Unexpected Great Find!! I had received a recommendation from my Condo Manager for an appliance company to fix my washing machine I made an appointment and they never showed up! I found Treasure Coast Appliances on line.( I knew nothing about the company but really needed my machine fixed ASAP)! When I called to make an appointment,the gentleman was extremely gracious and understanding.I explained that I was expecting family in 2 days and desperately needed my washing machine. I received an immediate appointment. The 2 young men who came to my apartment were prompt, courteous, worked really hard, fixed my machine and charged a very fair price.(The machine has been working beautifully for 3 weeks now.) Absolutely the worst customer service ever I called yesterday to make an appointment for today they never showed up. I called the phone number back spoke to the gentleman Marcus on the phone. He was very argumentative, very rude, very aggressive and implied that he had never made an appointment with me although I explained to him I had a voicemail confirming from him directly that he would be at my house today to service our refrigerator that went out. He became so rude. I just told him not to worry about it at that point considering that he was supposed to arrive two hours ago and he did not I would not recommend this company to anybody. Horrible Experience- Diagnosed within 15 minutes as Electronic board on Electrolux dryer. 3 days later he replaced, and at first it didn't work. He pulled dryer apart and 40 minutes later it was running. When asked what the problem was he said he had one of the plugs wrong on the board. That 100% for sure it was the board. I kept the bad board because something didnt feel right. 12 days later dryer did same thing, run for 12 sec and stop. I called Marcus and he said board was covered, but if something else was problem he would have to charge. I bought a board myself and that wasn't the problem. So I called a different tech. He found the problem on the dryer coil. You could see where the coil had been stretch and linked together. Afterwards under my guidance and eyes we put the original board Marcus said was bad back in the dryer and it worked fine. So Marcus rigged our heater coil to temporarily work because he misdiagnosed the problem from the start. Do homework, this guy worked for Tony Mineo for years. A known Scammer in PSL AREA. I OFFERED to let Marcus refund me and I was willing to go away. Not post, and allow him to continue on. The honorable tech I found has been following this poor work for years. Just imagine how Marcus came out again and charged me for a new coil. Did he not think I would test the original control board ? Sad that I had to post this... sad that so many think every customer is an idiot. I work on CNCs, electrician all my life. I got tired of repairing my own stuff and just wanted to find a trustworthy tech. You can't talk your way out of this because it was proven. He rigged the coil to work for "A while" even left the front cover of coil opened a little because only 3/4 of the coils were heating. BUSTED ! read more

WARNING!! BEWARE!!! Do NOT USE TREASURE COAST APPLIANCE REPAIR!!! We randomly (no recommendation) called this company to look at leaking water filter. A guy by the name of Marcus (so called owner) came and quoted us a price of $480 to replace and install housing unit. Although he was priced HIGH we gave him him the job because his timing worked for us. He stated that he would get the part and install it in 2-3 days. That worked for us because we were having company and need water and ice. Several days passed and we never heard from him. We texted him and he said he would get back to us. He proceeds with a text telling us that we would have to wait 2-3 weeks for him to get the part now and that if we wanted it sooner we would have to pay for his gas money on top of the $480!!! For him to get the part. ABSURD!! And mind you if we didn't text him he didn't inform us of this delay. We did not feel this our responsibility to pay for his GAS money, so we simply asked for our deposit back of $249 minus $90 of service fee which is due to him. He did not meet our needs in a timely manner and now refused to give us our deposit back. He told us it is our fault because we do not want to wait for part. He wrote and I quote "you can't go 2-3 weeks without water LOL" The most UNPROFESSIONAL individual I have ever dealt with!!! He continued with a nasty text saying "and I have to bow down to you?" I wish I could do no stars. Guy showed up and borrowed my $300+ flashlight. Checked my dishwasher and said he would be back. After he left I noticed he stole my flashlight I let him use. I only let him use it because he was trying to use his light on his phone. Called and texted him (Tim Konen, tel:772-647-1039) repeatedly for weeks. No answer, ever. He then text me that he couldn't get the part. I continued to text and call for weeks and still no flashlight. I had to call police to create a police report as it's now stolen and this is grand theft for that amount. Now this is great service right? After 4 plus weeks of hounding him and the threat to call the police he finally texted it was in the mail and he had the nerve to tell me I owed him $45 for the crappy diagnosis that he never followed though with. I said put the invoice in the mail with the flashlight and I would take care of it. Still no flashlight. Don't ever use this guy or this place! read more

