So I ended up going to the DMV anyways, I asked for the disability plates. They handed them to me Right away. For 2 cars. So the man at AAA was dead wrong! So be aware they may give you totally wrong info. The value of the place AAA on Wilbur that wasted my time is zero for this reason. Maybe they're good at something else, like give you travel maps or something else, but it's not cars and registrations and refused to give me the disability plates I had the right to.

AAA Has Been a Complete Disaster - Avoid If You Value Your Home…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. AAA's handling of our home insurance claim has been absolutely appalling. Since filing in March, we have been met with delays, neglect, unqualified vendors, and outright lies. We waited weeks for temporary housing, which I ultimately had to secure myself. The mitigation company AAA sent reflooded our home and then walked off the job without completing the work or taking responsibility. The general contractor AAA assigned submitted a bid so severely under budget that it left out major areas of repair. When we followed AAA's direction to get bids from licensed contractors, we submitted multiple -- all matching in scope and cost -- yet AAA refused to negotiate and continued to refer to their lowball, incomplete vendor estimate. We've been out of our home since April, with six children, including a child with serious health issues who was exposed to mold due to AAA's delays and poor contractor oversight. AAA did not take urgent action until I demanded it. No one from AAA even visited our home until July, after demo was already done -- four months after the claim started. Every vendor AAA has sent has been inadequate, unprofessional, and in some cases paid for work they didn't finish. We are now forced to pay out-of-pocket to restore our home because AAA refuses to provide fair market value or labor costs. Even after we submitted professional estimates with detailed scopes of work, we were backed into a corner -- use their unqualified people or pay for it ourselves. This has been the worst service I've ever experienced from any company, ever. We have no trust in AAA, and we are warning everyone we know: if you have AAA, pray you never have to file a claim.

The certificate entitiled me to a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. Here is a timeline of all my issues: On June 10, 2025, I activated my certificate. When I activated my certificate, I provided my dates of travel and the required $50 deposit. In September, I was concerned that I did not receive any confirmation for my booking date and when I went to the ActivateMyTrip.com website, it continued to tell me that my deposit was still listed as "pending", although the transaction had already shown up on my credit card. I called on September 3 and spoke to Mylee. After I explained my situation, she was able to help me resolve deposit issue after I provided documentation that my credit card had been charged for my deposit. From that point, I was told that I would be assigned an agent somewhere between 45-75 days before my sailing date. On November 10th, I received a message from Martrisha stating that she was assigned to be my agent for my trip to the Bahamas. When I contacted Martrisha on November 14th, we had a conversation and was asking me what hotel I wanted to book on one of the islands. I explained to her that my vacation was for a 4 day cruise. When she looked up my information, she had realized she was assigned incorrectly, as she did not handle cruises. She told me she would let her supervisor know. A few days later on November 17th, she informed me that she might be the one assigned to my vacation, as there was a possibility she was going to be trained to handle cruises. I never heard back from Martrisha and chose to trust that i would be called soon. I attempted to call to check again on December 2, 2025. The person on the phone said that someone would be assigned and that I would be contacted soon. On December 19th, 30 days before my cruise departure date, I still had not received a call to finalize my trip. I called and gave all my information again. Janine called me back and said that Nadine was going to be my agent and that I should expect to hear from her before the end of the day. I received no call. I sent an email on Saturday, December 20th and finally received a call on December 23. I spoke with Nadine. She was very kind and helpful, however, at this point, the cruise we had put the deposit on was almost completely sold out. We were not offered any additional promotions and in order to secure any room at that point, we were going to need to pay $680 (which the $50 deposit had been deducted, so it would have been $730). I chose to pay this fee, as we had already book airfare and hotel accommodations for this trip. I am aware that there will always be a few additional costs when winning a trip certificate and that there are rules and restrictions. Although everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful at that moment, my disappointment comes from the lack of attention and service I received through this process. It was a bit stressful to have to wait less than 30 days before my planned trip for someone to make contact with me and to have to pay a fee to secure a spot on the boat. If I had been contacted at the promised 45-75 days prior to sail date, I would have had the opportunity to have more time to consider upgrades or any other incidentals that the cruise line had to offer. When I contacted the organization that purchased this certificate, they said that the certificate should have covered for a basic room and that the winner of the certificate would need to pay any additional fees (again, fully aware). I sent an email stating everythin above asking if they would consider compensating me somehow or at least some sort of apology....anything. I sent a follow up email. No response. It has been over a month and I have still not heard anything from the company. We did take the cruise, but sadly we were also put in a room with non-convertible beds...which means my husband and I had to sleep head to toe the whole trip. This was an anniversary trip. It's funny now, but with everything that we did to get on the ship in the first place, it just seem to be the cherry on top of this sloppy, mishandled trip.
