My GF had gotten a pair of glasses from Warby Parker and had the script done at the local Biltmore WP store and she couldn't read most print after getting the glasses in the mail which was encouraged twice at the Biltmore and it gave her a headache and after being charged $95.00 for a prescription when she should have not been charged and playing phone tag for at least 8-10 days because when you call the Warby Parker brick and mortar store to speak to anyone at the store after the sale including the medical examiner for your refraction your call will be routed to a third party with foreign accents finally getting a refund needed an objective third party opinion; I had to speak to a supervisor and before that kept going around in a circle. Also we learned that no business cards are given out at WP and due to their volume don't want to do follow up or check the script when they come in. In my GF's case her lenses where switched at the WP lab or reversed and her vision was on the outside of each lens as well as the script was not accurate enough and that is where Jay Arora MD, Ophthalmologist and Top Doc with the Phoenix Magazine and the "Face of Ophthalmology" as the editor stated in the full page Phoenix Magazine spread recently and for 4 years had been a Top Doc and I have been a patient for 4 years and when my gf and I got a referal to Travis Optometry at 23233 N Pima Rd., Suite 115. Scottsdale, Az. 85255 and phone number 480-401-5913 we made an Appointment right away and Dr. Arora said her script was off and with Travis's written letter and his license number and a discussion of how to handle objections on why they should only redo the glasses at no cost but we got the full extra $65.00 which we paid Travis back with his note and Arora helped but with Travis I didn't even need the extra help from Arora. So it's worth the trip to have Travis Optometry and Jay Arora MD wherever you are located. Jay has an LA location in addition to Scottsdale. read more

I Called Dr Travis because my Doctors office was closed on Mondays and he was close to my house. I had what seemed like a double eye infection with lots of white puss and extremely red hurting eyes. He told me to come right in and he would look at me. He did an exam and gave me a prescription for Antibiotic drops for my eyes. The pain stoped the next day along with the puss. And the redness went away after 5 days. The most important part to note is that Doctor Travis text me later that night to check up on me, and then every day to make sure I was improving!!!!! I was blown away at his genuine concern and customer service!!!!! I'm pretty sure I found a new eye doctor for my wife and me! read more

My daughter and I went to Travis Optometry out of pure convenience of location and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Travis far exceeded my expectations. He was VERY thorough with our exams and explained everything for both of our prescriptions. My daughter had expressed to me an interest in trying contact lenses again but was nervous about it the day of our exams, however Dr. Travis was extremely patient in explaining how to put them in and take them out, which made her feel less apprehensive about wearing them. The office is beautifully decorated and there is a large selection of frames if you choose to purchase your glasses from Dr. Travis. If not, he gives you the prescription to take with you. I didn't feel pressured at all to purchase glasses there, which is unlike past experiences at other optometrist's offices. My daughter did find frames that she absolutely loves and feels confident wearing and once the order was placed her new glasses arrived within a week.
