Recently ordered lunch for work team. Ordered a variety of chicken wings, bourbon collard greens,Mac and cheese and salad. The food was ready at 11 am as requested. The chef added a sampling of cauliflower nuggets that were AMAZING! Everything was hot and delicious and the salads are fresh and so good. They add pickled onions and kale chips they make fresh. Terrible service. Staff had attitudes from the moment we walked in. Everyone was too busy running their mouth instead of taking care of customers. Food was prepared sloppily and did not live up to the prior reviews. It's unfortunate because it would be nice to have a place in the area that was good and keeps customers coming back. My son & I decided to try Trend Urban Cafe on Saturday. I wanted to try a new place & that was it. I easily placed my order online & selected the curbside option. They kept me abreast of my order via text message. When I arrived, I waited in my car for a moment but didn't see any signage for curbside service, so I just walked in. I was greeted warmly by two women at the counter who I provided my name to. They quickly verified my order & gave it to me & my son & I were on our way. I ordered the grilled salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries & my son had the chicken tenders with seasoned fries. It was all so delicious! I always get the impossible burger and a side salad with ginger and balsamic dressing mixes. The ambiance is amazing and they have music nights . Plus a mimosa break for a mom of six is always a reason to visit for me. It's my personal little getaway when I want to woosah . Sooooo yummy! Everything my family tried was delicious (I had to have a nibble of everyone's, of course!)

First sit down meal with the whole family since Covid started and I'm so glad we chose this place for it to be. Employees were all welcoming and eager to help. Bathrooms and restaurant were clean, beautiful outdoor sitting area. But the best part was the food! Everyone around the table was passing around their food since everyone wanted to try it all. My 9 y/o (slightly picky) son LOVED the jerk chicken street tacos, my 6 y/o loved her Mr Fishy. The fries were great! My 14y/o had a massive BBQ Bacon burger that he immediately swallowed so it must have been great! Don't forget to grab some of their lemonade also! Their caramel macchiato tasted great and helped give me enough energy to get home before my food comma kicked in. I do wish I didn't eat so much so I could have tried one of their delicious cakes. I have eaten at Trend several times before the pandemic started and it was always fabulous. Today I took my husband to eat there and it was so disappointing. We both had the portobello sandwiches with fries. The mushrooms were not cooked enough and the sandwich was tasteless. The sweet potato fries were not even warm. His regular fries were better. Also the whole ordering from our phones was a struggle because we are "old" and there was no way of knowing what the specials were. read more

Best of all the food tasty and staff attentive. My party of three were pleased with our different meals and the overall experience. Location and parking were easy and I felt safe. Fried chicken sandwich is very good but bread could be upgraded to contain the sandwich better. Also tried the steak hoagie which is good but can be messy.
