The absolute worst movers I have ever hired in the past 14 years of hiring 6 other movers. They left their trash everywhere. I'm still picking empty and half full bottles of water and Twinkie and other food wrappers out of my freezers, and plants and even one filthy wrapper from under my bed. The lead kept saying he would clean it up but they left trash everywhere in the old house and I had to have it cleaned up. They broke China (I packed that, I get it, my fault letting them take it), my antique China hutch, and antique chest. They broke my $1500 office chair by stacking too many boxes on it. The owner said they don't do that but I saw them do it. They spent the last three hours of the move on their phones, slow walking and folding blankets while there was still a half a truck left to unload. When I walked out to look at what was left and saw the half truck still full, I had to start bringing in boxes myself. I know they were tired but there were 7 guys charging $385 per hour. Can we get this done? I told them many times to please get the boxes of food inside because of the heat. Every time I went into the garage there were boxes of food stacked. They got out in the front yard with my husbands crossbow and shot at least one arrow into the yard. We found the arrow two days later half buried in the soil like it had been fired. I guess it's ok for them to fire weapons of the customer's?? I'm still pulling their frozen waters out of my freezers. One guy spent the first 10 minutes at my new house taking pictures of the inside and no, he didn't ask. They clogged the toilet and it took two days to get it unclogged. Instead of going around to take plants to the backyard, they took them through the house and they dumped one full of dirt in the dining room and didn't even pick it up. One guy actually lied to me and said it came from the grill. No, the grill doesn't have "dirt" in it and I SAW THEM DO IT. When I said I saw them he said "oh". Caught in the lie. I would also think it would be unacceptable to vape in a customer's garage but maybe that is acceptable these days? I was by myself during the move. I can only think that they just took advantage of an aged woman. Not one apology from the owner. He did offer to come over and see the chair. I left it on the front porch for a week and he never came by. When I spoke to the owner and tried to come to a resolution, he wouldn't resolve the issues and he threatened to call me a racist if I left a bad review. Nice guy. Absolutely worst experience with movers I've ever had. Use them at your peril. I would invite everyone to take a look at the complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. And take the bad reviews about them seriously. The bad reviews are the honest reviews. read more

Carte Blanche moved us yesterday. From the time Steve came out and walked the property I had a great feeling that I was in good hands. We had a team of four conscientious, hardworking, accommodating, delightful young men that moved us. It was hot, there were stairs and I have large heavy pieces. They worked with speed and efficiency and literally with happy hearts! We couldn't have been more pleased. Our team leader was Felix, and he led his team so well. There was obvious respect from his crew Nick, Allan and Trae. We have moved across the country a few times with the "big" boy movers and they can't hold a candle! (This was a local move) When it gets down to it, it really is about the people that represent the company and do the work. My feeling is Carte Blanche respects not only its customers but their employees as well and it shows in their work. While I hope not to have to move again for a very long time, I will tell you 100% that if we ever do, we will be calling Carte Blanche to take care of us. I called just two weeks before our move was needed and we were moving on a Sunday. I called this company based on their reviews. I was not disappointed. Four fine young men showed up on time, dressed professionally, and with a large, well kept truck. They worked with a sense of urgency--and they continued that pace throughout the day. And they worked as a team. Each one have an areas of expertise and each trusting the other to take care of their functions. They were professional and positive throughout the day to the very end of the move. They were over careful with our possessions--in the prepping of them for the move, transporting, and unloading. We just did a large pack and move from Dallas to Southlake and Steve came out and reviewed our location and provided us with the quote for the entire job. Used them for our pack and move from Southlake to Flower Mound. The people they used for our move were extremely professional and very nice to work with. They were extremely attentive to detail while packing our belongings and the move was done within budget. Our Keller Williams realtor recommended Carte Blanche moving so we gave them a try. We needed both packing, moving and unpacking and they perform all of those. They packed all of our stuff and when unpacked everything was just as it was before we moved it. Nothing broken yay!!! Carte Blanche Moving completed our move from Flower Mound to Arlington yesterday and we were so happy with the result. Raul, Carlos, and Alex were everything we could have hoped for. We moved to an over 55 community and required a bit of patience and they took great care of us and our things. They wrapped everything carefully and put down runners to protect our floors. We moved from a 2 bed 2 bath on August 30, 2019 and we hired this moving company and we have NO regrets. Ken, Braylon and another gentleman moved us. I can't recall his name but they were seriously AMAZING!! It was a total of 4.5 hours but they moved so efficiently and did not waste any time. They put everything where I asked them to put it and did not hesitate to move something if they had put it in a different spot than I had originally asked. These guys were professional, respectful, quick, careful, and personable. They did a great job maneuvering to avoid damage and wrapped all the furniture that needed extra protection. They were also good about checking in with me on where I wanted things to go in the new house. The best moving company...PERIOD. Came on time...wrapped everything very well, dis-assemble and assembled all the needed furniture like a pro. Top of this when they were done moving everything, as they did in less time then what was projected before, they only charged us for the time it took to move, minus their 30 minutes lunch break.
