Impressive, where do I start?! We absolutely love it here! My daughter is currently a part of the Artistic Team, and our journey with Trevino's began in June 2021. She started as Level 7 and is currently Level 9. The coaches (Coach Katelyn, Coach Kiara, Coach Sydnay, Coach Rich) leading the artistic team are exceptional, guiding the girls to new heights. Their focus on the mental mindset is pivotal in shaping competitive gymnasts. We consider ourselves truly fortunate to have Coach Katelyn on board, not only as a gymnastics coach but also as a life coach and mental health counselor. Adding to her wealth of experience, she is a former NCAA Gymnast, providing invaluable firsthand knowledge on what judges are looking for and more. Additionally, Coach Jesse brings his expertise in tumbling, offering valuable assistance to the team girls in that specific area of gymnastics. Our coaching team is well-rounded and brings a wealth of knowledge to enhance the girls' skills and overall well-being. Beyond the outstanding coaching, the parents at the gym are friendly and supportive. The owners, Rich and Marilyn, are incredibly welcoming and have hearts of gold. My daughter has been attending the Trevinos development team classes for T&T for a while now. Since the beginning from obtaining information about the classes to the enrollment it has been such a smooth process not only did Mrs.Marilyn answer all of our questions but she was able to give us even more details about joining Trevinos gymnastics which to us is always a plus! From my daughters first class till now we have seen her grow and blossom in all that they have been teaching and helping her master. The coaches Ms.Lynn Mr.Richard & Mr.Jesse are so supportive and kind in the way they teach and help flourish these children's minds about gymnastics! This will be our first year in competition and we are excited to see all the amazing work that these coaches have dedicated there time with our daughter! If my child could she would be up at the gym EVERYDAY! Which to me says a lot because that just means she definitely feels at home here!! My Daughter has been attending and competing at Trevino's for 3 seasons now and let me tell you, I'm so glad to be apart of team Treviño's! she's a level 8 and is trained under Coach and gym owner Rich Trevino, Katelyn Trevino, and Kiara Smartt. we are so blessed to be at a gym where they put the athletes first. caring for our athletes is top priority. from the training, to competing they have our gymnast's best interest. Coach Katelyn is very motivated and truly is a dedicated coach and we are blessed to have her. My granddaughter started 3 years ago and we absolutely love this place. Great staff, clean environment and awesome coaches that love and have so much patience for ALL the kids that attend. This is the first gym I have ever been to where there is such a sense of family, community and inclusion. I have always felt that the staff has always been so helpful, caring and loving and pushes you to do your best. These coaches uplifts these kids and always tries to boost their confidence. My granddaughter within 6-7 months was already doing back hand springs at age 6 years old.. This was only because these coaches uplifts and boost these kids and the kids have confidence in these coaches as well. This facility has always made it a family environment for everyone that walks in those doors. I will never take my granddaughter anywhere else but this facility. We have been with Trevino's for about 3 years. My daughter started on the developmental team with Coach Chito, which she did for 2 years (by our choice). She is now on the competitive team and excelling. The coaches are all respectful to her and us as parents. With Coach Katelyn leading the team, I also have peace of mind about the mental health aspect of such a competitive sport. I know that my daughter will be supported positively and encouraged to be her best without being so hard on herself. Sports should teach our children about a lot more than the sport itself. Trevinos has already taught my daughter about working hard, physical and mental strength, accepting feedback, having a growth mindset, knowing that perfection is not attainable, etc. I'm proud for my daughter to be a part of Trevinos Gymnastics and look forward to the growth she will continue to achieve. read more

I was terribly surprised by some of the reviews I read because they are polar opposite of any experience I've ever had since my daughter has been attending Trevino's over the past three years. Not only is the staff professional and friendly but they're like family. I signed my daughter up for a "Cheer Camp" this past Saturday but because of a unknown cheer competition she was the only one in attendance. To my surprise instead of cancelling the class she received a personal/private lesson from 2 coaches for 2 1/2 hrs! It was beyond my expectations, true exceptional customer service! I don't know of any other gym that would have done that. So its clear they care about their students and it was definitely not about money. We have been at this gym since 2017. My daughter started in rec classes then moved up to developmental team and is now a member of the tumbling and trampoline team. We have had a great experience since day 1. Every coach we have had has been knowledgeable and truly cares about the kids. At one point we thought of moving but what stopped us was the thought of leaving this gym. I wouldn't want my daughter at another gym. She is cared for and has great coaches who are helping her achieve her best. Trevinos has a great reputation and when we moved from ft worth to Desoto I asked our previous gym where we should put our daughter and without hesitation she said you need to go to trevinos. My daughter has been at this gym since 2021. We started in the recreational program, advanced to the developmental team and now she is apart of the Excel team. One thing I loved is that the gym hosted in-house meets to acclimate the new girls (and parents) to competition. We attended our first TAAF competition this month hosted by Trevinos and we were very pleased. The completion started timely and ran very smoothly. Overall, I am pleased with all of my daughter's interactions with the coaches and staff. They are constantly giving my daughter positive affirmations to help build her confidence and self esteem! Our granddaughter started training at Trevino's several months ago and has made the most progress of any program she has attended ! All the coaches--including Katelyn, Kiera, and Sydney--are very positive and motivational. They do an excellent job of demonstrating the specific techniques required for each of the four performance categories as well as insure every gymnast is doing them accurately. We recently made a switch to Trevinos with my daughter. She had been on team at a different gym for many years. While we loved our coaches there, she was not making the progress that I wanted her to see for the work that she was putting in. We could not be happier with the switch. My daughter is 2 and she has already learned so much! The coaches are kind, fun, encouraging, and patient with the young class. We have been going to Trevino's for several months now and my daughter has already gotten stronger and is moving up to more advanced skills for her age. Trevinos is the best gym around. This gym caters to the public. They have Open Gym on Friday nights, All level gymnastics, competitions, and the best staff around. My daughter, Hailey, Division 1 gymnast at The University of Kentucky trained at this gym for many, many years. I never doubted Trevinos integrity one bit. They are first class in my opinion. We started coming to Trevino's when my daughter was 2 years old, she's 8 now and we love it here ever since, coaches are amazing and they are teaching these kids/teens everything a gymnast should know, from skill sets to disciplinary training! Trevino's is a GREAT place my kids have just started going about 3 months ago and they absolutely love it!! This is a large facility and what I'd expect of a gymnasium. No, it's not perfect but what is. It's always clean, organized, quality top equipment.
