My hubby and I came here to get our routine couples mani-pedis the day after Independence Day. Thankfully they were not very busy and we were seated immediately. The shop is spacious and immaculate with the feel of a spa. We both got the most basic mani-pedi and I opted for Shellac Polish for my mani. Both of our technicians were quite thorough in both the maintenance and polishing of the nails. They even added in additional massage time which was divine. They took their time to ensure the quality of the finished product. The final product was absolutely fabulous but I will say it was quite pricey (which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). $105 total for us both. We normally pay around $80. Overall it was a great experience and good for a special treat but not for every 2 weeks. read more

Tre Nails Salon Review For my mother-in-laws 89th birthday we decided to treat her to a mani/pedi. Excellent service from the moment I called asking for three appts (one for my MIL, one for my husband and one for me) over the phone. They gave me an appt for a half an hour later. Nathan and Hannah did mine and my husband's mami/pedí's. They were great! I didn't interact with the tech who took care of my MIL so I don't have her name but I found it in poor taste and rude that she was on the phone while doing the manicure on my MIL. She literally had it between her ear and her shoulder while she was performing the manicure. Besides that everything was great. The ambiance of the salon is very relaxing and clean. One suggestion that I would offer is to place a hook between the tables so that women could hang their purses. My self and the lady sitting next to me had our purses on the floor. My husband and I will be visiting the area again next month for Christmas and look forward to going back here for services. Keep up the good job Tre Nails!! read more

Very nice, clean and a lot of technicians. No wait. Very pricey and it took a very long time to get a nail fill and gel polish, an hour and a half actually. Pedicure was nice but very quick for 55$. I was not happy with my nail fill. Nails were not shaped, acrylic left under nails, nails were bumpy, and did not look good. I returned the following day and demanded they b fixed and they were but with a poor attitude. But when I pay a total of $100 for pedi and a nail fill I expect them to be done right. I was not happy I spent 2.5 hours of my first day of vacation and 45 minutes of my second day getting my nails done. I will another salon next time. read more

I haven't found a regular nail salon since I moved to Cary, and I'm sad to say this won't be the salon I frequent. I decided to go here based on all of the great reviews I have read about it. The spa is decorated beautifully and I was served right away even though I did not make an appointment. There are 8-10 pedicure chairs, so they are able to accommodate many customers at once. However, my experience was not impressive. The water for my pedicure was only lukewarm, but the basin was filled to capacity and the tech didn't even ask if the temperature was okay. All of the other customers were offered a beverage, but I was never offered anything. Finally, the pedicure itself was lackluster. I go for pedicures because my feet really need them due to my career. But the tech paid no extra attention to the rough calluses on my feet. Upon getting home, I also noticed several places where the tech had cut my cuticles too much, causing them to bleed. I hope my experience was isolated, but I will not be returning to find out for myself. read more

The day after I posted my previous review, I went back for the shellac French nails. It has now been one week and two days since the pedicure (which was regular French). And none of my nails, fingers OR toes, has chipped even in the slightest. You might think I stay at home and watch reality TV all day, but I exercise daily and do a lot of cooking, so I feel like there are plenty of opportunities for my nails to chip. I've been a loyal customer of Tre Nail Spa through two sets of owners but watching how one of their techs disrespected an elderly lady today took me out and I'm done and out. The lady was easily in her 80s or 90s with a cane and walked very gingerly. The driver who brought her apologized for being 15 min late. He said it took a little longer to get her out than usual. Mae, her tech, immediately started complaining about him getting her there late. He apologized again. He left and said he'd return in an hour to pick the lady up from her mani pedi. As soon as the lady got in the chair, Mae again started chastising her like she was a child. I felt so bad for her. I'd be appalled if someone talked to my elderly mom that way. The customer beside me made the same comment to me. When I was finished and paid, I sought out the manager to let him know how rude and disrespectful his employee had been to an elder. He sort of laughed and said yeah I've told her not to and she still does it. Well Sir...perhaps you forgot who's in charge at your establishment? Do better. read more

I got my nails done for the first time at Tre Nail Spa and it was a really fast a pleasant experience. I was pretty pleased with the way my nails came out however when she was filing and smoothing my nails she nicked the side of cuticle on one of my fingers and it was red and inflamed for a couple days but ultimately fine. Other than that I was very pleased with the outcome and they lasted for a good three weeks or so. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I came here over the weekend with a friend to get a gel mani and a pedi done. We were helped quickly. First our nails. I felt her cut my cuticles but again I just kind of ignored it and continued chatting with my friend. We went over to get our toes done and by this point 2 of my fingers were stinging so bad and I was holding them in my other hand. I lifted my hand to find blood dripping down my fingers and in my other hand. She had cut my cuticles on 2 fingers so bad it was making my fingers gush blood. Of course she didn't seemed concerned and gave me a tissue. It kept bleeding so she wanted to put some stuff on my nails, I asked if it would sting and she said no but boy she was wrong!! It made it sting even more!! But it did stop the bleeding. At this point I was in tears. She was talking to people in her language laughing about it and they kept saying it's fine it's not bleeding anymore. The manager saw me crying and said nothing. We went to pay and she tried to take my card without even telling how much. She wanted to charge me full price! So we asked for the manager. He asked what happened, we told him, he said, well it's not bleeding so it's fine now you can pay. What!!!! We said no my service was so bad! So he said well what do you want me to do? He offered a gift card, but I don't live in the area and to hell if I'm ever going back there. Then he wanted to give me $10 off! Finally my friend went off and said I should only have to pay for my pedi. After he shook his head and mumbled under his breath he agreed. He was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I got a pedicure six days ago. The man who did it was not paying attention and rubbed a raw spot on my foot with the thing that takes off dead skin. I yelped in pain so he put nail polish remover on it. That made it feel SO much better...NOT! Well here I am six days later with an infected, oozing spot on my foot. It refuses to heal so tomorrow I am off to the doctor. After neosporin, hydrogen peroxide and every other home remedy I have no choice but to get some meds to eliminate the infection. My $27 pedicure is costing me a LOT more in money and pain. The place looks nice but they won't EVER see me again unless it is to pay me for the doctor's visit! read more

