I was here twice in one week--once for their family friendly New Year's Eve party and once for their half price Sunday. The New Year's Eve party was of great value to me--less than $30 and it included 300 chips on a card (even though the piece of paper enclosed in the envelope said 100), unlimited play on the non-ticket games, and a family friendly buffet. The soft drink selection was great and even included Fanta, Dr. Pepper, and lemonade! The buffet (again, remember, family friendly!) had sliders, chicken nuggets, pizza, fries, fruit, donut holes, and churros. I had to ask someone for ketchup--I am not sure how they did not anticipate that question with all of the kids around, but the staff was friendly and efficient. I not-so-secretly was hoping they were going to serve these mini beef wellingtons I got to sample at their soft open, but again, I know they are making that time slot family friendly. The event was well decorated, they had party favors galore, and they even did a balloon drop! 10/10 would attend again. 1/2 price Sunday was also fun! I have never been to Dave & Buster's so long before that I actually experienced game fatigue. I had collected so many credits with coupons for the party of 4 that we actually still have 1K left--I suggested hitting up a different location to see if there are different games! My mom did the Human Crane for funsies--she picked up a ton of prizes, but as per the rules that are clearly listed, she was only allowed to keep one. She kept a giant branded donut float for my teenaged daughter to use at the pool. It didn't look big inside the Human Crane, but it took up most of the trunk and then the living room once it was inside the house. (It is now deflated and neatly rolled up until summer!) If there was an issue with a game, it was resolved quickly by alerting the staff. I had an error message on the Spiderman coin game, the football game was not registering my card, etc. No biggie, the staff came and fixed it and gave me the equivalent chips back. After being there for many hours in one week, I am not rushing to go back, but I look forward to seeing what other events they have to offer!

Finally checked out the newest DnB to the Chicagoland area. Overall, it was a nice vibe. Games were all working, there was ample parking and certainly felt secure. The two stories was a new aspect for me but in some ways it felt like less games than other locations. Certainly, a lot of driving games and ones you can do with or w/o a challenger. The prices were pretty mixed. The avg chips per game seemed about 4.5. The reward store had a decent selection though we opted to hold and wait until our next visit. The dining areas were super large. I only ordered drinks but the server was nice and informative. FYI Free refills on soda and teas. Would recommend a visit. I do plan to come back here again. However, because it is a longer drive than other locations, I would like to do when the mall is open.

Dave & Buster's Schaumburg is finally opened and replaced the dark empty space that was Gameworks (RIP - so many memories there). I'm so glad that they placed a Dave & Buster's here to continue the arcade/restaraunt/bar feel in this building.I got nostalgia as soon as I walked through the doors, they've been locked since the pandemic began. The layout is 2 floors - there are bars on both floors, as well as games on both floors. The dining area is only downstairs. There's a bunch of games to choose from to play and everything is remodeled inside and looks so new and modern it looks great. The only downside is I was a bit disappointed that some games were not working (stealing credits) upon swiping my card, it didn't work, but maybe that will resolve as the building literally just opened Tuesday. I'd recommend a visit, it's a big building and is a great time.

Wow! Having practically grown up at the Game Works that used to be here, it is so nice to see what Dave and Busters has done to transform the space and give it new life. Obviously this location has only been open a week, so everything was as new, sparking, and clean as could be!!! Definitely a night and day difference from Gameworks which was showing such signs of age towards the end. Good food selection. Typical bar food is what you get here and there's ample seating and servers to help you. So many games both new and even few classics thrown in too!!! Video games and ticket games even pinball. We have been to other locations of Dave and Busters and have to say that this location has the best selection of games and the best layout. I really hope that they can keep this location as clean and nice as it is right now. If that's the case, we can definitely see ourselves coming back and enjoying time with our son here more!!!!

Congratulations to Dave & Buster's on opening a great place in Schaumburg for food and fun! There are games for all ages to enjoy. I'm looking forward to happy hour gatherings here, too. There are some unique and tasty drinks on the menu, like a watermelon margarita and crafted martinis. Delicious flatbread options and shareable plates like nachos. There's a lot of space here upstairs and downstairs, and the large screens make it easy to watch sporting events. Congratulations again to the awesome team at D&B Schaumburg!

I'll leave a better review next time after I try out some of the newer games. We went to Kurimu and decided to check out the newest D&B location. I love that they kept games on both floors like how GameWorks had it. Restrooms can also be found on both floors and they were clean. You can eat downstairs but they also have a bar upstairs. Plenty of seating in both areas. There's an elevator if you're handicapped/have a stroller or just plain lazy. Judging from the appearance itself, it looks way better than the Addison and Rosemont locations. I know people complain about the food, but to be honest you could just eat at Chipotle and walk over to play games. Schaumburg has a diverse amount of restaurants to choose from. I'll give 5 stars for now.

