Arugula salad
Donald B.

Went to this small and very quaint Italian restaurant in Bethlehem for dinner. We were seated immediately and brought glasses of water. I immediately realized the waitresses were delightfully friendly. Their attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It is a BYOB which is also a plus, so we were able to have our favorite wine with our food. I started with the Arugula salad which was fresh and seasoned with a nice dressing. For my entree, I ordered Capellini Bella Italia. Shrimp, Scallops and Crab meat in a scrumptious Brandy cream sauce. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it until my plate was clean. I highly recommend this restaurant. I know I'll be back soon.

Capellini with seafood

I came here on a Saturday night with my sister, reservations are a must. We arrived early and we were still seated promptly. The service was excellent, the hostess and the server were very attentive and always ensuring that we had everything that we needed throughout our dinner service. We started with the eggplant appetizer which was delicious. Then we shared the seafood cappellini pasta dish which was also very good. Last we shared the ribeye steak with balsamic glaze, this was absolutely fantastic and my favorite dish of the evening! If you're looking for authentic Italian this is your spot. It's perfect to visit with friends or family or a romantic date night out. The ambience was warm and inviting and very relaxing. We had a great night and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Mushroom ravioli appetizer

Great BYOB place for Italian. The warm bread to start is perfect- tempting to fill up. Arugula salad and house salad each come with a mountain of fresh greens. Grilled octopus starter is one of the best versions I've ever had in a restaurant- tender and perfectly cooked tentacles. Occasional specials are worth checking out, especially if mushroom ravioli are one of the options. Choosing one pasta from list is nearly impossible. Lemon spaghetti, Pasta Verde (basil and mint pesto w/ shrimp) are both delish- perfectly cooked noodles, flavorful sauces. If there's still room for dessert, the chocolate mousse cake is good to share. Recommend!

Grilled octopus

Highly recommended!!! Charming restaurant; I love the ambiance of the place. I got arugula salad as an appetizer and grilled octopus for my entree. A portion of the octopus was huge and tasted so good. The service was excellent (our service is Anna). I will be back for sure.

Are reservations needed for mid week dinning?

I think they prefer reservations but I had gone mid-week and there were plenty of tables.

Amazing place. been there on a few occasions before…read more fantastic staff, always service with smile. amazing food, tried a few options, all of them are very nice. and finally, the garlic knots. fresh hot garlic knots show up as soon as you sit. this itself is worth a visit.

We opted indoor by the window and they had the door open so you could still get the weather without being outside. I dreamed of the garlic rolls for years. They are baked fresh throughout the day and evening. Freshly made rolls, drowned in olive oil, and then covered in basically an entire head of garlic. So many dates and girls nights we would have to stash supplies in our bags to cover the smell. It is always beyond worth it, so simple and so perfect. I could write a love letter to these garlic rolls and how I could and possibly have eaten an entire basket by myself. They even reheat well the next day. Got a side of their freshly made sauce and you could see the whole chunks of tomato. Our server was so kind and didn't judge us at all for only wanting the rolls and the sauce. She even described the two options and offered us more if we wanted. The perfect ending to dinner when you want a little more, but cannot handle an entire plate of pasta. Come here for the bread rolls and you will not be disappointed.

Service was great. Freddy our server very professional and thoughtful. He offered recommendations…read moreon the bolognese that we were grateful for. The ambience was nice, clean and a good date night restaurant. They had roses available for sale for valentine's day. The food looked and smelled amazing. I had an asperol spritzer, bisteka and tiramisu. My boyfriend had the Bud bolognese. He said it was pretty good but it was heavy with onions. My plate had a NY strip steak cooked perfectly med rare , broccoli rabe and fingerling potatoes. The steak had great flavor as for the sides they were ok. They didnt have as much flavor as I had expected. The tiramisu was rich and creamy and the brandy kept me warm on my walk back to the car. I have to say one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. The asperol spritz; this was my first time having one ever, so I have nothing to compare, it was ok. It is supposed to be citrus, rhubarb and prosecco, I expected it to have a sweetness but it had an overpowering bitterness kinda like eating orange rind. Id definitely go back for the tiramisu and a few other things I'd like to try on the menu.

This Resteraunt is in a historic building and you can feel the history as you come in. Unfortunately that's where the good points end. Apart from our waitress who was very nice and cordial the rest of the staff had an arrogance about them and the bartender must not receive a lot of tips as she's cold and unresponsive. The food was mediocre at best the fig pizza was good, the baked artichoke smothered in breadcrumbs and over done. The pasta it self was good but the sauce lackluster and tasteless. The chicken melonazze was dry and rubbery. The chairs at the table were a mish mosh of wood and metal and the Caine chairs were ripping guess that's the colonial vibe.
