The topping tasted more like something you'd put on bruschetta. For the price, it was extremely disappointing. The smashburger was the one bright spot. It was actually good and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Philly cheesesteak was the exact opposite. The meat was incredibly tough, almost impossible to chew, and had a burnt flavor. It was simply not good. To the manager's credit, he eventually tried to make things right and had another smashburger prepared for us. I appreciate the effort, but by that point the overall experience had already gone downhill. A good location and a nice renovation can only take a restaurant so far. Management, staff training, food quality, and knowing how to take care of guests are what make people come back. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this restaurant has a long way to go. The entire evening was disappointing from beginning to end, and for the prices they're charging, I expected considerably better.