This is by far the best nail spa I've been to in the Raleigh, Cary areas. From the moment I stepped inside, it felt much more upscale than most small, nail spas. First of all, the decor is warm and inviting, as a spa should be. I made a reservation and I'm glad I did, because they filled up quickly. I got a Shellac manicure and pedicure and was super pleased with the time spent making it a relaxing experience. When you go to get a nail treatment, you should never be made to feel ashamed or embarrassed by your nails- especially when you are PAYING them to treat you. After a recent trip to this salon, I will never be back. My mother got a full set ($60 dollars.... on the high side if you ask me) as usual and then sat down to get a pedicure. When the employee (I think her name is Hannah- she is young, very done up and wears 5 inch heels) looked at my Mom's feet she very loudly said "Oh, my!". Extremely unprofessional and just mean. My Mom got up and left- she was no longer interested in the treatment. You just lost a family of 3 women who regularly got our nails done. I loved this place! I've never gotten pedicures on a regular basis (in fact, my first and only other pedicure was almost 10 years ago the day before I got married!) but I'm thinking I just might have to start! I arrived mid-morning, not long after they had opened, and there were already about four customers inside getting pampered. The staff's English was limited, but that didn't limit the service - everyone was very nice and friendly. My five year old daughter was with me and was so excited to see the panda bear chairs for the little ones coming along for a mani/pedi! Appointments are recommended, if I had known that before going then I would have made one, but since my daughter and I didn't have an appointment we waited about 10 minutes before someone was ready for us. My daughter was in heaven with the bubbly water for her feet that changed color, the sparkly pink nail polish, and the Barbie dvd she got to watch. I was in heaven in the super comfy chair, clean atmosphere that smelled nothing like the nail salons I walk past in the mall, and the foot massage! Probably one of the best nail spas I have been to in NC. From the moment I walked in, I was treated very kindly. I had an appointment and was promply seated in my spa massage chair once I arrived. I was offered either a water or diet coke and a magazine which was a really nice touch. My pedicurist was Francesca who was very professional and friendly. She was very knowledgeable as well and offered me some tips. The massage I received was incredible and went on for what felt like forever. The massage is my favorite part especially since my feet are super swollen due to being 9 months pregnant. My pedicure looks great, I walked out of the spa feeling great and I will definitely be back. Prices are comparable to all the other salons, but at Tre Nail Spa, you really feel like you are being pampered! read more

I've had several services. One full set and a few fill ins. I wish my review was as positive as the rest but it simply isn't. My first experience was okay, over priced and my nails were "mostly" even and the color was great. Customer service was terrible, took over 5 minutes for anyone to even look up and acknowledge I was there. Over $75 for a gel full set and cuticle trim. My first fill in was a mess. All of my nails were variations of an "almond" shape, with my right index nail being noticeably longer than all the others. On top of that, my nails were CONSTANTLY breaking off. The product used for enhancements was applied entirely too quickly and thin. Needless to say I've found a more reasonably priced nail spa in Raleigh, my nails have not broken once (and it's been over two weeks!) They look great. I decided to try out this place for the first time and I was very disappointed. I got the organic manicure and it was nothing special...nothing more than a regular manicure. My nails were not properly filed and are very jagged and sharp...I have to file them myself after just getting the manicure. Also, my polish is already chipping after one day. I feel this place is over priced and the service was less than satisfactory. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. A side note-I was sat near the door and every time the door opened it was freezing (and I don't normally get cold)...the tech even said "you might want to put on your jacket because it's going to be cold"...definitely not the relaxing manicure I expected. The "new" manager, James, was very rude and nasty, stated that he did not care what steps I will take to get my money back. I am either filing a dispute with my bank or filing a complaint in Small Claims Court. I liked this salon. Main reasons were that 1) it didn't smell like the usual toxic chemicals found in most salons, 2) it was clean and the decor was calming, 3) Tremee(?) did a great job on my toes and fingernails. I made a reservation for me and my friend at 2 PM for 6 PM appts. Walk-ins are welcomed, but I always find that calling ahead ensures faster and better service at most businesses. My friend and I were greeted in a friendly way by a gentleman and Tremee. They got us both situated into our chairs. I always find myself carrying way too much to the salon during the wintertime...coat, open-toed shoes for afterwards, umbrella, etc. With their help, I was able to get situated and get into a calm mood quickly. Tremee was great. She knew when to discuss things with me regarding how I wanted my pedicure performed, but she also knew when to keep going without interrupting my conversation with my friend. Yes, their prices are a bit higher that what I'm used to paying, but I think great service and walking out of a salon without complaints is worth a little extra. I've been going to nail salons throughout the area for many years, and I rarely ever think "I'm coming back to this one". She is really good at the massage (my favorite) and she does a great job with my callouses and in-grown toenails. They have a nice selection of new quality polish colors.
