The mole was simply tender and amazing. It was the right amount of food after a long day of travel, too. A must-try with a flight of mezcal as well. It is a true, balanced, and great combination. The service was equally fun with Joshua. He was very accommodating with the large table and had great energy, too.

Right on peachtree street in downtown Atlanta. Ate here with a few conference friends for a nice evening meal. The ambiance is high end as is the service and menu. The Salas and guac sampler was plentiful and had a variety of tastes. The tacos were good. There was a nice mixture of ingredients in each taco. I tried a bite of a friend's Korean beef taco and thought it was better than the chicken. Overall, a nice meal in downtown Atlanta.

Overall, the food, location and ambiance were all really good at Alma Cocina on a Friday evening. The guests were the expected mix of tourists, convention visitors and local show-goers, but it was easy to get a reservation. The host was kind enough to seat half the party of 4 while waiting for the other half who were delayed by MARTA issues. The service was friendly and efficient, but with some long delays waiting for drinks and to place additional orders. They're very used to getting people in and out quickly, it seems, so even with that delay they were swift to bring the check and get us on our way. The food was very good indeed, with a great selection of tacos (3 come per order, so there's a lot of food) and entrees (special mention for the beef dish).

Popped in for a quick afternoon bite after a rough meeting. The server was very nice and energetic! The restaurant was clean with an array of seating options. After searching google for ceviche options close to me, this came up and it did not disappoint! It was perfectly made and will now be added as my "quick ceviche" spot!

I enjoyed this restaurant so much the last time I was in town, that I came back, and brought some friends. Waitress was awesome, and the fried chihuahua cheese was as good as I remembered. I also recommend the shellfish ceviche and the Smoked Salmon Tlayuda.

I needed to pop in for a quick lunch and grabbed a seat at the bar. It's always fun to chat with bartender and learn a little more about the city. And it definitely did not disappoint at Alma Cocina. Very friendly staff. Got tips on what to eat. Chose the tacos and couldn't resist being the multi cheese dish. Both were delicious. A very cool vibe inside the restaurant and when I went to leave, I realized it was part of a hotel lobby on the front side. Enjoyed.

Such a pleasant surprise!! We easily made a reservation online. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly face and seated quickly. The service was great throughout our meal. I got the blood orange margarita, and my husband got the original margarita. Both were sooo good!! Fresh and clean tasting. Neither sweet, which I prefer. We got the fried cheese appetizer based off all the recommendations. This was unique and fun! We would've preferred it with chips or something different than the corn tortillas it came with. Our favorite dish was the smoked salmon appetizer. This was delicious. Nice crispy bottom piece, a good amount of salmon, and a wonderful slaw and sauce on top. Loooved this! We then shared the shrimp tacos. These fell a bit flat in our opinion. It came with 3 tacos that had 3 shrimp each. Also had rice and beans included. This dish was a bit average to us. Homemade tortillas would've made it much better. If they do make their tortillas homemade...you can't tell. All in all, a good experience!

My group of six came here during a large conference in the area for lunch. We had reservations and were probably seated and greeted by our server. What was most memorable was the guac trio... We almost literally inhaled it haha I got the steak and salad which were decent. The manager came by at some point to check in to see how we were doing. He had also recommended the salsa trio, which we hadn't tried yet. Soon the server came over with a complementary trio from the manager-- super considerate of him!

Quick and friendly service. The croquetas were surprisingly our favorite. Nice family friendly or date night spot in central downtown. They have a parking garage nearby but easy to access by walking if staying in nearby hotels. The food had lots of flavor, big portions, and very fair pricing. IMPORTANT NOTE: The tacos come with 3 in each order we were just too hungry to wait

We came to Atlanta for the World Cup, our family gathered at this restaurant for the evening, and we had an amazing time. Our server which, unfortunately I don't remember her name was extremely nice, the Spice, the fact that there was so much people everywhere she took amazing care of us and everything came out on point. We did a little buffet of appetizers and then ordered some interest for everyone, the birria empanadas were so tasty, and then we had the New York steak, along with a bunch of drinks. What a great time!!

