So glad I found this little gem of a coffee shop! Ended up trying the London Fog - nice and frothy earl gray tea latte with lavender. Delicious! They have some unique drink options with a Vietnamese coffee twist. Service was fast with bet tree r prices than most coffee shops and a nice relaxed vibe. Nice place to study, work or meet Now that I've discovered this place, I will definitely be back.
Every time I stop by here I like to get the 1885, it's a mix of Dr.Pepper and espresso. The portions are equally matched with it not being to much soda or espresso, it's pretty equal. I would recommend this if you're a fan of Dr.Pepper and coffee since it's the best of both. There's plenty of seating and the drinks are always out pretty quick.
5/5 Service was great and fast. The shop felt pretty Americanized so I was hesitant at first since I was craving a matcha latte or Vietnamese coffee. Gave it a shot anyway since it on my way to work and I'm glad I did! Iced matcha latte with oat milk, lightly sweetened. Oat milk was an extra $1.25. I passed on the Vietnamese coffee since it wasn't traditional drip style and probably made with an espresso machine. The interior is cozy with plenty of seating to study or get work done. It's a bit out of the way compared to more popular spots, but a great stop if it's along your route. I'll definitely be back!
Service was fast! I ordered and sat within 5 minutes. There is around 15 people with or seating inside and outlets around the wall. Interior is very cute and homey feeling. A lot of windows with natural lighting. There is also WiFi so it is a cute place to just hang out. The area around is a strip mall and it was really accessible from I-10. Because it's in a strip mall, there is also a lot of parking to hang out. I got an Ice latte for a pretty reasonable price! There were a lot options for the syrups also ranging from lavender to cookie butter. Otherwise drinks are pretty standard with hot and cold coffees and tea. There were also some dessert options and frozen yogurt in the back.
Why 5 stars? Because the nitro was perfect. --- --- --- I have probably been to close to 100 coffee shops where all I do is order a black nitro and that's the end of my experience. I usually don't write a review when that's the case because, it feels weird to basically just say, "5-stars, the nitro was awesome." But you know what? The nitro truly was perfect. So smooth, so easy to drink - everything I hope for. As a bonus, it was in the same parking lot as where we'd just eaten lunch, so bonus points for that random convenience. We live nowhere near here, but if I'm ever back in the area and needing caffeine, I'm stopping in. They had a bunch of other treats and a fro-yo here too, as well as a lot of great coffee options besides nitro. I wish we lived closer!
I am hardly ever on the West side or in the Memorial area these days, but decided to support Tree House since I happened to be in the area recently. I have known about this coffee house for quite some time, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. This spot, nestled in an interesting shopping center, has a rare neighborhood feel. Before visiting, I inquired about the Matcha Latte over the phone, and the guy who answered was very helpful with respect to explaining various coffee options. I settled on the Matcha Latte, which was made with oat milk and lightly sweetened. I'd rate this drink a 5/5. The Reese's cookie also rates a 5/5. Both were delicious. The counter service was good. You have the option to sit outdoors or inside, and I chose to sit outside - it was a beautiful, sunny day! Overall, I thought of Tree House as a cool place to visit, and I really enjoyed my visit there.
The coconut mocha frozen blended coffee drink was made very well and the hot cappucinno was just as good. The hot cappucinno had very little carbs so I rewarded myself with a very tasty carby oatmeal raisin cookie. Life is good! I've only been to a few coffee shops that do frozen yogurt too and this is one of them....kudos!
I was around the memorial area and was looking for a morning coffee spot. I found Tree House on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The storefront is located in a local plaza with other miscellaneous stores. The cafe itself is small and cozy with not much seating for those that want to do work. I ordered an Iced lavender latte (my go-to). I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. The espresso shot was well pulled with a delectable nutty flavor (just how I like it). The lavender tasted fresh and paired well into the latte. I enjoyed sipping on this latte throughout the day. If you are ever in the area, definitely give tree house a try! The servers were nice and the barista brought my drink straight over to my table!
Another day, another coffee stop in Houston. Since I'll be here until December 23, I figured I might as well keep exploring. Houston has so many coffee shops that it almost feels wrong not to try as many as I can...especially if you're a coffee drinker like me...Walking into Tree House Coffee, the vibe immediately felt cozy and inviting. It has that small, quaint cafe feel, the kind of place where families can sit, kids can enjoy a treat, and everyone can slow down for a bit. They also serve frozen yogurt, which makes this spot especially family friendly...I ordered the Japanese cold-brewed coffee. It was smooth but a little more acidic than my personal preference...Quick coffee note for fellow coffee lovers...Japanese style iced coffee is brewed hot and then rapidly cooled over ice, which naturally brings out brighter, sharper flavors. Some people love that crisp profile. For me, it leaned a bit punchy, but it's not wrong, just a different brewing style...Overall, it's a pleasant spot. Tree house is my favorite spot for frozen yogurt. I've had their drinks and desserts before, which are great too, but what keeps me coming back is the froyo. They have a variety of flavors to choose from, but I'm devoted to the simply tart and strawberry tart. Their selection of toppings is solid - they have fresh fruit, mochi, boba, gummy worms, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. My sister and I's cups combined equaled to 1.15 lbs, and our total came out to $12.70. Throughly enjoyed every ounce of it, and the sweet toppings meshed so well with the tart flavors. The inside is small yet cozy. They have one longer table in the back, a few booths to the side, a sofa and cushioned chairs, and some small tables near the front of the shop. They have a couple of board games in the back as well! Service was good, and parking was fine!
Tree house is a wonderful little coffee shop with lovely staff and many options of food and drink with an added bonus of frozen yogurt options, unlike a traditional coffee shop. The interior is quite cozy and there is outside seating as well. On a weekday evening, it can be a bit crowded due to many students studying there, but I found a little corner to do work and appreciated the ample electricity outlets. The chai latte was well balanced with spice and sugar and provided a warm and comforting feeling as I powered through my readings. It did not taste artificial nor was it overly sweet. I also appreciated the music choice played that night, which was a nice blend of American pop and tracks by Asian artists, so thank you for whomever put that playlist on!
Had the apple butter cappuccino and pumpkin pie with oat milk. The apple was fantastic and a great job with the foam. Still too much milk as it was no different than the latte but I still enjoyed this flavor. It's just different. The pumpkin was nasty. Not sure how to even point out what's wrong. Small place. Wish I wouldn't have eaten before, a homemade croissant sounds good. read more