Although friendly greeting and being seated immediately, that went well. Where this train started going off the rails was when the waiter returned with our beverages it was obvious he had been somewhere eating because he had remnants of food on his mouth and was "smacking" his lips. We had to repeat request for things. Now, he was pleasant however not professional. Where we were seated there was trash (food and a straw) on the floor between the tables and no one even attempted to clean the floors around us. (Although I personally don't like sweeping around the table while eating because dirt and debris flys around when people use the brooms). For everything we ordered it was a bit salty in areas as if not distributed well. On one side of the dish it was extremely salty and the other side needed a touch of salt. Then when mixed the whole dish was almost too salty. Although we were told we had gotten there right after brunch there were very few customers, however even 30minutes in we still had not received our main courses. Disappointed is an understatement. Oh, and even after asking for the check took quite long. Suggestion to management at this location... Do better.

I'll start with the service. We had Danielle as a server and she was fantastic! She was friendly, happy, and very efficient! I loved her spirit, it made our experience so much better. We ordered non-Irish food, but it is a bar, so expect bar food. We ordered Chicken Wings with BBQ Sauce and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Both came with fries and the portions were quite massive! The flavors were not exciting or different, but was delicious. The wings were lightly fried and the BBQ sauce wasn't too punchy. It was very mild. The home made cole slaw was great. It had a cruncy texture and was delicious. The hot chicken sandwich had the necessary spice for Nashville Hot Flavor. Also delicious. They have a vast selection of drinks and the bar is quite large. You walk in, and you're walking in an old Irish bar, wood and reminders of Guiness wherever you go! I really enjoyed our experience and the food. I didn't see too many Irish dishes, but the menu was quite large. The service was great and the food was delicious. I'm glad I finally went in to Finn McCool's.

Brunette bartender with a lovely accent was so sweet and attentive and funny! Walked over a couple nights later, and it was drastically different. The bartender (Lindsey) was constantly complaining to a customer (seems she knew him) about her co workers, it was a little uncomfortable because we could hear everything seeing as we were the only ones at the bar. Lastly, she was so rude and pushy about taking my plate when I still had food on it. The third or fourth time she asked me if I was "done with my food" I just said yeah take it. Even though I wasn't done. We finished our drinks and left.

What a waste of time!…read more So we have passes to Legoland in Florida and with our pass one of our benefits is we get to go to all other attractions they own in America so we were like why not come here it's something new! Upon arrival we went to the front desk where their employee started off immediately telling us we can't go in because we don't have a kid which we were unaware of and that didn't really matter to us because we go to parks and attractions all over the world it's part of what we do I said this to her and she instantly started like shaming us for wanting to come here which I don't understand why as yes there are kids attractions but there's also a 4D cinema as well as a dark ride from what I can see online and those alone would be cool to experience because why not. So it does say you have to have a kid on their website where you buy tickets which is something that we didn't check because we already have a pass benefit to come here which when we bought the passes it doesn't say anywhere that you have to have a kid to come here it just has a list of attractions we can get into! That right there needs to be explained better to the point of why are we paying for benefits that we can't use? Like I said we visit and experience attractions for all ages all over the world and it was a bummer not being able to come here just for that reason alone as us seeing what their is to do here isn't hurting anyone it actually would have been in their benefit to let us experience it as we have many friends with kids in the area as well as well as those who travel to attractions all over so now when we get asked how our experience was we will let them know not to go here and by the other Yelpers reviews I can tell that it's only a matter of time until this place closes their doors along with the rest of the business dying in the area. Overall the vibe with their employee was very awkward and this whole experience was a total waste of our time!

It's hard to find a redeeming quality about this place. I can easily list everything you'll find…read moreinside: - an admittedly impressive large recreation of Chicago with a ton of Easter eggs to be found - a really small jungle section with like three large animals built out - a virtual reality ride that costs extra - a ride/game where you shoot at targets and projector screens as you go through the ride - a helicopter kind of ride that goes around like a merry-go-round and you can go up and down - a little indoor playground - a 10-ish minute 4D movie (so 3D glasses, wind blows on you, a little water sprays on you) - a few free build areas with Lego and Duplo - a little cafe - a Lego store on your way out That reads like a lot, right? I mean, it's fine for a couple hours, but it's really not worth the price of admission. If you have a kid who is of an age that might like this, you're probably better off going to one of those indoor playground where they only charge per child and not adult. The literal only thing of interest to an adult here would be the Chicago display, older kids will probably get bored too easily, and younger kids will probably play most with the indoor playground like mine did. Don't be fooled - this is nothing like the large Legoland theme parks elsewhere. The Dave & Busters in the same strip mall has more to do than here. Heck the furniture store is bigger. Maybe if you have cheap or free tickets it's an ok way to kill time, but don't make a trip out of it.
