Good Mexican option for the area, with delicious Mexican flavors and spices. The birrria ramen and quesabirria were particularly good. Service was friendly.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Sabōr De Mi Tierra Mexican Grill on Lake Street in Addison. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with unique artwork and cozy lighting. The service was top-notch - attentive and friendly. The food was truly exceptional, with authentic flavors that delighted my taste buds. I highly recommend trying their specialty, the Birria. It was incredibly tender and packed with delicious flavors. The outdoor patio was bustling and the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The addition of a warm fire pit enhanced the cozy ambiance. Overall, Sabōr De Mi Tierra is a gem of a restaurant that clearly cares about both the quality of their food and the overall dining experience. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more of their delicious dishes. ¡Gracias por una experiencia gastronómica increíble!

First time and it will not be the last. Met my Consuegra (the mother of my daughter-in-law) and her sister for lunch at this charming Mexican restaurant. Lively decorated, friendly service, and comfortable inside and the outdoor space. My friends like their tacos and enchiladas very much. I decided to go with something different, Tlacoyo. This is of pre-Hispanic origin and made of blue masa, an oval-shaped patty topped with nopales, salsa, fresh onion, cilantro, and cheese you can eat it the same way you would eat a pizza slice, pick it up with your hand and bite right into it. I liked it, the masa was lacking moisture, but it was good. Reasonable prices, good food, I will be back.

I came in on a Saturday evening and the parking lot was pretty full. It was very busy inside. They also offer outdoor seating. They gave me chips and salsa and some sort of soup to start. The soup was very flavorful. The chips were a bit hard. The salsa was okay. I wasn't a huge fan of it. The agua fresca jamaica was good. Refreshing on a hot day. Now the birria burrito was amazing. I've had birria tacos before, but never a burrito. It was a little messy, but worth it. I would definitely get this again. There are so many birria options. I would love to come back and try the ramen, the nachos, and the tacos.

The food is ok but over priced 10 oz of steak for $37-45 dollar also tip added automatically for table of 5 tip $45

Visited with my wife and in-laws, plus my mother, over a weekend. They give you a pasta soup type of thing after you place your order, which is complementary, and we all thought it was pretty tasty. They also provided chips and salsa, the red salsa was extremely spicy, but we loved it. I went with I think the quesbirria or something like that, and my wife got the chicken enchiladas . I thought the Birria tacos were good, but not amazing. My wife's chicken enchiladas were very tasty though. The waitress was very kind and checked up on us Several times. The bill was relatively cheap. And I will definitely come back to try some more food ambience was family friendly and I thought I had a very great Mexican theme.

Husband ordered for pick up. Waited over 20 mins so checked in for status. Lady staff checked and it was sitting behind the counter wall the whole time. Asked how long it has been sitting there and with an attitude told my hubby it's been busy. Well it's not our problem is it? I got the quesabirria tacos combo pack. All three was cold and does not taste good. Has high hope but it's a big disappointment. My hubby's order flautas but they messed up and gave him the consome instead of the rice and beans like he asked. Food not good, service is horrible and the wait is long. Not coming back.

The restaurant is medium sized, clean, and spacious, with a wide variety of menu options. They offer brunch, lunch, dinner, desserts, and happy hour which is a nice bonus. I do wish the happy hour details were listed on a menu or somewhere visible. Our server, who was new, let us know that margaritas were half of and only select tacos were $2 for taco Tuesday. We each ordered a margarita, which was deliciously only $6 each. For starters, we shared the "Los Tres Diaz" platter, which includes guacamole, elote and fish ceviche served with chips. Everything was fresh and flavorful and great way for two people to sample a bit of everything. As for the tacos, the happy hours election wasn't as appealing so I opted for the shrimp tacos. Instead, the order came with three good size tacos and although the rice and beans are available as an add-on they don't come with a meal. The highlight was definitely the mango pineapple, pico de gallo, and added so much flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'd definitely come back.

Also had the El Elote and these were not exactly my favorite version. There was a mix of several flavors. My main lunch was the Pescado Frito which I decided could actually be the best fish tacos I've ever had. Would definitely return for this dish. Needed a dessert so tried the Date Pudding. Expecting something resembling a pudding, was a little surprised that the dish was really a cake. Very tasty and definitely needed the ice cream on the side. Overall, was pleased with the offerings. Cost might have been a little steep for a casual lunch, but then again I did order several items.

I was greeted immediately and enjoyed the ambience. A bit old, but still nice. It even looked like they had an windowed view spot where we could see....what... the tortillas, maybe, being made? A good sign. I was sat in a very lonely spot, at the far backside of the restaurant on the only 2-person table I saw. Oh, wonderful. It appeared the table hadn't been completely wiped clean, so I asked a busboy to wipe it down - he very promptly complied- nice. Ok- as the menus came, so did the tortilla chips and homemade salsa- wow. The chips were THICK and the sauce was really good- albeit a bit spicy (not a crime!). The waitress came over, introduced herself, and I promptly ordered their special drink- the "Mexican Mai-Tai". Gotta say it was good! I ordered off their special menu- enchiladas tomatillo with pollo (chicken). I swear, less than 2 minutes later came a small bowl of soup (not expected, but ok) - then less than 5 minutes after ordering the main? Came the main! The beans and rice were nice; it came with a bit of shredded lettuce- and the 3 enchiladas were not bad. At all. Definitely satisfied my craving for Mexican food! Why the demerits? The holy grail of any restaurant is always the service. Once I completed the mains, the busboy quickly took the dishes off the table. And then I waited. And waited. I flagged down a busboy and asked for my check- he said he'd flag down my waitress. And then I waited. After 15 minutes, I bagged it. I put on my jacket and went to the host desk and complained. Though I was able to pay at the front desk, why did I have to wait? What was so important on a not-so-busy Saturday night that meant I had to wait for my bill? Just awful, La Hacienda. I don't mind waiting a few minutes (most restaurants have this awful habit of making diners wait too long for their bills anyway, right?). But 15 minutes? And even after I pointed this out I still waited to no avail? No diner should ever be asked to wait until they "got around to it". Would I come again? Naw. Sorry, but even though the early part of the meal was great and I was speed-served the food? The finish killed it for me.
