We had a great time. We took 12 year olds for a birthday adventure and they all loved it. It wore them out. 3 hours was more than enough time. We didn't get to do half of what there was but it is a workout and you'll get tired. They took a group photo of us after we were harnessed up and we were able to purchase it as a souvenir for $20 afterward. That was a nice touch since this isn't something we get to do every day. At $40 per kid it is too pricey to be able to come back frequently, although the kids would love that. Maybe they should consider membership programs or more ways of discounting. They don't spray for bugs as to not harm the environment so use bug spray especially if you go in the evening. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables around for those not climbing. Not real handicap accessible as you go back into the wooded area. I like that they have protected the trees and surrounding areas from harm while building the park. It is nature friendly. Safe! We were always secured with their safety locking carabiners. Very easy to use once you do it the first time. Kids figured it out right away. 10 minute safety instruction before you climb. A quick run through the test course and you are off.. Lots of fun. Love ziplining at the end of each course. read more

Awesome date night. Something different than dinner and movies. At night they even put on the lights in the trees. There are different levels of intensity for courses that are different colors. The only down side is that if someone is super slow in front of you it will take way longer to finish the course. They also close the harder ones as it gets later in the evening. If you are looking for something different to do, this is the place to come to. It is in obstacle course that is suspended in a forest. Whether you are a child or an Olympian, you will have a fun and challenging course at your disposal. One of my friends is afraid of heights, but because of the safety of the technology that they have, even he was able to enjoy himself. Two things are guaranteed, you will have a fantastic time, and you will get a great workout in. I have come here several times, sometimes with a large group, and other times with just one other person. Whether I go with a large group or not, I have a blast. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is bored on a random Tuesday, or someone throwing their birthday party with a large group on a weekend. read more

This aerial forest high ropes and zipline park is fun and challenging for all ages. Your visit begins with getting harnessed up and a short lesson in using the foolproof double locking carabiner system. After a brief practice course you are let loose in the park to test your mettle on a variety of courses that are named and color coded similar to a ski resort, starting with the easiest (purple) to the toughest (black and double black diamond). All radiate from a central platform, and you have to work your way up to higher levels proving you have the composure and strength to handle them. Each course has a variety of elements, like tightropes, barrels, balance beams, trapeze and rope ladders, that take you from platform to platform high up in the trees. The highlight of each course is a zooming zipline that makes everything worth the effort. On my family's recent visit, everyone from my 5-year-old daughter to myself (a former rock climber) found spots that pushed us to our edge. We left exhilarated and wanting to return to try the next level. I have heard complaints that the prices are steep, but admission is comparable to skiing. It's a day-long adventure and a special occasion, and well worth the investment. I can only imagine the operating expenses of a place like this, from insurance to dense staffing of "tree patrol" ready to help when people get stuck or scared or simply have questions about the gear. Everyone I've talked to, from Girl Scout troop leaders to teenagers taking girlfriends on uber impressive first dates, have nothing but great reviews for this place. It's all the buzz among families and thrill-seekers alike. We are really lucky to have such an elaborate recreational facility here in Metro Detroit. Oh, and did I mention at night climbers don glowsticks, the canopy comes alive with twinkling lights and a DJ provides the soundtrack for your adventure? You have to try this place! We were here for a dog adoption event. The rope ladders & repelling stations looked like a lot of fun. I will caution you about the screaming kids. I would try to book time on a school day maybe. I would have given 5 stars except for the one pretentious worker (he goes up for people who get stuck) who was pretty nasty about telling me there was "no smoking". I mean, we're in the woods, you don't have to be rude about it. Everyone else was very nice. But there is that high pitched screaming...hehehe. read more

This is our second time back from Texas durning the summer and I can't express enough how awesome this place is!! It hasn't been super packed every time we went. It's Nicely shaded with trees everywhere and cool enough where your not dying inside comparing to Texas that is. They have pizza delivery there as well! For the cost, we weren't impressed. We had to wait forever to get our gear on. We also had to wait for their people to help someone down and I was concerned that if me or one of my kids needed help, their level of ability may not be adequate to help. They just looked like they didn't really know what they were doing. I wondered about helmets when we got there and when my daughter came in too fast on the zip line, she hit her head. Everything is slow and takes forever. It just wasn't worth the $50 per person. read more

