It's the BX. They got what you need about 70% of the time. You have to walk in with a mask or no entry. They were not taking cash. Memes are flying off the shelf as families ride together. Lines were short and they have lots of clothes. Barbershop is closed for now

I am sooo blessed to have this place opened even during the Pandemic. I have nothing bad to say about this place from the Staff, to Customer Service & Cleanliness. Fully stocked & up to date. As far as brand names, they have Coach, MK & Kate Spade. Victoria Secret & Bed Bath Beyond w/ promotions to Sephora, Clinique, Estée Lauder Skin care & glamour. Everything like a small Mall. One very happy & satisfied Customer during COVID-19, I learned to appreciate e

The only way to fly! Low prices, no taxes even layaway plans. What else can you ask for?

prices seem too high. Tax free is nice, but you can find cheaper and pay tax at Wal-Mart

It's ok, no complaints really... Just plan accordingly when getting good in the food court, service is slow.

It's definitely on the large side, with all the departments that you get with the larger BX's.

The pier is filled with unique shops, entertainment, and plenty of places to grab a delicious meal while enjoying the beautiful views of the bay. The food options are endless, from the famous clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl to tacos, seafood, and classic fair-style treats. As you make your way toward the end of the pier, you're rewarded with stunning views of Alcatraz Island and the bay. One of the highlights is watching the sea lions relaxing on the floating docks below -- a fun and unforgettable sight. Whether you want to stop by for a quick bite, enjoy the scenery, or spend the entire day exploring, this is one of those places that has something for everyone.

Having lived in San Francisco for numerous years, I've been to Pier 39 many times -- sometimes to…read moreshow out-of-towners cool parts of my favorite city and sometimes because I just wanna go to a place by the bay that feels like a carnival! The stores are super cute, there are things to do, there are restaurants as well as good quick eats (like the mini donut shop - oh my gosh that's so good - and a cute retro candy shop at the end of the pier. Additionally, the views at the end of the pier are magical, and you get to view it with songs from the sealions! There are also magic shows at the pier you can watch for free and a large carousel! Pier 39 is 100%, touristy, but it is still festive and fun, whether you're an out-of-towner or a local resident. The only downsides are the prices (because this area is a tourist trap) and the parking. Here are some tricks and tips: Look for coupons for some of the pier activities (ie, coupon books, Groupon, and even on the ads in the local map they give you for free). I've found coupons for the Aquarium By the Bay, restaurants, the mirror maze thingy, and The Flyer. You can also go to the Visitor Center office on the 2nd floor of the pier! Just ask politely for coupons, and they'll usually have something. (They gave me 20% off some nice restaurants last time.) As for parking, be careful with street parking because if you are even a minute late, I swear, you'll find a ticket on your windshield! The city ticket workers are like hawks. There is a Pier 39 parking garage that is the closest but costs a lot. You can look for open parking lots further away, like at hotels, which can be cheaper. If you are able to walk, that may be a good option -- or better yet, take public transportation when you can. That is part of the San Francisco experience! One more tip: if it's your first time there, bring a lock to put at the end of the pier! (See photo) There are definitely a multitude of photo opps here!

We all know that their parking lot can be a nightmare, and that varies depending on the time of day. This parking lot is definitely no exception. In actuality, this is probably one of the worst parking lot experiences I've ever had. There's no rhyme a reason to it, it doesn't flow, and unfortunately, the people in the parking lot are pretty indicative of the people shopping in the warehouse. After finally being able to park, and then trying to hunt down a shopping cart, I was in the warehouse and finally shopping. I would consider Mountain View to be fairly civilized location. Boy do they have me fooled. Apparently, shopping carts are the new game of go karts. Everyone is fair game, it's acceptable to push someone or their shopping cart with your own, and run into people and keep going. I thought maybe that was my experience, but as I made my way through the warehouse, it was an everyone experience. I did enjoy the fact that I found some items at this location that I have never seen at the handful of other warehouses that I do shop at, so there is the positive in the story. The lines to check out are absolutely insane and people change lanes with the intent of trying to push someone else out of their way. It goes from being amusing to ridiculous. My plan was to go through self check out, but then one of the Costco employees started picking up all of the hand scanners, and saying that they would no longer be using them because of this particular warehouse, I guess people were not reading things incorrectly, and it wasn't being caught at the door Getting through one of the regular lines was less problematic than it appeared, and the line thankfully moved a lot faster, but not without incident. The people in front of me were literally throwing things onto the "belt", and when some of the jars collided and broke, that made for a lovely smelly mess. By the time I got to the cashier, he had a look of desperation in his eyes, and I promised him that checking me out would be as pain-free as possible. I was glad that I could bring some levity to the situation, and give him a feeling of relief. Definitely not my favorite Costco. Definitely not my favorite shopping experience. Definitely not really planning on going back.
