First impression was not good upon seeing all the baked goods, which were mostly loaves, wrapped in plastic. It turns out the baked goods are brought in frozen and thawed as needed. We had our standard Americanos which were reasonably good and a slice of banana loaf and lemon blueberry loaf. The lemon blueberry loaf was ok considering it was not fresh, we were hungry so we ordered a second one, which turned out to be a mistake. The banana loaf and 2nd slice of lemon blueberry loaf were not great, I'd say they fall into the category of 'they make the coffee taste better but otherwise why eat them'. The condiment area had loose sugar in an open container that you take with a spoon, that i always find strange and not sanitary. Plastic water jug and glasses that seemed out of place in a west side cafe. There was also no chocolate, cinnamon or other coffee finishing touches. At least the service was polite and friendly and overall the establishment was a clean, bright cafe.

Tree Organic Coffee is located on West Broadway and Fir Street. It's bright, modern and clean coffee shop. I just finished lunch across the street and saw Tree Organic opened at the corner. As dessert lover, I definitely loved to check it out. We still so full from lunch but wanted get few pieces of cheesecake to go. Apparently, the portion of cheesecake way smaller than before. But, it still tasted good. The mocha cheesecake pretty rich and moist. The very berry cheesecake a bit firm but good.

Came here on their grand opening day and the wait was pretty crazy. Yes they advertise almost everywhere. Waited 45 mins for the half price cheese cake. I got the mocha cheesecake. Regular price $7 and on grand opening day $3.50. The cheesecake was very delicious. It has a very strong mocha taste to it. I also tried the walnut cheese cake and blueberry cheesecake. The walnut one was delicious. Good walnut flavor. The blueberry flavor was not bad. Only thing was that if you got the part with no blueberry than it was like a regular cheesecake. Also on grand opening day they have the spin wheel game and I won 10% for life or as long as I don't loose the card deal. They also have pen and mug as prizes there. Seating is limited but they have a super long table that can accommodate quite a bit of people. If you want privacy. There are tables for two people or 4 people on the other side of the cafe. Overall, I like this place and yes their cheesecake.

after happy hour close by wife wanted to sample the cheesecake at this place. they claim to the best in vancouver, so hey...lets to them to the test! we ordered the most basic flavour of all...good ole fashioned new york cheese cake! if they cant get this right or impress us, then no point going back for the rest. the cheese cake tasted light and not too heavy and sweet! the crust was not too hard or grainy either. honestly, nothing to be impressed about. its about average. ive had better ones thats for sure. for the price of $7.5 /slice...hmmm a bit pricey and not worth a repeat! nice decors and interior restaurant though. will try the coffee next time if in area. cheers! happy eating!

Woke up this morning, with a craving for something sweet. So here i am at Trees organics coffee, which my cake connoisseur recommended me. Having a huge sign on the window stating that it was the "Best cheescake in Vancouver" i had no other choice but to try their cheescake. Ended up ordering both the blueberry and NY cheescake. Althouth the appearence of the cakes were rather rough there werent many lumps, and the taste was on point. The texture were smooth, just real smooth. Upon entering the mouth, the cake would just slowly melt in your mouth while seamlessly caressing your taste buds. Perfect spot to drop by for tea time or a quick slice of cake. Must eat!!

    "Mocha" with expired milk

Worse service ever Pairs for a Mochaccino got a drip coffee instead Went back got screamed at They try to make me pay for it again Then got a coffee with bad milk Ended up curling with no chocolate in it They created a drip coffee with expired milk

A-okay cake with sour cherry and dark chocolate

Nice variety of baked treats and coffee. Lots of seating space and light. The cheesecake is pricey at 7.50 and pretty good, but "best in Vancouver" is a long stretch. I had the one they call sin cake with cherry and dark chocolate, and I did not feel sinful eating it!

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

And also the more modern cold desserts such as mango, ube sago and even grass jellies. We opt to order their ube trio and it was heavenly. It had an authentic and strong ube taste. The sagos were cooked just right with the perfect texture and most importantly, it wasn't too sweet. We also ordered their instagram worthy mahjong tiles which is essentially red bean and coconut pudding. It's very cute and definitely instagram worthy. It's not too sweet and I liked that it came with a side of red bean sauce which made it less dry. The money is also made of edible paper but we didn't touch it cuz it felt weird eating it. However, it wasn't anything special and we wouldn't order it again. It was quite busy when we arrived on a Friday night but it's much easier to go in a smaller party. We were a party of 2 and walked right in even though others were waiting because they needed a bigger table. The place is clean and service was fast. They don't have a time limit even though they are busy so it's a great hang out spot. We would definitely be back to try out other items they have to offer.

I'm from the Bay Area and we have our fair share of Japanese grocery stores (shout out to Niiya in Japantown in San Francisco) but I was very excited to see the selection here. They even had Japanese canned drinks stored hot like in Japan! The take away Japanese desserts also looked good. This place is right on Robson street so a great place to grab a snack, drink, pick me up while shopping. Prices seemed reasonable. One caveat is that it can get busy in here and the aisles are small so it felt a little crowded but that's sort of like Japan as well lol so not a big deal for me. Added to the ambience.