I am so happy I found this gem! I love being able to support local businesses and craft coffee shops like these. They even serve froyo which I love! They also have many different options for plant based milk like coconut and almond and other milk replacements too. I have been going just about everyday. Good thing they have a rewards program I strongly suggest this local shop it's a must go here in Houston. You won't be disappointed. Everything's good! read more

a cozy little coffee shop with good drinks and froyo!! definitely gives off neighborhood coffee shop vibes menu: i always order a ca phe sua da from here and always enjoy it - would say that its a bit on the sweeter side compared to a typical ca phe sua da but sweetness is adjustable! have tons of syrups, sauces, and milk options so its very easy to customize your drink the way you like. have also tried their frozen yogurt and it's pretty good but flavors are rotational so they sometimes the flavors are not hitting but at least they offer sample cups to try them out! seating: pretty small shop so not too much seating :( haven't had any problems with seating though! wifi: free wifi and works pretty good parking: they are within a plaza so lots of parking !! read more

When I stepped into the cafe, I was greeted like I was part of the treehouse family. There was this lovely gentleman, named Jude Yates. Who was excellent and taking care of me and my boyfriend. Don't come to Tree House unless you have at least Tree Fitty to spend. I usually do, so I came here with Barbie and we checked it out. We had an interesting experience here. Prices are on the high side and some of the products are unusual and not what we were expecting. The frozen yogurt is definitely the highlight. The bubble tea is definitely worth skipping. read more