Treasure Coast fixed the hinges on my Dacor oven on 8/30/17. Within one week the oven door become very difficult to open and close and I called Tim our service person. He agreed it was his responsibility to fix the door but kept stalling me on when he could come out. After multiple calls with no results ,our oven door became stuck open on 9/30/17. Again Tim was called and stalled. Then he sent another company ,General Appliance,to fix it since he was out of town. It turned out this person was a friend of Tim`s who informed us he had moved out of town .He was unable to fix the oven or close the door since he feared he would break it off. We have been left with an oven door wide open since 9/30/17 and I cannot get another company to even look at it until 10/9/17.This is totally unacceptable. this company accepted a job from the maintenance contract we had with Choice Warranty to come look at a inoperative microwave at my renters condo...that was initiated on 7/23....it is now 8/1.....he called my renter who he told he would call back....today she indicated to me that she has talked with him 7 times with him telling her he'd call back and he never did and never made an effort to set up an appointment to follow through on the job he accepted!!....i called him today....told him these facts and simply said....if he can't do the job i need to know to get someone else and tell choice warranty.....he hung up on me!! i called choice warranty and they apologized, will be waiving the $45 initial appointment fee and put in a new order for another company. read more

Contacted Tim to evaluate and possibly repair ice-maker in refrigerator. Arrived to home, determined that ice-maker needed to be replaced. Quoted one price ($240), to acquire new maker, and install two days later. Came back out and installed new ice-maker, quoted an increased price ($260 + tax), i didn't say anything just figured everyone needs to make a living, but that was my first "hmmm" moment with him and this situation. He advised if it didn't work to call him back. Of course, after three days it didn't work. Called Tim, he agreed to come back out on a set date. He didn't show up. I called him, and reminded him of his missed appointment, and he came back the next day. He determined the new ice-maker was "Faulty", and needed to take it with him to get a functioning one, he took the new ice-maker, stating he would return in 2 days with new one. Needless to say at this point, almost 2 months later, after 3 non-answered calls and voicemail's, he isn't going to repair ice-maker, or refund money. It's disappointing that people like this exist, and are so comfortable with taking advantage of others. After deeper research, there are other numerous complaints of theft, fraud and similar circumstances to my experience. Stay away from this business, and person. read more

I contacted this company last Friday re my freezer not properly working on my 2-year-old side-by-side. A person identifying himself as the Owner said his Son was in my area and would come out the same day. A very young man shows up driving a late-model Mercedes (Warning sign). He was very polite. Comes in and starts working on my freezer, but is on the phone the entire time I guess validating problem/diagnosis with home office?? - didn't give me confidence he knew what to do himself. Eventually says I have a freon leak. Gave me 2 options a stop-leak repair that "may" last a couple of years for $365 or purchase a brand new part (Evaporator for $460) I explained to him for the value difference I preferrend a new part. He said he would order the part next day (Saturday 4/19) and then the part would be in on Monday for him to install same day. Monday or Tuesday the young man calls and say the shipping got delayed, and now he will be coming on Wednesday. Sometime late Wed kid calls again and says they are tracking shipping and he'll be here Friday 5/25. I called them a little while ago (They never called me) now they are saying part has to be remanufactured and it was Sears issue and not theirs. I asked both the young man and Owner in separate conversation to refund my $65 as I was tired of all the mis-truths and unkept promises. Keeping in mind not one time did anyone tell me there was a part issue, all the while knowing we are coming up on a holiday weekend and I would be down already for a week. Beware - very BAD experience. 3 Broken promises and mis-truths re shipping vs part needs to be remanufactured..
