The service was slow and they rudely reached across people and tables instead of walking around. The food was not good. The chicken parmigiana appeared to be old and reheated or too long under the heat lamp. The seafood ravioli was too salmon forward. The spinach ravioli were ok. We left most of the food behind. Sat at the bar tonight with a friend and our wonderful bar mate was the greatest guy, Brandon M, according to our final receipt! Personable, friendly, welcoming, warm, you name it! He was everything and MORE that you would want and need in a neighborhood (or otherwise) bartender. He was spot on at every moment and never left us wanting for anything, was SO nice and made our evening a really nice one and we certainly will be back and we highly recommend this place and this bar! We watched the service and it too seemed to be great and the overall staff appears to be working together in sync. My only demerit is that our food was not as hot as it could have been, and yes, we could have spoken up, but, it was ok and just hot enough, so we did not say anything, but in a perfect world, it should have been piping hot, and it did come out a bit too quickly after we ordered it, which made me suspicious in the first place. But, when you are having fun, and you have great service, the "little" things like less than piping hot food are NOT terribly important, are they??!! Came here at around 5pm and the ambience was perfect. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe gnocchi pasta with and extra of burrata. The Arancini (rice balls) are a house specialty which don't disappoint. Good beer and wine selections in the menu. The restaurant itself feels cozy and is very neatly decorated, with even some iconic retro soccer jerseys in the main saloon. Overall, very satisfied and will very likely come back!! read more

This is now my third time here and I still feel this place is the best Italian in town! Everything on the dang menu is bomb! The service is amazing. Ou group of five ate here last night. We had multiple dietary restrictions. The chef was able to modify dishes to meet our needs. For me this is a sign of a restaurant with a chef who prepares each dish individually and does not rely on pre seasoned dishes that are just heated up. You would be amazed at how many restaurants tell me, we can make no changes at all as all food arrives pre-seasoned. This place is the real deal! Service was amazing. Food was excellent. We had appetizers like the Calamari Fritti, Involtini di Melanzane, and Arancine. Wow...all very good and tasty. For my main course, I had the Pistacchiosa which is a spaghetti pasta in a pistachio pesto cream sauce and added grilled chicken. I was curious about the sauce, and I was not disappointed. Found this place as a last minute option on a Sunday. Called at 7:30PM to let them know I was bringing a party of 8 people at 8:30PM - very accommodating. I LOVE Italian food, but this one just blew me away. Seriously reminded me of when I went to Italy last year. Decor was adorable, drinks were great, food was amazing! Decided to try the new place in the 'hood. The good news about this restaurant is that it's got a darling design so that you feel you're in an Italian neighborhood with clothes hanging on lines. The service was lovely and caring. They really wanted to please. I ordered the artichokes and they were delicious. My hubs ordered the potato soup which was wholesome and a little plain. Our pasta orders came--I ordered the pistachio pasta and he ordered the vodka sauce. The sauces were delicious but the pasta was soooo underdone that it was very chewy and not flavorful. We let the waiter know afterwards in a nice way. We'll try it again another time and ask that the pasta be cooked more. We understand al dente, but this was downright chewy. Lastly, the noise level in the restaurant was so high that sitting across from one another, we couldn't hear what the other person was saying. We will give it another try though as they haven't even had their formal opening yet. We hope they resolve some of these issues and wish them well. read more

Before I get into the food I have to talk about this. My wife and I had reservations. It wasn't crowded. they sat us in this tiny table for two against the wall and up against a huge faux Roman column. Within fourteen seconds we asked to be moved to a different table. As I'm enjoying a beer I see the hostess move another couple to the same "reject table" and like clockwork they asked to be moved. they literally sat three couples at this table and all the couples asked to move. why they insisted on putting people in the worst seat in the house when there were dozens of open tables is mind boggling. The actual waiter was very good but the food was to the left of mid. the pasta sauce was too pasty and the caeser dressing was excessive too. If you work at the resteraunt and are reading this. DO NOT PUT PEOPLE AT THE REJECT TABLE IF YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. total lack of awareness from the hostes or from whoever told the hostess to put people at that table Over and over again. read more
