My experience was mixed. I initially wanted a quote to remove a street tree that was damaging a…read morepublic sidewalk. We discussed the possible issues regarding city tree removal permitting, site specific challenges etc. and received a quote of $2700 to remove the tree and grind the stump. I filled out and returned the permit application and waited for city approval. Approx. 6 weeks later I got a call from Evergreen and was told the city denied my permit for a few reasons but that they would allow a structural pruning and gave me a quote for two trees witch was almost as much as the one tree removal. I went ahead and approved the work and gave a deposit. Later I sent an email to the city arborist asking for clarity on why the permit was denied and was told their office had no record of the denial yet. I was a bit annoyed that Evergreen made it sound like the denial was a done deal and scheduled the pruning before any official denial was recorded or given to me directly by the city. I would have waited until it was officially denied in writing before proceeding. If there was any chance that the permit had been approved I likely would have had to eat the pruning cost for the one tree AND paid the removal cost later.

They basically lied to me and talked me into a structural prune instead. The city did NOT deny my permit at that time but instead requested additional info from Evergreen which was never received . As of now the permit has expired. My guess is Evergreen did not want to take the time to satisfy the city request at the bid price and just wanted to move on. The whole purpose of wanting the tree removed was to facilitate a sidewalk repair so I have spent $2100 on pruning 2 trees and still have a busted sidewalk to deal with somehow. Thanks.

I realized I needed help after several hours in the hot sun. After getting bids from three other gardening providers on Yelp, I ended up choosing Joseph. And am I glad I did! He came out and after walking through my overgrown pollinator garden, he gave me a quote which was pretty much consistent with the others. Big difference? He communicates well, he is ethical, he shows up on time, works hard, cleans up afterward. He is also a nice man who cares about the quality of what he does. Joseph is knowledgeable about many plants and trees. To his credit, when he encountered one he wasn't familiar with, he set about educating himself so he would do things right. He pruned my Mock Orange, Oregon Grapes, my Japanese Maple, a wildly out of control espaliered Apple tree, thinned out some fading seasonals, and pulled up a dying azalea I'd tried, but failed, to bring back. Then pulled out the overgrown weeds from my curb and sidewalk to make it all look more tidy. I'll be calling Joseph again, absolutely. You should, too. My before photos aren't uploading after three tries. Hmmmm. Trust me though, things were out of control.

From the beginning, Alex (the owner) impressed us with his thoughtful planning, clear communication, and confident approach to a destroyed yard: a post-construction disaster zone wherein our entire quarter-acre plot of land was turned into a pit of uneven, impacted mud. Our project involved building a retaining wall, grading, improving drainage, and hauling away a large dump truck of poor quality fill dirt. It was a tough job, but they handled it with incredible professionalism and skill from start to finish. Not only did they tackle the hard work with skill and efficiency, but they also went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right--down to the last detail, suggesting water timers and tripod sprinklers that worked well. Their team was professional, and respectful. The dumpster company he hired accidentally knocked over my mailbox. I texted him about it the evening I noticed it; it was replaced by the next morning. Also, Alex genuinely seemed to care about the outcome, calling and later stopping by after a week to check the progress. The end result was even better than we imagined. What was once a sad and frustrating yard is now beautiful, usable, and a joy to spend time in again. We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for quality landscaping--especially for projects that are a challenge or too difficult for others. We've worked with All Around since we bought our house in '16. They have only every performed the best work, timely, affordable, and safely. I cannot use enough superlatives to describe their work. Every time we've had work done, we've come with a laundry list of questions, and Mike, Kyle, and everyone else has been patient and clear in helping us learn alongside their work. Most recently, in the ice storm that hit Feb '21, we lost a HUGE oak tree that toppled over our fence line, and onto two neighboring structures. Without a moment's hesitation, we phoned up Mike and the crew to get them on the job. They went above and beyond - helping navigate insurances from all three affected properties, piecing out the bid appropriately, and resulting in us getting the BEST out of our deductible. The job itself was a sight to see! A 210 ton crane was brought in, and the team was efficient, effective, and SAFE. Even knowing the level of care All Around puts into their work, I think we were all on tenterhooks until we started seeing the team take this massive tree out in such a way that it looked like anyone could. It was like watching the best jazz musicians make a ridiculously complex song look simple. The only downside was that we didn't get much work done that day because we were mesmerised with the removal! All this to say: if you need tree work - don't hesitate to contact All Around. Wow! What a great experience! When I called for an estimate for shaping and maintaining two large trees (a walnut and a cherry), Mike came out the next day, exactly at the time he said. He was super friendly, and showed real respect for the beauty of the trees and the integrity of my little landscape, even though my job was going to be pretty small. He quoted a fair price and we set a date. The tree workers arrived right on time (actually a few minutes early), and were equally friendly and professional. Mike himself dropped by as they were getting set up, just to be sure everyone understood the job. They finished within an hour. Their equipment makes some noise, and this particular job required them to walk on my roof, but they were quick and efficient, and really minimized disruption to me and the neighborhood. The results are beautiful: lots more light without compromising desirable shade or the grace of the trees. Ane they even swept my entire driveway of the season's walnut debris while they were cleaning up. You just can't beat this level of service. I'm extremely pleased. read more

