This was our first night and dinner in Sorrento and we are impressed with the food and service. We didn't make reservations, but we showed up at 6pm when the restaurant opened. We were seated right away. I guess we were lucky because the tables filled up very quickly. As usual, I think we've ordered too much food. Everything on the menu just sounds so good! I love fritto misto and grilled octopus! If it's on the menu, I will order it. The seafood in Italy is incredible. The Aubergine (eggplant) Parmigiana is indescribable. I love eggplant, but the vegetables in Italy taste so much better than US. We wanted to skip wine at this particular evening and went with cocktails. It was great choice because they were perfect! The service was excellent. They are friendly, polite and will go out of the way to make us feel welcome. I would definitely come back the next time I am in Sorrento again. This was an excellent meal.

Another amazing meal in Sorrento. We ate here after a long day in capri and the waitstaff was so friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions, didn't Push anything too hard, and we took their advice on the food. Had the caprese salad and the split the chef special of a seafood pasta. It was amazing!!! The wine they offered was great as well and our 2 kids ate everything as well.

I had one of the specials which was pasta with local fish and mushrooms. That staff very helpful and suggested some local wine to pair with it. I ordered cheesecake for dessert and it came with complimentary lemoncello. Overall service was very helpful and patient and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

Hello from Sorrento Italy. Had a late lunch here, they close for a few hours, before dinner starts at 5:30pm. It was a lovely, not beautiful, walk to get to the restaurant. We ate inside where they have four tables setup. Outside has five or six. Ordered Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina for my wife. So much better than the dish you get in the United States. I had Rigatoni Ragu which had big noodles and meat. They give you just enough where you want more. House wine was also ordered. Desert was tiramisu. Very yummy. As with other restaurants in Europe there is a cover or service charge. 2.5 euros per person. Dining felt like I was eating at home if my mom were Italian and if she could cook. The place is small so get a reservation if you can. We were lucky walk-ins. Enjoy

    Pesto with raw shrimp

Best meal in Sorrento! Appetizers were incredible. Beef tartare with truffles and the fried zucchini flower were stars. Pesto pasta with raw shrimp amazing too. Staff was super friendly and attentive. This is a small family owned restaurant who focus on quality over quantity. They took time to explain their menu and the care that went into each dish, along with tips for navigating the wine list.

Wonderful intimate restaurant. Attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. Chef chose our entrees and they were delightful. Hidden gem

A hidden gem and worth the walk to find this place. Highly recommend! The food and atmosphere is wonderful, treated with care and immediately felt welcomed. Seafood was very fresh! You won't be disappointed.

Grilled fish with decadent mashed potatoes

We had dinner at this nice restaurant in Sorrento. It's a couple of blocks away from the main strip so it's a quieter area. To start we had to try the stuffed anchovies with mozzarella and ricotta. I'm not used to seeing seafood mixed with cheese so this combination was intriguing. I must say the anchovies were amazing, they had a nice lemon flavor and the cheese was so mild. For our entrées we had the ravioli and a grilled fish. The ravioli were simple but the tomato sauce on the ravioli was absolutely delicious. A dish that definitely felt like home. The fish was filet, grilled and served with a side of creamy and buttery mashed potatoes. Again, a combination I'm definitely not used to but one which worked so well. Lastly, although not terribly hungry we had room for a bit more food and were curious to try the meat stuffed cannelloni everyone talks about so we went for it. The dish was ok but not one I'd rate high or go after again. Lastly we decided to try the torta caprese, a rich flourless chocolate cake famous in this area, served with a side of vanilla ice cream. It was rich and chocolaty with a nice hint of almond, but a bit dry for my taste. There are better traditional local desserts that one must try in this area. Service was friendly and very attentive, and prices were reasonable for this area.

    Best stuffed zucchini flowers!

We had a wonderful experience here! The staff was kind, helpful and attentive with dietary constraints. The food was delicious - best zucchini flowers - not fried, SOOO DELICIOUS!! The seared tuna was outstanding as was everything else we ordered. It is a small, cozy spot, we enjoyed it much more than the larger restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great service. Fantastic wine. Good recommendations. Excellent outdoor patio. Buon Appetito!

Having visited multiple places in Italy and Sicily the last time, this place stood out as one of the favorite spots on our trip. Of course we had to stop by again, and we were not disappointed. When in Sorrento, lemon pasta is a must, but I have the say that the true star was La Genovese pasta, which was recommended by our server. My husband still liked lemon pasta best, which means you really can't go wrong. Their bread was also delicious, particularly the white bread and the breadsticks, and they give you balsamic vinegar and olive oil for it. Considering most of the bread we had in Italy was surprisingly disappointing, it's exciting to eat somewhere that the food is good from start to finish. They also gave us one scoop of limoncello and one scoop of lemon gelato for dessert. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the lemon gelato. This is our second time back, and we would not hesitate to eat here again the next time we're in Sorrento. Servers were also friendly and helpful. The food does take a while, but that goes to show that it all is freshly made. This place is great whether it's for a casual dining experience or for date night. They also have free WiFi, just ask them for the info. I love that it's also a family establishment, and family members work at the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

Our servers were kind and patient and we even had a chance to meet the owner! I would highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered a variety of pasta dishes. I do not remember the names of the dishes, but my favorite ones were the lemon pasta and the T-none Florentine steak cooked to perfection! The limoncello at the end of our meal topped it off for me! I will certainly return when I come back to Firenze!

Busy place but worth the wait…read more Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant for local food at reasonable prices. Apparently every other Airbnb host did the same because there was quite the line waiting to get inside. We waited about 20 minutes and the line moved quickly. Kudos to the staff who were excellent and interacted well with us both while in line an inside while eating. Everyone seemed so happy here. Once seated we ordered drinks and the stuffed zucchini appetizer. The complimentary bread was on target. Very good. One of us had lasagna, another had the fish, another had the Gorgonzola Ravioli and I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. I tried all the dishes and they were all yummy. Very well done and tasty. We shared the Lemon Surprise for dessert and it was sublime. So tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to wait in line for seating.

Just fun presentation for one of the most loaded seafood pastas I've ever had. The caprese salad was so fresh and generous, the calamari was light and rich, and the pasta was so perfect. I would recommend everyone come here if you can.
