Took my 10-year-old here for the first time today, and we had a great experience! We made a reservation online and arrived about 10 minutes early. Just a heads-up: you won't start the course until your scheduled time. First, you get harnessed up and then watch a short safety video. To be honest, it felt a little overwhelming at first. After the video, the staff takes you to a practice area where they show you how to clip on and off correctly before sending you out to the main deck to choose your course. We started with the zip line course, which included eight zip lines. It was a little intimidating at first, making sure we knew exactly how to clip on and off, but after about 20 minutes we felt much more comfortable and confident. During our visit, we completed three courses and even repeated the zip line course because we enjoyed it so much. You get three hours to do as many courses as you'd like. Some of the obstacles were a bit challenging, but overall it was a fun and exciting experience--though definitely tiring! My daughter had a blast. This was so fun! We bought 2 family packs which included the required gloves. This package was a deal! They also offer "try it" tickets which seem to be at a discount. We all had so much fun at 70, 46, 45, 18, 17, 16, and 15 years old. We experimented with the black course first ... which is NOT recommended but that's the way my boys role. I will say I survived and earned bragging rights. But will I do that line ever again, probably not. My favorite line was the one with all the zip lines. Super super fun, I honestly expected like two peewee zip lines and was surprised in the best way. So many courses to choose from, very self guided. I have done the glow in the dark twice and there's a great selection of music. Screechowl is a must do, and I would stay away from the harder courses unless you are very confident. We drove from Des Moines for a day adventure with teenagers. Everyone had a fantastic time! There are ropes courses that vary in difficulty so everyone was challenged. The staff are outstanding in their support and emphasis on safety. It was a warm day and there were cooling misters set up. There are picnic tables available and they allow you to bring in food. We were greeted with fun glow bracelets and instructions. This was pretty challenging and physically demanding. The photos may be deceiving it is high up and tiring. You are the controller of hooking up all cables for the obstacles and zip lines. Once you get the hang of the equipment it is pretty easy The cost was around $50 per person for a 3 hour experience. There were so many courses to choose from from easy to advanced. The staff are able to get you down at any point if you decide to not complete an obstacle. Let's rush through the trees and go on an adventure!! TreeRush is an exciting and fun experience that I'm sure I will keep coming back to! I first heard about TreeRush after my nephew had his birthday party there! I was able to check it out later the following year and though I was nervous I still went ahead and tried it. Being afraid of heights makes me a bit nervous but I love the outdoors and challenging myself. TreeRush is the perfect fit for that! I managed to get through a few of the courses, the greens and blue except the black, and the easier ones to top out my day. I had a few moments where I felt stuck but somehow made it to the other side. I left feeling pretty good about it but eager to try again sometime. Fast forward two years later and my boyfriend and I were talking about different things to do when it gets warm again and of course TreeRush was one of those things!! I told him about my experience and how much fun it would be!! His birthday was coming up in April and I had been feeling kind of lost as to what to give or do. I went back and forth overthinking for a few days and booked it for the morning of his birthday. As luck would have it, the weather had been looking pretty nice the weeks prior to his birthday so I was hopeful but also uncertain. We all know how Nebraska weather can be!! I didn't say anything about the plans but made sure he was available that morning. The day came and I decided to give him a pretty BIG hint in his birthday card. Once we got there the staff were super friendly and helpful getting us set up for our obstacles. I added on gloves and a locker so we could leave our things secured, but they do have cubbies for items too. I booked the first time slot so we could have the course mainly to ourselves for a little while and it worked out well! All of the staff here are knowledgeable and shared their own personal experiences when we had questions. It was a little chilly and windy so we made it through a few courses within our 3 hour time frame with plans to go back very soon. We were thinking of trying out their glow in the dark at some point! Another thing to note, when it's windy and you've completed an element it can feel a little dizzy if you're watching the trees move, so just keep that in mind! This place is freaking AMAZING!!! From the staff to the experience, completely top notch!!!! Upon arriving