What a view! The last time I was here was a number of years ago. A friend suggested getting lunch and drinks here with a group of girlfriends which was a lot of fun! The lady behind the bar, I failed to get her name was very sweet and friendly. We each ordered a drink and a burger and she did it all! I ordered the regular burger and a mock tail made out of club soda and pineapple juice. The drink was recommended by the bartender and I enjoyed it. We had a great time here with fantastic views of the GG bridge and the Sausalito Marina. I am definitely going to come back more frequently for the great service and views!

What a fun place in an unexpected place! Saw live music here and got the quesadilla and veggie burger. Great place!

This is a little out of the way bar that is in a public yacht club. It's not a plush place but an upstairs room with a decent bar, but the real plus is the amazing views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge right in front of the club I'm not sure what the hours are. I seem to always go on weekends when it's open I'm not sure about weekdays where it could be closed? it's a great place to take out of town people to show them the views.

Enjoyed a Fort Point KSA beer and Sauvignon blanc. They had mixed drinks too!

Stayed at Cavallo Point and discovered this bar on a walk. Cool little no frills bar with a few food options and drinks. Killer view and bartender was friendly. Had a few drinks but will definitely come back for live music another time.

    Love this place!

Real estate investors are foaming at the mouth to get their grubby hands on this place with the killer view but it's never going to happen ... Thankfully, it's all for us regular folk to enjoy. Tips: They have a full bar and a small, casual menu (burgers & quesadillas). They take credit cards but cash tips only (and bring your cash because they're awesome and deserve it). Wishes: I wish there was a great juke box, better bands, and that it was open more often.

Very cool spot, view is Golden Gate Bridge on Marin County side. I absolutely love my town Sausalito, I have been living here for 15 years and it always takes my breathe away. Travis Marina Bar is a great example of a place that is soooo beautiful, you get a quick reminder of how lucky you are to live in Marin/Sausalito. I come here sometimes and because this bar is super chill, simple and has great margaritas for $6, I KNOW! Amazing! Usually we grab beer, hang outside with our dog or inside and listen to live music. To be in the bar during live music is $5 cover charge, just an fyi. Sometimes if you do arrive before live music and have been there for a while, they might ask you to come outside and reenter with $5 cover charge. I totally understand that concept but I also do support the arts of all kind. They do serve food, like chips and burgers, so it is an option, if you are hungry. I haven't really eaten there anything in 10 years, so no comment. Either than that, the spot is amazing and lovely!

From start to finish, it had the whole room dancing, clapping and screaming with joy. You can tell how much work goes into these performances and it truly shows. The Harry Potter themed vibe is also super unique. The lighting, the artwork, and the overall atmosphere make this place stand out from your typical drag brunch. If you're a Harry Potter fan, this spot is a must. The food was fresh and delicious, but let's talk about Nate the bartender, super cool, kind and welcoming. He really brings great energy to the space. Definitely try the Love Potion, it's a standout. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

The themeing is so on point inside! Some of their drinks are interactive which adds on to the themes. My friend thought the wands were available for show and borrow and got charged $20 for the wand xD I gotta say the night we went, bartender was pretty slow... it almost felt like he forgot our order bc it would take a while and when finished making drinks it was actually another groups order. The bartender wasn't super busy either. The drinks were hit or miss, espresso martini they had on the menu is probably premade bc I asked to change the liquor and he said I wouldn't be getting the one that's on the menu. Tried the one on the menu and lowkey hated it, tastes watered down and bitter. Although I tried my friends "butterbeer" cocktail and omfg if you have to order something get that. It was so good. Drink costs were about $16-$18. For me, it was nice to try and a fun experience! But probably one and done ToT

We were warmly greeted as we walked up to the front door and I was surprised that we didn't have to wait. There was a corner table at the green banquette next to the bar, which have us a nice view out the window to people watch. Although the place is loud, our seats allowed us to hear each other since we sat side by side at the corner. Our waitress checked in on us right away and was always attentive. We're definitely coming back with more people just to have the espresso martini tower. The cafe has a fun and lively vibe, and you can bring your dog with you and dine outside at the patio tables. The only complaint I had was a fly kept buzzing between the bar and our table, but that's a minor quibble.

The service has always been good, and the staff are friendly and attentive, which I appreciate. My main criticism is the food. In my opinion, the menu feels a bit one-sided and relies too heavily on fried items. I would love to see more variety and lighter, fresher options. The food is okay, but it hasn't impressed me enough to make it a destination for dining. Overall, it's a decent place with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, but I think the menu could benefit from more balance and diversity.

I spoke with the owner directly; great guy who has put a lot of work into this place and it shows. He has three locations in SF (this is a review for the Sutter street iteration), and I'm going to visit them all. Try to go on a week night when it's less crowded. The fluorescent lights were on bright so it drowned out the Christmas lights. This place did a snow show last year. I asked about it, got a lecture and no snow. Worst of all, they played extremely loud, annoying Hallmark movie, Lifetime channel basic white broad Christmas songs. With some skrillex mixed it. Weird. The other girlies started leaving. The drinks are delicious, especially Santa's Grog. But they ran out of it at 6pm. The Christmas decorations lacked spirit and soul. Hoping for better next year.

After a park day at the Presidio, we wanted to move the party and we decided on Bar Darling. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was jam packed. Luckily we were able to get some space in the alley way for us to order drinks from our server. We've been on a Friday around 5pm on another day, it wasn't as busy, so definitely a great place to start and maybe end the night. In a time where craft cocktails have gotten really expensive, Bar Darling offers craft cocktails (their signature cocktails) all for $14 each. If you know Peacekeeper, you know there's a lot of thought and imagination that goes into their drinks and it definitely shows here. My favorites were the Mama J (tequila based) and the Jaji (mezcal based). The aesthetic and vibes of this place is 10/10. Definitely great for a group of friends and/or date night!

Drinks had almost a "watered down" flavor to them, not sure if the bartender was just having an off night or if they got too busy to maintain standards or what happened, but it wasn't a good beverage and certainly not worth the price. Even at 7pm it was packed and could definitely tell people had been there for awhile as there were multiple 20 something year old guys and gals stumbling around, so I guess they found the drinks to their liking (or more likely had so many they really couldn't ascertain the difference). Better drinks and better crowd control and Darling will be just fine. But as I mentioned, they were already packed stem to stern at 7pm so my guess is they're doing just fine already.

We should have known that this wasn't the most popping spot considering the holiday and how we pranced in without too much of a fight. It was rather empty when we were there. It felt like more of an empty room that just so happened to be a bar. Things just seemed spaced out awkwardly with furniture that didn't go well together. It was rather quiet too. I could not even tell you what music was playing because I could not even hear it. I do appreciate that the place was festively decorated though. It was perfectly on theme for St. Patrick's Day. The bartenders were super friendly here. My friends and I were trying to take a picture together and the bartender kindly snapped some shots of us (both horizontal and vertical pics...chef's kiss). We ordered a round of their Jameson Jell-O shots and they were super good. I'd be curious to come back on a typical weekend night to get a sense of their atmosphere in a different setting.