Lovely modern Mexican place just down the block from Peachtree Center. On a Sunday evening it was already busy an hour after opening. Reservations recommended, although the staff found us a table after a short wait. We had the pink margarita cocktail special to support breast cancer research. The server recommended the Guava-Queso Guacamole and that was great. It was just the right amount for two, a scoop of fresh guacamole with guava jam on top, sprinkled with cheese crumbles. That came with a basket of whole fried tortillas as chips. Delicious. My companion ordered the Bulgogi tacos and I had the pork tacos, both with sides of rice and black beans. There were three tacos in each order, mine on corn and hers on wheat tortillas. I thought both were excellent. The restaurant is very nice inside and huge. There is a full bar in one room where seats are first-come, first-served. Another room appears to be for large groups. The main dining area has booths and tables. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely go again!

I walked by this place a few times, hesitant to go in because it looked a little too upscale and less authentic than I'm used to. I finally gave in and was glad I did. Things started a bit chaotic as the staff worked out seating, but once settled, service moved like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member I interacted with was exceptionally pleasant. I ordered the agua fresca, chicken mole, and fried plantains. The agua fresca wasn't really my thing, with a sour profile I didn't love. But the chicken mole was excellent--juicy, flavorful, and served with mashed potatoes and a touch of green beans. The real star, though, was the plantains. The portion could easily feed three, and the price was only slightly more than I'd usually pay for a single serving elsewhere. More importantly, they were the best fried sweet plantains I've ever had, so good I joked with the waitress about hiring the cook away and moving them to Richmond. I'm glad I got over judging a book by its cover, this was a memorable dinner and a place I'll definitely return to.

Such a great dining experience from start to finish! Our server Caleb was on point. He recommended the guacamole trio, which I was skeptical of but it was so good. The guava queso one was delicious - not what you think - it was cotija cheese so no melted queso to worry about LOL! The market fish was red fish and it had a great sear. The coconut ginger broth was yummy. The tortilla chips were basically fried corn tortillas - can you say delish?! I swapped out the green plantains for the sweet fried plantains, and they were excellent! I tried the naranjorita, which was a blood orange and orange margarita. Just superb! They have ample seating, including a full bar. We sat at one of those semi-round booths.

Is this the restaurant in the ground level of the Ritz carlton?

Hi Debby, Yes it is! We hope to see you soon!

Is there on site parking? Is it free?

They validate for 2 hours if you park in 191 deck. Entrance on Ellis.

Does this restaurant really have a C health score?

I was just there a few weeks ago and the place looked clean to me. I don't know if something happened between now and then but I don't think customers rate the health score ?

Do I see Chile Nogada in some of these pics? I loved it in Puebla and havnt found a place here that makes it!

About half of the menu at Alma Cocina changes regularly. They used to serve a chile nogada but it is not longer on the menu.

Visited Blackjack Bar in Atlanta for the first time. It was suggested as a perfect date night or…read more"girls night" spot on TikTok, which was great because I was in town celebrating my birthday with my best-friend. When you walk in the mood is instantly set with by the low ambient lighting and decor. Being that the theme & cuisine is Asian fusion, they really put a lot of effort into transporting to visually to an Asian oasis. We were seated at a table in the main dining area, but there's also a full bar with ample seating and very nice view. The seats were very comfortable and the tables are spaced in a way for intimacy. They also have music playing the background & the playlist was diverse with music ranging from K-Pop to R&B. Now on to our meal! The menu is pretty straight forward and broken down into apps/small plates, mains/big dishes, and a separate menu for cocktails. To start off we got drinks: lychee martini 10/10 & "cucumber salad" 8/10. Both were very good. The ingredients used make the drinks very intriguing and definitely something you've probably never tasted. It's suggested to keep an open mind when trying their cocktails. For food we had the shrimp wontons 10/10 (sauce was so good ... a little spice to it), the salt and pepper shrimp 8/10 (a little salty but fried well), the Thai basil fried rice 10/10 (the fried egg on top and the pickled cabbage was a great touch), and last the lobster pot 10/10 (presentation alone would make me go back to visit ... this dish was so good and flavor full). Overall my experience was great and I would definitely make it a priority to visit when I come back.