we were met by two friendly young ladies who explained what the experience would be like and then led to an area for us to lock up valuables. I would advise anyone who comes to take EVERYTHING out of your pockets (yes your phones, wallets & keys). We then watched a short instructional video and we're assisted in getting into our gear. The staff is so incredible. Everyone is so friendly and patient as they help you and as they walk you through the tutorial course and zip line. From then on, you're off to the races. Each course is marked with a color (which indicates the difficulty) and staff are located throughout to keep an eye out for anyone in need of assistance. Just know, it's gonna be a workout. Tree Rush is definitely one of my favorite things I've found to do in Omaha-- would recommend it for the whole family! Be warned-- the easiest levels (yellow) still require a decent amount of physical fitness and coordination. I would consider getting a season pass if I had kids in the right age range. Ladies- be sure to tie up your hair tightly in a bun or braid and wear at least a T shirt- no tank (there were a few places I got burned/cut by the wire under my arms in a tank top). Gardening gloves work really well for gripping the various ropes and wires and also help protect against germs! My only critique is that I think they could be a little bit more careful given the current situation with COVID, limiting visitors and spacing out appointment times a bit more. read more

What an amazing experience! If you've ever watched American Ninja Warrior and wondered if you could do it, this is a great pace to find out. It is a workout! A bit pricey, but you can be on the course for nearly 3 hours so I think it's worth it for the experience. There are color code courses for level of challenge, similar to a ski slope. We just did yellow and green, will have to work up to blue and black! There is also a kid course for the littles. You start with a demo and individual sign off for safety and techniques and off you go! All courses start from a central platform, which is convenient. It seemed like each course had about 10-12 elements, including zip lines. Each course is 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on how brave you are and how many people are on the same course. We did take 1 Star off for horrible customer service at the desk. We had checked out the online reservation before leaving but didn't book because they had times open every 10 minutes and we weren't sure how long the drive would be - good thing because we got stuck waiting for a train for a loonnnggg time. When we got to the desk they said the next walk in time was in an hour and ten minutes!!! When I said the online had times available immediately they said they save those for reservations. So they save unbooked time for potential bookings instead of actual people in the lobby! So we grabbed the phone and booked online and got on the course in 20 minutes instead of 70! Staff on the course were wonderful, the front desk could learn from them. read more

If you are looking for family fun, or just fun with friends, that will challenge you a little physically, this is the place. We decided to do this to celebrate a friends birthday, there were four of us and we all really enjoyed it. Although it may seem a little pricey it's 3-4 hours of time attempting the different courses. They have courses for the young and courses that will provide a challenge to all! I am not a fan of heights but felt very secure in the harness that the staff would check frequently. There were a few times I thought I was going to fall and be hanging by my harness waiting to be rescued but made it with only a few bruises. I witnessed a couple of staff members encouraging those that were struggling through a couple obstacles. They seemed to know just what to say to encourage and direct them to get them to the next platform. We look forward to returning and maybe trying the harder/higher courses. So much fun! read more

Wow this place was incredible! My partner and I had a blast going through the obstacles here! My partner is an advanced climber, and he breezed through the easy courses, then was met with fun, puzzle-like challenges on the harder courses. I, on the other hand, came here to face my fear of heights! The staff were very friendly, extremely helpful, and completely understanding. They let me take the easy courses nice and slow. A few employees even shouted advice to me from the forest floor to help be figure out the best way to position my body to complete some of the harder obstacles. I took my 4-year-old here to go through the kids rush course. The options are pretty limited, there's only two short courses and I had to re-tighten the harness after the attendent working the platform initially put it on. It was way too loose for my comfort. Those are my only gripes, although that last one is a safety gripe so it's a big deal for me. Other wise the adult course looked amazing. Just super cool. Felt targeted, discriminated against, and not listened too. I recently brought a group of 8 teenage boys for my son's