If you are like us, you probably have some tree trimming work that you've been thinking about doing, and then suddenly a storm occurs and you have some big branches come down and a big old widow maker of a branch is hung up in the tree! So now it is time to call in the professionals! All Around Arbor was professional at every turn. Michael scheduled an appointment to review the work and give us a bid and he showed up on time, and provided us their proposal by day end. After reviewing several bids, we selected All Around Arbor. On the appointed day, they arrived and got set up. They approached the work carefully and one tree at a time, took down the limbs we had discussed, consulted with us when there were questions or issues, dragged the branches to the chipper, and after chipping all of the downed branches, carefully cleaned up all of the work areas, quite honestly leaving it in better condition than they found it! Michael has a very conscientious crew and they work well together as a team. I highly recommend this company and we will phone them for any future work we need! read more

I hired All Around Arbor to trim (4) large, mature trees in my yard and completely remove (2) smaller trees. When I called, Mike was quick to respond, very professional, provided me with a thorough quote and they were able to schedule me in within a few days. Showed up on time, did what they were supposed to do, and left my yard SPOTLESS. I wasn't able to stick around while they were working, so when I got home later, there was one of the trees that I wasn't satisfied with. I'm picky (wife says OCD). I phoned Mike, described my issue, and he was nice about it, and had one of the guys out the very next day to fix it. Again, professional, and left things very clean. I have hired other Arborists in years past, and it wasn't great. These guys, however, were way better. Overall, I felt like they did a great job, AND did it at a great price, AND took care of my only issue without any argument or "push-back". You can't get any better than that. read more

Highly Recommend! We had a tree removal and stump grinding project completed by this company this week, and the entire experience was outstanding. The owner Mike was fantastic to work with--friendly, responsive, and very accommodating with scheduling as well. The arborist crew that handled the tree removal on day one and the gentleman that completed the stump grinding on day two were both professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. They worked efficiently, paid attention to detail, and did an excellent job from start to finish. They went above and beyond, and also took the time to answer questions and ensure we were completely satisfied with the work. The quality of the service exceeded our expectations, and the property was left looking great when the job was done. We couldn't be happier with the results. 10/10 recommend! We had a huge tree to be removed in a difficult spot. Another tree service looked at it and never came up with a quote. Mike and his team removed and replaced fencing, brought everything down without damage to any homes, yards, or fencing, and cleaned up well. They did excellent work, and were courteous and prompt. There were a couple of hitches and the way they were handled makes me confident i would hire them again. Some fencing that was put back up hadn't been secured; an employee came and fixed it that night. The removal of the pieces cut down took several days. Mike explained it was a group not affiliated with his business, but a deal of mutual benefit for the 2 businesses that left him limited control. He however, followed through by contacting clean up crews until it was completed. Once people came for the final pieces of wood, they too did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves, and were courteous. read more