I came here on Aug 6 for My Birthday. But before that I called on Aug 3 to inquire about…read morereservations and the GM Dante was so nice and accommodating. He assured me that my request for an non-tradtional dinner reservation could be fulfilled. He also informed me that they offered 2 hour parking validation in the 1010 parking deck. So I made reservations for the 6th from 630p-1100p. That particular day they also had a love band. So Dante reserved the high top bar tables for me which was 4 that sat upto 8 ppl. It was perfect b/c when I got there I had 1 friend waiting and then as we ordered food and drinks more ppl came through, and then some left and that was throughout the night. It was perfect. No waiting on opl not splitting bills just come enjoy buy what you want and leave when you want. The set up was EXACTLY what I wanted. SERVICE: Starting with the phone call to make the reservation Dante the GM was really nice an accommodating as I mentioned. I just hate I didnt get to meet him, b/c that day was his one day off. But nevertheless he had everything don't just the way i asked and I was grateful for his attentative nature. We had Yaz as our server and she was amazing to say the least! She was attentative and made sure everyone that came in was properly taking care of. She was personable and quite friendly which isn't that common these days. With everyone wanting a tip for bare minimal service it was refreshing to see someone who seemed to like her job and did it with ease and was on top of her game, so there for she deserved th3 tips she made from us that night. I didn't pay for anything (hence it being my bday), and I still tipped her. That's how good she was. And when I go back I will definitely ask for her section. The hist that checked us in, I believe his name was Mike. He was also very nice. There was a table next to pur high top tables and I asked if my mom could sit there and he said sure as long as they didn't need it, b/c my mom couldn't get up on the barstools that good. And so her and another friend's mom sat there. So worked out perfect AMBIANCE: The restaurant itself was really nice. I enjoyed every part. It was loud and the band was nice. At first on the appearance of the band I didn't know what to expect, but all in all they played a variety of really nice music and it wasn't over powering like they thought they were at a concert like most bands in restaurants. FOOD/DRINKS All I can day here was it was all soo very good. All of my friends were impressed and every person stated how they would have to come back b/c it was so nice. The drinks the food everything. I dont think Iate one thing I didn't like. Only thing I had that I mentioned to the server Yaz was that the octopus tail was a bit chewy amd that's it. The drinks were AMAZING. For me it is all about presentation and the had great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. One drink called the Good Time Girl was soo good and it came out with all these bubbles. It was amazing. They had a appetizer special 3 for $39 and me and a friend order 2 and so we tried 6 different things and it all was good. We had the calamari, grilled octopus tail, chicken wings, lettuce wraps, mussels, and oysters. It was ALL SOO YUMMY! We had a great time and it was perfect for how I wanted to celebrate. I would definitely come again hands down. The only downfall was that night the parking for 2 hours wasn't working properly so I parked on the street, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant that was something with the garage I suppose.‍ So I definitely recommend this place. It's good for date night, hangout, drinks or a light bite. You won't be disappointed.

The amount of prep, technique, and patience required for clarified cocktails definitely isn't lost on me, so I naturally gravitated toward those options. MidCity clearly puts serious effort into the details and the server was well-equipped to discuss and help guide me to the right decisions. I tried the Peanut+Butter, Mangorita, and Pear Matcha Fizz. The Mangorita was the standout for me. The rum brought a deep, complex backbone while the mango rounded everything out with just the right sweetness. Super balanced, layered, and honestly just delicious. The Peanut+Butter reminded me a bit of a Boulevardier variation, with the Cynar adding that earthy, slightly bitter edge that kept it from leaning too sweet. Really interesting drink with a lot going on. The Pear Matcha Fizz was refreshing and easy to drink -- definitely tasty -- but felt a little less complex and developed compared to the other two cocktails I had. Overall, very impressed.
