I live next door by the one fortunate turn I've had the entire 4+ miserable years I've survived in this Dickensian dystopian hellscape. Finally found my go to stylist located right next to downtown Manchester! A gorgeous space with a nice view and plenty of free parking. Stephanie Wright did my cut, foil and color and totally brought my hair back to life! I got so many compliments. Stephanie did an amazing job with my color! I wasn't even charged Extra. The prices are very reasonable compared to other salons in Manchester. The shop was nice and The staff all seemed happy and friendly. Just got a pedicure from this place. The lady I got the pedicure did an amazing job I have to say. Unfortunately she works at a place with very poor customer service. I got the groupon for a manicure and pedicure shellac, I only got the pedicure. The owner would not allow me to come back for a manicure shellac. So they got more money then what the service actually was. Feel cheated and will not be back. Just go to the mall and don't support this business they are not very nice. read more

Had a Couptopia coupon for a cut, color or highlights, and a brow wax. I had never been to the salon before, but I knew it was located near the Currier Gallery of Art. The building is beautiful with a small parking lot on the side, which is super convenient and avoids on-street parking (esp. since some snow banks are still hanging around). I was cordially greeted by Stephanie, who immediately got to work asking me what I wanted, what highlights, etc. She did an awesome job and I will be back again for more hair appointments. read more

If you are looking for a nail salon, never EVER go here. I was trying to find a new nail salon closer to home, and I can remember a coworker used to rave about this place. However, it has been a couple of years since I worked with her so the place and people have likely changed a bit. The girl who did my nails either was a student or had very little experience in doing nails. Her acrylic application was far too wet so that she wasn't able to place the product well. I ended up with acrylic on my cuticles and skin. In addition, each nail length was different. So if you put each pair of fingers next to one another (thumbs, index fingers, etc.) you'd find they were anywhere from 1/4 - 3/8" different in length. She filed into my sidewalls, making a few nails look like daggers by the end of the nail. All in all it was a disaster. In addition while I was getting these nails done I watched someone wax a customer's eyebrows over a sink with poor lighting. Save your money and go somewhere else. While the prices are affordable, you'll spend more like I did when you have to go somewhere else to fix what they do wrong. read more

This salon is located in an older house in a downtown neighborhood. It was nice to see off street parking, and even nicer to walk inside! The interior has been beautifully updated. Modern salon fixtures blend seamlessly with lots of old-house character that clearly reflects the labor-of-love undertaken by the owners for this renovation. You never know how a Groupon will be received. Lisa, the owner took it graciously, and attended to my cut and color herself. The salon was busy when I arrived, even though it was the middle of a holiday weekend. I sensed a warm vibe, with competent stylists and happy customers. Bought a Groupon for a mani/pedi which required an appointment. Called a week in advance and they didn't have any time the weekday evening I asked for. The customer service was adequate but not great. I cancelled my Groupon and probably won't try making another appointment. Maybe they're just too busy, but I thought a week's advance notice would be fine. I'll try to find a closer salon with more availability. read more

The hair dresser I had yesterday evening left hair dye all over my forehead. I could of colored my own hair way better. I couldn't even go out after I had to go home and scrub my forehead it looked like someone colored my hair with their eyes closed that's how bad it was. I have gone before an the person I had before was great. I made a mistake given the lady a tip shouldn't of with how much was on my forehead. Won't be back to this place again, one bad experience ruins a place for me. read more

I have been going here for 20 years and my mom has gotten he hair colored here for 25 years. We make the treck up here from Southern NH, just to have out hair colored. The prices are fantastic, and the the coloring is exceptional. I'm sad that I can't come to get my hair done here when I'm off at college, but I always get it done on my breaks its that good. This is the best please ever and Lisa is pure genius!! After being quoted over $150.00 to get my hair color and highlighted I went to see Lisa- she did a beautiful job on my hair for 1/2 the price $70!! Do not come here to get your nails done. I recently had my nails done here by Bri and they looked terrible. I thought it looked fine from far away but when I took a closer look it looked horrible. I went home and had to remove the nail polish and do it myself over again. read more
