Service was good but the food was horrible! When the server asked us if everything tasted alright......we didn't know what to say. I only checked the stars status on yelp and didn't read the comments until right before writing this review. I should've! Someone mentioned that the food tastes the same no matter what you order and that's true. It seems the "chef" only knows one sauce and it is high in sodium overdose from the soy sauce. We ordered three different dishes and were so disappointed that we didn't even eat 1/4 of each dish. We ordered off the dinner menu to share. There were four of us, two kids and two adults and the side of rice they gave us were enough for two small kids or one adult. We will never eat here again because the food is just that disgusting! Good chinese food can be found closer to the Far East Center in Denver. Treasure pot's claim to "authentic" is laughable! Already brushing my teeth and mouth now to get the overdose of sodium out of my mouth. Good thing we're heading to San Francisco's China town the end of this month. Going to start this off by saying that the only reason i'm giving this 2 stars is because I went here a few months ago and had a "passable" Vietnamese bowl. Ordered some pick up again last night and it was honestly one of the worst meals of my life. I threw mine away... The pad Thai was soggy and was swimming in the sweetest sauce I've ever had. I really tried to make it work but it gave me a stomach ache after 3-4 bites. The fried rice was so clearly made with rice that was made hours, if not days ago. It didn't even resemble rice...it was more like a baby food texture. Egg rolls were standard frozen product but they were pretty cold. So the food was bad, even for a cheap Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese place. What really pissed me off was that they charged us full price for veggie fried rice and veggie pad Thai, and did not add any extra veggies. So we essentially got a bowl of soggy noodles and a bowl of soggy rice with a few veggies throw in for $22. Unreal...the meat probably makes up 75% of the cost of that dish. At least give me a decent amount of veggies. read more

I'm sorry but that was the worst restaurant food I've ever had. I had the hot and sour soup that was ok, maybe 5 out of 10. But the panang curry chicken was terrible. The curry is nothing like panang curry I've had. Overly flavored and completely devoid of anything that you would expect panang to taste like. I have only had their lunch buffet, so this review is based on 2 separate visits to their buffet. That said, there will not be a 3rd visit. The buffet here is terrible! As someone who has spent a fair amount of time in China, lived and worked near Chinatown in NYC, and eaten a ton of Chinese food, I can honestly say this was the bottom of the heap. The food tasted greasy and bland, almost like it was re-warmed from the previous nights entrees. Surprisingly, the only thing that tasted reasonably good was the fried rice. Save your money!!! Spent over 50.00 last night 1/16/21. Order was short 2 soups and 4 egg rolls. When I called immediately after arriving home with the food, I called. I was accused of lying. As well asked to understand why THEY couldn't have made a mistake because THEY double checked the order. I have been going to the Treasure Pot for many, many YEARS! In addition the food had very little flavor and was room temp. Time to find a different Chinese restaurant. I am thinking Panda Express, at least the food will be hot and have a taste!!! Well the food was average, maybe alittle below average. There wasnt anything that we ordered that really stood out. The sesame chicken was mediocre, but the teriyaki chicken was actually really good. The biggest complaint is the crab cheese wontons were very old and stale and the price for everything was a bit higher then most places for 2 people, 44$ is quite high. Such tasty food! We were in the mood for some Chinese and I called and placed an order for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered singapore noodles, moo shu shrimp, mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, and crab wontons. Singapore noodles are thin rice noodles with shrimp and pork infused with an amazing spicy curry flavor. It's actually spicy which I appreciate. The mongolian beef was very tender and had so much good flavor. The moo shu shrimp was surprisingly delicious and not as sweet as most other moo shu dishes. The crab wontons were good, but a tad overcooked. Still very tasty. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the hot and sour soup. It was overwhelmingly sour to the point where eating it made us pucker our mouths as if eating a sour candy. Other than that, super delicious and fresh food. Not super greasy or sweet. Just very well made and you can tell they've perfected their recipes. Will definitely eat here again read more

My review of the Treasure Pot...I have tried and tried to get good service from this place. Their food is actually pretty good, however their service and language barriers are awful. I am convinced that their location to Arvada west high school allows them to get away with serving the wrong food to their customers. I however don't think this is acceptable. My need for a good Chinese restaurant has taken me back over and over again but unfortunately the end has come. They aren't attentive to their customers. They send you home with the wrong food and then just say "sorry" when you have to drive back to get what you ordered. It's just a huge disappointment. They appear to be having social hour every time I go in and they completely ignore you whilst looking at their iPad that they seem to be always on but yet you can never order online cause they don't see the order. I think it would be better to go to a 1.00 scoops place then to eat here ever again. It's a shame... cause we are some Chinese food loving people!!! read more

Best Pho in Arvada maybe Denver. All the food is amazing that I have tried so far. Both the chicken and beef pho have great broth, lots of meat (not dry), and good noodles. I could drink the broth its that good. They also offer a buffet at lunch, which I tried. Everything was good on the buffet. The chicken wings were amazing, i never enjoyed Chinese chicken wings until I had these. Not a huge selection on the buffet but everything was worth trying. My husband loves this place and when I've been out of town he seems to be a regular! No home cooking for him :) He convinced me I just had to try it, and we did. I got the peanut curry chicken. The veggies were very fresh, and cooked perfect, no soggy veggies for me thank you! The curry, was the perfect combo of heat and sweet without tasting like I was eating peanut butter. We've been going here for years. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant even though we live 20 mins away. Order the beef skewers if you want a unique appetizer. I discovered the other day that they now have Vietnamese Pho. I ordered the Tai Chin (rare steak and well done brisket), size large. It came with the usual sprouts and Thai basil. This was the best Pho I've ever had. The large is huge and will satisfy even the fattest of men. The service is sometimes slow, and my Westerra credit card gets rejected every time I go and I have to use a different one. Party of 6 for dinner tonight. Everyone was pleased with their entres and appetizers. Impressive pu pu platter was fun to eat. I had hot and sour soup and found the flavors to be subtle. I prefer an assault of hot and sour. I would go back but with a smaller group. The dishes didn't emerge from the kitchen together. 4 of us had our appetizers while 2 waited. By the time their's appeared, 4 had finished. Same with the entres. 5 received their meals and one waited. We were a happy group, so this didn't spoil our evening. So.... we ordered our dinner as a delivery at about 8:30, but after an hour started to wonder what had happened to it. On a good day we may have contacted the restaurant and gotten a credit for a future order but decided we were probably not going to order from there again.
