We tried this place for curbside order on a whim, and oh my goodness-it was amazing! I had the U burger and I truly believe someone's Nana must be in the back grilling these burgers using her top secret recipe! The fried green tomatoes and fries were both great too! The restaurant is adorable and the staff is very kind and polite. We sat in our car and rolled the windows down to enjoy the patio music. Awesome spot. The food is spectacular and fresh. You have to try the Tipsy Chick and Garlic Parmesan fries!!! Also had a few tacos, the steak is so tender, the sauces are divine. Came in with my friend for lunch, it was a first time for both of us. We were greeted by JB at the entrance. He was very helpful and went through the menu with us. Trend is still my favorite spot in the neighborhood. When it first opened I was going at least once a week. But due to covid, I try to go at least once a month. The tipsy chicken sandwich, the bourbon collard greens and the oriental salad are my favorites. And don't sleep on the salmon specials. One day I had salmon over a cauliflower rice sweet potato kale hash. It was so good! I didn't think the combination would work but i was gladly mistaken. So....I have to update my rating from a few months back. Decided to enjoy a summer evening here with ordering food and a drink on the patio at sunset. Who would have known when I place my order at 7:35 I would have to wait until 8:50pm before i would be eating? Then a get my food and the serving size so small I could not believe it. Asked a server was this the normal size and she replied yes. I an still in shock for $13 I received a 1/2 a piece of salmon and overcooked cabbage. The food tastes really good however the portion size was childlike to say the least. Not to mention the time it took to get my food. The reasoning...the system went down and my order was apart of the orders not printed. Never updated me, nor offered to compensate me with adsl food or dessert. Nothing. Cant say I'll be back. I'm a sucker for flavor, so I did douse my sammy with hot sauce and MORE tartar sauce. The order in itself did take a good 15-20 minutes to prepare which left me extremely antsy. I did think that they forgot my order at one point. It was well worth the wait. I also got their homemade lemonade. A little too sweet IMO but still pretty darn good. I'll definitely be back to try out their other entrees, especially the side of sweet potato fries.
