Well it was Trendy... We were greeted nicely and it was busy. I ordered a U Burger it was 9.69 plus 3.79 for fries and drink plus another dollar for sweet fries. That is $14.48 !!!! .For a burger with lettuce and tomato and fries...Crazy! The lettuce was shreaded.. Tomato 1 slice very thin and not a nice tomato..My meat was in 3 pierces..WTH.. Plus I paid $4.79 to make it a meal when I had asked for water and only had water. Burger tasted strange....not like what I expected. Now to my wife-- She got the Tipsy Chick sandwich combo for $12.18.. It had 2 slabs of breaded chicken one was white meat the other was dark. The dark was loaded with fat. Wow, food was SO GOOD!! This place puts many places in the heart of the city to shame! Very well seasoned and healthy too. I had the parmesan salmon which came with zucchini noodles with onions and mushrooms, it was SO FLAVORFUL and delicious. The fried green tomatoes were also on point and maintained their crunch even after the ride home. My hubby got the ceasar chicken wrap with the garlic fries, he usually doesn't eat all his food but he DOGGED it. He also got the vegan key lime pie and he dogged that too and halfway through eating it he double checked the label to see if it really was vegan because it was so good (hard to get him to eat healthy, let alone vegan). The cake was so moist and flavorful, better than regular cake. SO glad to have this option in Stone Mountain. I liked the look from the outside so I definitely wanted to go in. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very clean. I had the Trendy Mess Burger and it was good! Some people may believe it's too expensive for a burger but to me the price is average. I'm just glad I do not have to travel into the city for a nice tasting vegan burger. I believe this will be the one restaurant that actually does well and stays open at this location. I love this place!! I've ordered maybe 7 times in the past 2 months through uberEats and just wanted to support local businesses. Their trendy mess burger is BOMB and I could eat it everyday. Recently started getting the teriyaki ginger salad with blackened tofu and it's definitely my new fave. I like the cilantro garlic fries, fried green tomatoes, and the bourbon collard greens as well (even though I wish they were a bit more spicy LOL), I've yet to find anything I haven't liked. Both the food and service have been impeccable each and every time...which has been at least 10 times. Customers are warmly greeted and employees are ready to answer any questions and I've suggestions. The menu ranges from burgers and fries--which are well worth the splurge in your diet to soup and salad. Everything is made fresh and is delicious! Trends also has the BEST WINGS IN ATLANTA hands down. I've never seen a restaurant serve wings this meaty. Plus they are seasoned, sauced and cooked to perfection. Each time I am impressed with the service. The workers are always busy with tasks, but also aware of what is going to and ready to stop prep tasks to help customers. Even the chef welcomes and thanks you when you arrive and leave. The service is better than at 4 and 5 fine dining restaurants. If you live in the area you need to make this a regular spot. I had Trend Urban Café cater my graduation party. It was amazing. Kathia is a great organizer and her and Chef Wic were very flexible with the alternations I requested just the day before the event. Additionally, I placed my order just five days before the event and all the items were available, however my party was small (15 people). The mango salsa is great, in addition to the cauliflower wings & tofu/blackened tilapia/salmon tacos. The watermelon salad was also wonderful! Everyone had a taste of it, and there were no complaints overall from any of my guests. Please give Urban Trend Café a chance! Wow!! I love this place. Anyone from around here knows that there aren't a ton of unique, local options- especially as a vegan and/or vegetarian. This place knocks it out of the park! Fries are next level. So crispy! I also recommend eating off of the specials board. They have massive, juicy vegan wings (I've been searching for vegan wings!!!!!), portobello tacos, and... CALI NUGS!!! Do yourself a favor and get Cali nugs when they're available. Those little nuggets are INSANE... probably one of the best things I've ever eaten!