birthday. I felt that, as soon as they began, they were targeted as being a trouble group. First, when instructions were given, the boys were all answering certain repeated questions in unison. "How many people on the stand at once?" They would yell "3". etc. When doing this, I noticed an adult worker looked over in concern and then walked over. I understand we have to be cautious. I am a teacher and know those signs to look for. But excitement and fun does not equal trouble. I thought this a bit weird and was a little worried right away. Nothing was said, and we moved on to further training. The worker doing the training did a great job! He had fun with the boys and my group was very respectful. During the next couple hours, I felt everything went fine. There was only one issue during that two hours. One group of boys wanted to climb a course that was for 15 and older. Another group had already climbed it not knowing the rules. (My son is 15, however which may be where the confusion did lie) The next group that went up was told they couldn't go up. They boys were confused and explained that another group of the boys went up. Instead of handling it professionally, this worker responded sarcastically and rude. The boys came up to me after it happened and told me. We just told them to brush it off and move on to something else. The final straw was toward the end. A girl was stuck on one of the climbs. The boys were up there for at least 20 minutes waiting. As they got down from the course, another worker told the group to follow him. He then said they were "done" because they were making fun of this girl. The worker didn't even discuss anything with the boys; he didn't ask for an explanation. The girl that was stuck thought the boys were pointing at her and laughing. This is NOT what they were doing. I was there the whole time observing and saw nothing. What was happening? The boys were bored, being goofy, and shaking their butts at each other. Does that sound like a group of 14 year olds? Absolutely! That is why they were pointing at each other and laughing. So instead of hearing both sides, they automatically assumed that the boys were in the wrong. Again, I am a teacher. Many times I have seen disrespect BUT have also seen accusations made falsely. As a teacher you ALWAYS hear both sides. So very often the side that is "tattling" is misunderstanding the situation. I felt this was handled very unprofessionally. When I asked for specifics, they could not even back up their reasons with evidence. We spent over $400 at this facility. I would expect a little better customer service. I am a parent of 3 and a teacher. I NEVER automatically take the side of my kid. In this case, after hearing both sides, I 100% defended these boys. So I would not recommend going with a group of boys. The workers did not know how to communicate or handle this age group. I was extremely disappointed in how it ended and am still so upset, I am up at 3:30 am posting this so I can sleep. read more

Took my nieces (ages 9, 11 & 14) yesterday. We ALL had a great time. Such a fun family outing for adults and older kids. I was especially impressed by the staff. They were very helpful and focused on their job. They really watch to make sure everyone follows safety protocols. When people needed assistance, they were so kind and supportive. They were absolutely top notch. It's an expensive activity but you really do get what you pay for! Such an outstanding experience and well run facility. We are already planning to go back again. Had a BLAST! We had a group of friends all of us around 30 years old and we loved it. Huge tree course! Lots of choices! They had 4 levels of difficulty and I was able to try one of each. Fell on the Blackhawk route but made it out ok! Definitely glad I had my gloves or my hands would have been blistered and sore. Great activity for the whole family. Plenty of easy routes if you don't want the "thrill" factor. Every route has at least one zip line in it somewhere ranging in sizes. Pay attention during the training, employees are great! TreeRush adventures exceeded our expectations! We had one adult and one 7 yr old go on the courses. There is a safety feature with the carabiners that prevents you from removing both off of the wires. I had no reservations of my child going after learning about them. Staff were helpful & present for any tips in getting across the challenges. The yellow courses were easily navigated by both of us. The green has a few areas where my kiddo needed help /guidance or I needed to go first to help him over. The ropes and zipline course at TreeRush is totally worth the cost. Not only is it a fun and (at times) challenging workout, you have the opportunity to take in some of the beautiful scenery of Fontenelle Forest. I brought my daughters - age 7 and 10, and was very happy with the COVID safety protocols - masks required while indoors checking in, lots of sanitizing stations and all staff and participants wearing masks while going through the practice course and getting harnesses. Once you start the course, you can take off the mask. There