He arrived with his assistant Jason and got right to work, toppling our tree with efficiency and safety in mind. Several shrubs encroached on our house and roof, and blocked our windows. Everything came down smoothly and quickly. They came back the next day to stump grind and clean up. I was a potential customer for this company. On 10/01/19 I called them for an estimate to trim back some branches that are encroaching over the fences from my neighbors yards. On 10/02/19 finally around 4:30pm I received a call back from Anna and as I picked up to start talking she hung up so I called her right back and had to leave another message and waited for another 20 minutes before she called me back and said I must have butt dialed you and that she needed to call me back anyway. We start talking about days that would work for us and she had one day in mind but it was not good for me, so I gave her 3 other options that would work and she couldn't give any answer and said that she would have to call me back with the answer on 10/03/19. On 10/03/19 at 7am I called them again to set up a day and a time and once again no answer ... still waiting for her to call me back. This company only has 2 guy's on the job and 2 guys on call and no cherry-picker or a lift. 10/04/19 by this time I have called 4 other companies and have had quicker responses back. At this point I will not be using this company. Poor customer relations, lack of  communication, therefore their services are probably poor and worthless. read more

We contacted Dmitriy with Tree Expert NW, LLC to give us an estimate to prune our trees. He came promptly and immediately noticed that the trees suffer from a sickness that makes them hazardous and subject to failure. He prepared a report for us which was detailed and professionally written, which we used to submit a permit removal application with the city. As part of this process, he has been extremely responsive when the city forester contacted him for clarification questions, and also followed up with us promptly every time. Dmitriy and his crew spent 4 days on our property culling dead firs, removing dead branches, thinning trees and stump grinding to 6" below grade. After using many tree contractors over the past 33 years this company has surpassed all in professionalism, knowledge, quality of work and ability to work quickly but with safety in mind for all. Absolutely professional, and as good as it gets for full service tree service in the Pacific Northwest. These guys really do have insurance, bonding and provide free estimates. Their estimates were competitive, and adhered to. The crew that showed up acted professionally, were expedient, and wore proper safety gear which calmed any legal concerns. They left the place in perfect condition upon departure form the property. The equipment that was brought to the site was newer and in good working order. These guys are amazing! To have a contractor EXCEED your expectations is rare. These guys have done it twice! I first hired them 2 years ago to clear some trees, and trim the tops of some, to reveal the view on a piece of property I was listing for sale in Washougal. The property was rough, with some slope, and they hauled limbs down the hill to the chipper, and topped a few extra trees to widen the view all without complaint. And even though the property was still mostly natural (undeveloped), they cleaned their work area thoroughly so the property looked great for the listing photos. I recently hired them again to cut down 3 trees in my yard that were approximately 60' tall. Two of the trees were next to the driveway and I had a 50' row of daffodils blooming between them and the driveway. Dmitry asked if I wanted to save the daffodils and I asked if it would be possible to drop the limbs on the opposite side, as much as possible. They did even better. He had his guys dig up all 50 ft of daffodil bulbs and place them in plastic garbage bags so that I could save them! I placed them on the other side of the driveway, in the shade of a hedge, and took the kids to the park to keep them out of the guys' way. When we got back Dmitry had moved the bags containing the bulbs to the shade of a tree on the other side of the yard because the sun had shifted and he was afraid they would die in the direct sun. Seldom do you find workers with this level of awareness or concern for the homeowner. Once the trees were removed and the stumps ground out Dmitry's guys replanted all 50' of daffodils back where they originally were! I could not have been happier! They did a very professional job of removing the trees (they were like aerial artists swinging between the trees), they cleaned up the work site thoroughly when they were done, and showed a level of respect for the integrity of my yard that is rarely seen.