After experiencing this company first hand, I can say that I received the quality and service described and then some. Mike, the owner, came professionally dressed and well-mannered. Treated me with the utmost kindness and took the time to go over every nuance of what my trees needed. He advised me of what we can and cannot do in regard to pruning and preserving my tree's health. I feel like I learned so much about the trees in my yard after talking to Mike. The crew that came out for the pruning work continued to surprise. They were all nice young men with smiles on there faces - and when they were finished it was as though the trees were smiling as well. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Mike. The All Around Arbor crew showed up at my residence on 06/19/2026, on time and ready to go. The crew did a excellent job removing a tree and trimming 2 others that should have been done decades ago. The team was excellent at communicating what the plan was before, during and after the job was done to my satisfaction. I can't remember the team leader's name but was very impressed at his devotion to ensure the job was completed with my total satisfaction. The crew did an excellent job cleaning and removing all the debris from the job. Awesome service from All Around Arbor! We lost a large tree limb in a recent wind storm and found this company on Yelp. They came out same-day to assess the tree (and deemed it a total loss...boo, they were just as sad as we were), gave us a quote, and scheduled to come out the next week to take the tree out. Mike was super professional and friendly. The quote was beyond reasonable - much less than we thought we'd pay to have a large tree removed. The guys that came out for the tree removal were also courteous and professional. They completely cleaned up the mess that removing a tree leaves behind - you wouldn't even know they had been there, except that we were down a tree. Money very well spent. This company goes above and beyond with its attention to detail, customer service, and hard working crew. I called to get an estamite on trimming a cherry tree. Ryan came out the next day, and gave me a very reasonable quote. The crew arrived on time, on the scheduled day of trimming. This crew was very friendly and polite. I had put an inadquate layer of plastic over my pond which sits beneath my cherry tree, the crew nicely covered the pond with some boards to prevent branches falling in. I was amazed at how well these guys work together. Efficient and effective what else can I say. I now have a beautiful tree, and a cleaner yard than when they arrived. We had severe damage to 20 very large Oak trees from the ice storm this year. What a mess. There were broken limbs everywhere and some very high hanging limbs. We called several companies for help. All Around Arbor came through with the best and most complete bid. We can't say enough good about them. Their customer service is outstanding, they are responsive, knowledgeable and we felt very confident that our 100-year+ oaks were in great hands. They spent 2 full days removing hanging branches, trimming unhealthy branches, and cleaned up every bit of mess on the ground. Now, our trees are amazing and our field looks like a park. We heard about All Around Arbor from some friends of ours that were very pleased with the work they did on their property. After speaking with Mike I was put at ease about the situation. He was very knowledable and professional in appearance and gave me a very reasonable price on trimming our 100 year old Oak tree in our backyard. I actually hire a different tree company but that company flaked, not once but twice! Basically leaving me in the lurch with a tree permit about to expire and a contractor that I had to keep rescheduling. Called All Around Arbor on Friday at the start of the Fourth of July weekend. Mike came by that day and gave me a great estimate. Hired them on the spot and scheduled a time for them to take down the tree. Mike and the rest of the crew showed up on time and within 90 minutes, my 45 foot tall street maple was gone. It was fun to watch such a talented crew. On time, great price, and very professional! I recommend them strongly. I had a big dead cherry tree that has needed to come down for a year...I put it off for far too long. Their price was less than another bid, so I went ahead and had an unruly laurel taken down too. I went with All Around because of the great reviews here and on a neighborhood site, and I'm glad I did. The estimate was done quickly, communication was great, and the team that came out was FAST, careful to not damage my (already kinda ghetto) yard, and they cleaned up after themselves. A large Douglas Fir on my new property was tipping towards the street after an apparent several years of issues. I received 4 different opinions, ranging in perspective and price, I selected All Around Arbor to remove the tree. I could not be more pleased. The process took a little under an hour to remove this giant from my yard, and the team worked very efficiently and skillfully. They were respectful of my property, openly communicative and very personable. The team worked hard to prepare the trunk wood based on several usage ideas I threw at them... I can't say enough good things about All Around Arbor. We had a huge job removing three big trees and had ten total trees worked on (skirted, cleaned, and cabled). We got three bids and All Around gave us the most clearly detailed and competitive bid. We had to wait about a month to get on the schedule because they are very busy, but I am so glad we did. They showed up early, finished early, did impeccable work, and were polite and efficient. They completely cleaned up the yard (raking and blowing) and even blew the small debris off the roof. I was just blown away by what a fabulous job their crew did on my trees. They worked like a well oiled machine, each knew just what they were doing, and what the others were doing. Working, working, working. Everything went without a hitch, cleanup went great, and left everything cleaner than before they started. They took down a huge poplar tree with two trunks that was in a tight spot between my house and the neighbors. They also did some other trimming up of a couple of other trees. They answered all my questions and the pricing was fair. Three men came out to remove the tree, the were polite, professional, and pleasant. Based on the numerous five star reviews posted here I'm sure I would be quite happy with the work they do. Unfortunately, MTC was the highest bidder (by far) so I really had to go with a more economical choice. Found a small, local company with a great arborist who bid well under 1/2 what MTC was asking. So, if you are price conscious you might want to look at obtaining several quotes. If your prime objective is great service from staff and a great outcome from the crew who does the work, I'm sure you will be happy with these guys. Even though I wound up choosing a different company I felt that anything short of a five star review would be inappropriate since I was totally happy with the treatment I received from everyone working there.

I got some bids and found Monkeyman's to be the most competitive - expensive, but very reasonable for the job. They took their time cutting the tree down, which I appreciated because it could have done a lot of damage. I think they were here for three days working on it before it was finally completed. One of the limbs did fall on the house and do some damage, but their staff were very helpful and proactive in having it fixed and covering the cost for the full repair. Everyone we worked with was great and I felt like we made the right call going with Monkeyman's. Would definitely hire them again.