are a number of courses yellow (10 - 12 feet off the ground), green (20 feet off the ground) and then blue and black for more advanced. Before starting, you receive instruction on how to navigate the course with your harness, hooks and zipline equipment. This took maybe 30 minutes or so. On the course you are on your own - there isn't staff on the various platforms transitioning you from one obstacle to the next. Initially I was a little nervous about this, but we all got the hang of it. My 7-year-old got stuck on the zipline and after she was unable to pull herself to the next platform, the staff quickly came up and took care of her. And, once you finish one course, you can continue on to others if you choose. Everyone in my family wants to go back, my husband and I have discussed doing a date night to check out some more advanced courses. Highly recommend! read more

I found this place online. The advertising for this on Facebook is awesome. It comes up a lot. We are a family of four we were looking for something to do outside. I wish I would've known what type of gloves to bring because I would've gotten my own gloves we were told we could bring our owner purchased him we did purchase three it was a total of nine dollars and some change. We also were briefed on how to climb the trees. And so was my youngest who is six. At seven years old The kids can go up on the taller ones. I love the color coordination they are colors which are the levels of each obstacle course. Because we are in a pandemic we are required to wear masks while on the ground. Once you are up on the trees you do not have to wear one. They do have little cubbies that are not locked where you can set your stuff. They do also have little lockers with locks on them but I don't know that those are for the public. They may be however we used a cubbies.There is also a seating area when you walk off the patio. There is a seating area closer to the kids obstacle course as well. I called in to make reservations because I was a little confused on how it would work for us adults and our team versus our kiddo. The woman on the phone wasn't the friendliest nonetheless she was able to book our visit. My hooks on two different occasions had gotten stuck and they needed to help me swap them out the first time I was close enough to the ground where they were able to climb up a couple stairs and swap them out for me. The second time I was higher up and a girl had to climb over to me swap them out for me while I'm in the trees and then proceed. It was a little annoying because it did take a lot of time to swap them out but then also it took time from the allotted time that we paid for. Especially because it's pricy. This is totally great outdoor family fun! I love that the supervisors managers and team are all around the different areas because you feel comfortable enough to ask for help and or also get guidance. Fun experience but the courses need to be re-marked. One of the greens is harder than one of the yellows, and a young child( estimated @9 years old got stuck, had to be rescued via ladder.) 5 star for the course and adventure. Dropped it to a 3 because I was walked out and asked to return my firearm to the car (after 90 minutes on the course) and told the front door was clearly marked. Went back to look, nope. Joe seemed like part of the leadership team and he was nice enough to walk through with me to show me the signs. He walked me out the Fontenelle forest side (not the entrance to this place but they are connected) and there were no signs on those doors either. 3 no smoking signs. Lots of mask optional signs. One sign to teach me to wash my hands to avoid covid, but no signs to ask me to unholster my firearm and leave my liberty in my vehicle. I respect every businesses individual choice to remove liberty from their customers but please mark it so your staff and I don't have to have a negative interaction. Anyways, be prepared to be sore from all the work trying to not fall, even though you're extremely secure. Had a great time taking on the courses here. My husband and I wanted an afternoon away and we had gift certificates here. We've done the tree course in Ashland but this one was way better! You have two hours of free range on any course you'd like to take with variance in difficulties. There's a course for everyone: little ones to adults! Their safety protocols were amazing. My husband and I felt EXTREMELY safe and comfortable with the harness and hooks they have while you take on the courses. They do safety checks before you take on any course every time just in case something broke or is loosened during a previous course. They're taking COVID regulations very seriously here too which was great to see. Masks need to be worn when you're on the ground and interacting with employees. The gloves they provide are great and you need them to take on these obstacles. They provide hand sanitation before every obstacle course and interaction. The zip lines, ropes courses, and employees were so fun. We are definitely sore after taking on the hardest course but worth EVERY penny! read more
