The pizza here is not that great. The place is often crowded with ignorant drunks and the age of the crowd looks barly twenty one on the weekends. During the week people come for lunch and there is a little more room. If they ever widen irving park road this place will be history and it will be no great loss. Three Guys has fantastic Pizza and most of the rest of the food is top notch as well. I really like what they did with the remodeling. As a sports bar, they've got very good placement of TV Screens so you can see the game of your choice. My only complaint is that their wine is a little pricey. read more

Terrible service but good pizza .... I've been there two times and both times we have had the same terrible server . The first time we ate there we had pizza and ordered chicken fingers and she forgot to put the order of fingers in! By the time they came out we were almost done with our food and the poor kid couldn't even eat them right away cause they were so hot ! We decided to go back and got the same shity server again!!! We could tell she didn't want to serve us .... took our drink order and then went to go eat and play on her phone .... 15 minutes later another server took our order.... while our original server was on her phone .... our original server brought the food but never to return ! The buss boy had to ask if I wanted a re fill cause she was too busy doing nothing ! Once she brought our bill we waited another 15 minutes for her to come back .... which she never did ! This place has been here for years. It's a place where you see everyone you know around town. Food is okay, the outside patio is nice to sit out on a nice warm night. I moved to Itasca this January and was pleasantly surprised to find a local pizza joint so close by. Been in about 8 times and ordered out about 6 times and every time we love the food and they have a good selection of beers to boost. Friday lunch buffet is cheap and decent options. The bar definitely has a "dive bar" feel, but much cleaner and awesome food. The restaurant is also nice and has a great outdoor patio. The pizza is a bit expensive, but it is well worth the price! My recommendation, thin pepperoni pizza or the burger sliders. read more

Grew up in Itasca. This hole is a staple in our diet. The pizza is pretty good, not the best, but I am a pizza snob. However, this place is always full of the local filth, so for a nasty, antisocial, prick like me, its absolutely terrible to dine in. Particularly on Thursday night cheap wings for filth night. It fills up with every vile beast I can't stand to sit around, get drunk and stuff themselves until they feel the need to wander in a stupor into the middle of Irving Park. Our department lunch today was from Tree Guys and I ordered a beef sandwich w/ fries. The sandwich had absolutely no juice and the beef wasn't good either. The best thing were the hot peppers. The bread was literally DRY. I've had their pizza in the past as well and even that's just ok. Maybe I'm spoiled by living around pretty much all great food/restaurants (in the city) but Tree Guys is another reason why I can say the food around this area; Itasca & Elk Grove Village is horrible!! read more

I travel to Wood Dale area a few times a year for business. Last year I stumbled across Tree Guys as they were listed in the hotel guide for local eateries. Let me tell you, it's an amazing place that serves delicious food for dine in or delivery. I usually stick to delivery to the hotel as I am always busy and don't have a lot of time to go out in the evenings. First up, Delivery is aways very very fast. They have always arrived quicker than they said the food would be ready. This is a definite plus! The food is packaged very well and is aways hot. Second, the Food! You must order the pizza! Order the smaller sizes as they tend to run thicker and heavier than a normal pizza. You cannot get better fried mushrooms than the ones at Tree Guys. Simply delicious! The wings are also very tasty! The prices are very reasonable and I always enjoy ordering from them at least one day out of the week I am in town. read more

I can't even review them for their food because we never had the opportunity to eat here and I'll tell you why. It's 7:00 Friday night, April 12th. My son and I wanted some pizza and I had always wanted to try this place. It's a Friday night and it's packed. I enter through the back and I'm along with a bunch of other people that are "waiting". There's a counter with 2 girls and 1 woman. One is answering phones, one is on a computer and I discover through asking that the "woman" was the hostess. Now I'm standing at the counter kind of surveying the crowd and how busy they are patiently waiting for someone/anyone to acknowlege I am standing here and maybe a "can I help you?" A good 15 minutes goes by. Then the "hostess" proceeds to call out a name. I ask her "are you the hostess?". I get a snotty "YES!". Allrighty then. She's already set the tone for me. I tell her party of 2 and my name. I wait another 10 minutes and decide you know...I don't really think this is starting out good and it's probably not going to end much better. I realize it's a Friday night and you are busy but Customer Service goes a long way in getting people to frequent your business and/or come back. Can't say that I will. This place has horrible service. Their food is ok. I ordered wings and they barely put sauce on them. They charge you for a little ranch, and for sauce on the side. Their drinks taste very watery. I will never come back here again. I was so disappointed but you can't do anything about it they just don't care. My plate was dirty and the waitress looked annoyed when I asked for a new one. All the counter ladies do is go outside and smoke even if it's busy they are so careless. Go to lou malnatis instead! Their service is better, and so is their food. The waitress doesn't ask you how your doing, they ignore you, they're rude and disrespectful. Basically you place your order and go up to pay and they force the tip on your check which they don't deserve for being so lazy and uncaring. I have been coming here for years. They had a recent renovation of the bar area, enlarging it and sprucing it up. You can sit at the bar or tables in the bar area, in the adjoining room, or outside. The food selection is better than most bars. They have a number of salads you can choose from, daily specials and decent buffets. The beer selection is superior. They currently have Bells Two-heart, Bells amber, a local Church Street brew option, the ever present Guinness and Harp, along with others. We usually do take out from Tree Guys and we love it!! The delivery guys are great and so is the food. Tonight we decided to dine in, what a mistake. We waited over an hour for our pizza. What was unfortunate is we didn't mind waiting, but when we asked how long it was going to be our waitress was extremely rude. Behavior from a waitress/hostess is completely unacceptable. But what was even more amazing was when we got our pizza it was burned. We just let her know because she asked and she turned around and walked away! Who does that??!! And her talking to the rest of the staff is behavior of a child. Her on her phone and eating was more important, so she had another waitress finish us up. There aren't a lot of pizza places in the area that we haven't tried. I however wanted a real pizza place. I didn't want delivery, $5 pizza, Italian restaurant that makes pizza too or a fast food place that makes pizza. I wanted the kind you walk into where the table already has the pizza holders, red pepper and parm cheese already set up. They didn't disappoint. We ordered 2 individual size pizzas, combo basket and the kids mac and cheese. We had an all sausage half mushroom, green pepper, & onion pizza. Hubby had sasage, pepperoni & green olives (gross to me but he enjoyed it). They had just the right amount of toppings for me. The combo basket had enough to share between the 3 of us. Although I would of liked a couple more cheese sticks. It comes with 2 and their the only thing our daughter liked. Our waitress was a doll to our little one who always wants to talk. We'll be back again. Everything was tasty and we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. read more

This place has good wings and calamari, but other than that I would not recommend this place to a friend. The place is so small and when there is waits, you have no where to sit other then outside. There is a small bench that can fit like 5 people. Once it gets busy, the service is terrible. Especially the people who are seating you. I was with my 16 year old daughter and one of her friends at the time and I don't know if they didn't see me, but they were SO RUDE to them.