Went here for the yelp in the treetops event and had an amazing time. They have a nice variety of courses to try out ranging from easy to very difficult (at least it was for me). They do require that you complete lower level courses before proceeding to higher levels in order to help people take on courses that their skill level can handle. I started of with the two lower levels (Green & Blue) and was able to complete them without any trouble buy with quite a bit of enjoyment. I did skip the black and went on to the double black (which is allowed) as it was nearing the closing time of the park (after checking with the monitors of course). I found this course to be particularly challenging and it took me some time to clear few of the obstacles, and even though the rest of the guests had left, the park monitors rather than rush me encouraged me through the obstacles and gave me great guidance which helped me to get further than I expected. Eventually when I was too tired to continue mid way through an obstacle, they tried to encourage me and suggested resting before continuing, not once rushing me to finish or quit. I did however decide to quit and they sent Princess Charming to come rescue me. They had the ability to lower me from where I was midway though the obstacle, however I chose to pull myself back to the platform while I was rescued in the interest of saving time. The park is very safe and the harnesses sturdy. It is very clear that customer safety is of a top priority to them. They have a two point harness which forces you to always have one point of contact with the rope to prevent the risk of falling. My grievances with the park would be that the safety mechanism to keep one point of contact requires the clip to be pushed into a locking mechanism which sometimes could be difficult to do due to the location of the mechanism being too close to a tree. Also, some of the gloves that are provided for the course seem to be overused/uncomfortable. Overall though a very fun place that is great for kids and adults, small groups or big ones and I definitely recommend stopping by sometime. read more

This was a great experience! My friend and I completed the two green circle courses and felt like I conquered the world (my fear of heights and speed) by the end of our experience. I am quite bruised but the equipment is new and safe, you receive training and a practice run before getting on the course, and there are staff everywhere who will help guide you if you get stuck or slip like I did. Will definitely come back when I get a chance! There is no sign off the road for this place, so make sure to listen to your GPS when you are driving around! read more

Great outdoor activities for people of all ages. It was kinda challenging for me, especially after the first two hours. I would recommend going for a higher level to start so that you won't waste too much energy and strength on the easier ones. There is water inside the "jungle", so no need to bring your bottle. Girls who do not work out a lot may want to wear long sleeves to avoid bruises on your arms. read more

We had a blast! From 8 year olds to the adults! Such a fun time - even the grand parents had fun watching!! Never disappoints!! We've been going for at least 4 years now. A great time whether with a few friends or with a group! We have hosted a birthday party here for my daughter twice now and organized multiple group outings (just as recent as this past weekend - 9/8/18 with her soccer team). Who would have guessed a cool place like this was tucked inside suburbia?! I made my first visit on a holiday weekend. Our group of 5 made reservations a few days prior. This place is very well organized and the staff knows their routine quite well... from ticket taking, to safety briefing, equipment overview and a chance to try test ropes prior to beginning ... it seemed overwhelming at first but you get used to the safety clips pretty fast and the staff is very helpful. I love how many course options there are - this will give me a chance to try a different one when I return. We did 2 courses during our visit. My group ranged from ages 9 to 43. All of us started on a green course and did quite well. The 9 year old had been here before and didn't need to start at the lowest level. I made it thru green and moved onto blue, which had a really long zip line, pretty high up, and then a crazy free fall jump at the end. Some parts made me nervous but it's very safe and really not as scary as it looks! Would definitely recommend a visit here for some not-so-ordinary active entertainment! read more

My first climb here was pretty good. The courses are incredibly draining but worth the workout. THe worst part are the rude customers who either just stand in the way or who go out of their way to be rude to everyone else. However, I went to singles night and that was the worst experience. First off, we were promised to climb and was told that everything else was optional. As soon as friends and I got there, there was nothing optional. We were forced to do speed dating and two incredibly inappropriate ice breakers. The first ice breaker has us passing around a rubber chicken with our necks. The second time around the park manager use a rubber chicken the size of a coffee mug so we were forced to touch. The next, most inappropriate awkward game ever was "lint game", where you are reaching into each others pockets to dig for lint. Next, is when we were told to sit down and speed date. This was long, draining and no one wanted to after about a half hour. It lasted almost two hours. We were then able to start leaving to climb and barely had enough time to climb. I wanted my money back but have yet to have a response. OH and also, I put down another female for a "matched" and was sent a incredibly passive aggressive email and did not get the free climb that was promised when we matched with someone at the event. The only good part of this event were the non manager staff members who felt so bad for us and couldn't believe that we were forced to participate even though we were told at the beginning that it was optional. read more

This place is so fun. If it's your first time, I recommend that you start slow on purple or yellow. I started on green and was slightly freaked out but eventually got through it. The worst is the vertical jump. Scares me everytime. You'll love it. As long as you are OK with heights. :) read more

This place is really cool! We went here with a group of 4 and didn't know what to expect. First you start off with a little training session and they explain the harness and how to use everything. Then they basically turn you loose. We started on one of the easiest ones just to see what it was all about. It wasn't much of a challenge but it was really cool! Once we got used to what we were doing we went and did a course that was a little more difficult, and it was a great challenge and definitely tested your courage. The staff was really friendly and willing to help. They understood that not everyone is a mountain climber and knows how to work the harness you need to wear. The only gripe I have is the amount of young kids there (jumping up and down on the platforms, shaking the cables when waiting, just normal kid behavior). It would be nice if there was times for adults and children. I understand that's not the best idea from a business stand point because this place was crawling with kids... Anyway, that being said, I will definitely be back again and ready to tackle the top courses! read more
