of single guys seek out single women on craigslist to help them get in on Saturday nights so not sure it would be any better.