Tree House is a hole in the wall type place with great coffee! I ventured out here on a Friday during rush hour traffic and the staff was friendly and prompt. The desserts looked okay from the viewing window but not enough to want to eat one right away. This is a good place for coffee though. read more

Tree House is an adorable coffee and yogurt shop! Though small, they make the most out of the space. There are a few booths, tables, a couch, and two fabric chairs available for studying, chatting, or simply relaxing. I went around lunchtime and there were a lot of people inside. Tree House is located near a Tae kwon do school and many little kids were arriving with their parents. Later on, it wasn't that loud inside and the atmosphere resumed being calm and soft. Their hibiscus tea has a strong aroma that wafted from the cup. I enjoyed the flavor as well. They also allow for free refills and offered to brew another cup of tea for me! The cashier was very kind to inform me the price of the red velvet cupcake had increased recently, but it looked delicious so I couldn't resist and didn't mind paying a little extra. Tree House is kid friendly; they also have a changing station in the women's restroom and provide high chairs. I will definitely be returning, and next time I will try the yogurt! read more

Before the pandemic we absolutely love this place... Don't get me wrong we still love this place but A couple of things are confusing right now. We are pretty sure they have raised their prices because of the pandemic. They also require for their employees to pour the yogurt and toppings on top... So you're left with yogurt that you didn't get to pour and higher prices. We probably go here 3 to 4 times a week. So it hasn't stopped us from going but it might soon. Last night we went for frozen yogurts they were only basically halfway full -- the cost for four yogurts was $45 and then they ask you for tip! WHAT! Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for a quick pick me up during my lunch break and it's such a hidden gem coffeeshop! It's located in the Memorial area in a local plaza and they specialize in craft coffee. The cafe itself is small and there's not too much seating but great for grab and go. I got their iced lavender latte and was SO impressed by the quality! It was not watered down at all and the balance of espresso and lavender was perfect. One of the best lavender lattes I've had! Definitely has a strong and smooth flavor and I LOVE that they have eco-friendly cup with sip tops as well so you won't be needing a straw at all. They also sell other baked goods and froyo which I think is pretty unique. I'd definitely come back again and want to try their Vietnamese coffee next time! read more

I'm from out of town so My partner and I were looking for a nice little coffee shop to go to before we caught that new Dr Strange Movie. Enter TREE HOUSE. First and foremost, amazing customer service from the folks that worked here, they made us feel like we were at home. It's a small, yet nicely sized coffee shop that offers some amazing craft style coffee drinks. I had the Japanese cold brew which was amazing and came in this really cool cup. The barista even offered to warm up my banana nut muffin. I miss Texas and I miss this coffee shop. Thanks guys! read more
I'm glad I found this place. It's a great place to study. Located in a spacious plaza. Free wifi! Plenty of parking. The inside of Tree House was a lot smaller than I expected. Two booths and 2-3 small tables inside. There are also couches and some additional tables outside. A very cozy and chill atmosphere. Their menu has a variety of coffees, drinks, and also yogurt! They also have pastries such as croissants and muffins. I tried their ca phe sua da (Vietnamese coffee). I was surprised to see it on the menu since the establishment seemed like an American based. The taste was just right and it really woke me up for my study session. Their Japanese style coffee was a bit bitter to me. Not my preference for coffee. Yogurt: If you want to sample then the employee has to do it for you. Otherwise, you can grab the two different size bowl by the wall. Some of my favorite flavors are the taro, simply tart, salted caramel, and strawberry tart. There are a variety of toppings from fruits, cheesecake, nuts, chocolate, to popping bobas. Overall, friendly service. A lot of people come here for the yogurt. The noise level here is medium. People come to hang out or would leave after their purchase. Today, I tried "Tree House" for the first time ever!! This time around I had my order delivered from "favor" which I have to say was a very pleasant experience. But don't you worry next time I'll be sure to go in person and give you even more insight on this delightful coffee house! I ordered an Japanese Cold Brew with hazelnut syrup, soy milk, and of course EXPRESSO. For my little snack I ordered a blueberry bagel with scrumptious cream cheese. I found the Japanese Cold Brew to be not only a very strong brew, but it was cool and refreshing. Flavor wise the hazelnut syrup was subtle, but there. Also the soy milk created a delightfully smooth texture. As for the bagel, it was a beautiful golden brown with a sweet and savory flavor. I used to come here when they only served frozen yogurt. They have since upgraded it and added in coffee, games, and just an overall wonderful experience. I came on an early morning Saturday. My wife and I got the frozen hot chocolate and the japanese cold brew. If you want something strong! Get the japanese cold brew. It was different than anything else I had tried before. If you are on the memorial and N Kirwood area and you feel like treating yourself to some good tea, coffee or frozen yogurt this is the place. I have tried their Taro tea and their Matcha tea and they were awesome. Plus the place is super cute and a nice hangout spot to catch up with friends. read more

In a good community very close to my house, I begin to like this place, it's nicely set up, nice and friendly people working here. They make almost all kinds of specialty coffee. Affogato is my number one pick. it comes with 2 big scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream in a large cocktail glass and a shot of Espresso coffee on the side for only $4.25, unlike other coffee shops they give only one scoop of ice cream and top coffee on before serving. I found this place on Google Search last month and now it become one of my favorite coffee place to relax, reading and meet friends. Thank you Tree House. read more

Okay, this place is ADORABLE! The cutest little spot for coffee! I went in because I had read about the reviews for Japanese cold brew and so I had to try one. Let me tell you somethin...that cold brew is no joke! The flavor is strong and delicious and for the first time EVER I had to add a little cream to my coffee (I'm a black coffee all-the-way type of girl). It had a great flavor and was definitely caffeine-full and so it was a nice early afternoon pick-me-up! They showed me the machine they make it in and it takes 8 hours to make. This place had a few benches and some tables. There's a small muted tv that was playing the Texans game. And to top it all off..they have a full soft serve bar inside, complete with toppings galore! The two girls working were sweet as pie and so helpful! If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to coffee spot! read more

I really wish I lived closer to this place because I would literally go here ALL THE TIME! Picture a very aesthetically pleasing/cute coffee shop..now picture a whole wall dedicated to self-serve froyo and then an assortment of all of your favorite toppings. That's exactly this place. Whoever thought to do coffee and froyo together in the same shop is genius because it's honestly the best of both worlds (especially with Houston weather). We were welcomed upon entering and despite staring at the menu for a while they were very patient with us. We settled on the espresso macchiato, white chocolate iced mocha, and some froyo. Everything was absolutely delicious! I love the cups they use for the iced coffee. I was hesitant about the froyo at first, but this was honestly some of the best frozen yogurt I've ever had! It had the perfect consistency and they had a great selection of flavors, including a midnight vanilla vegan option! The place is clean and quiet and would be a great place to get some work or studying done. I already can't wait to go back! read more

Look like coffee and ice cream place come together. Ice cream section was close when we was there because of Covid, so didn't have chance to try the ice scream here. The Cafe Sua da and caramel macchiato coffee were good, sweeter than Starbuck coffee. read more

This is such a good spot for an afternoon treat. My girls love the frozen yogurt and I love the perfectly crafted coffee. I love that they carry really nice coffee available for purchase. This blend from El Salvador is absolutely perfect. We love tree house!! read more

Very delicious coffee, I had the nitro, if you need to wake up then that's definitely the drink for you. My friends ya the cà phê súá dá and said it was delicious. My son had the yogurt and he couldn't get enough of it. Nice clean little space. Plenty of seating and even 2 tables out front. I'll be back here when I'm in the area. read more

This place is just so adorable. I had found a picture off-line and had no clue what the drink was. The manager was at the front desk and was able to answer all my questions, get everything ordered and out in a timely manner. They have a lot of cute details down to the awesome parking sign! Look forward to trying other drinks! read more
