Margherita with add-on pepperoni and banana peppers.
Kathleen L.

The pizza we ordered was phenomenal. We settled on the margarita and added pepperoni and banana peppers. The crust was crispy, tasty, perfectly baked and the toppings were very good. I wanted the white pizza with sausage and red sauce on the pie. The order taker repeated 3-4x that it has garlic paste on it and some people don't like it. I tried to say that we're from a very ethnic background and would probably like it. She cut me off by saying 'just telling you'. Scared my guy away from ordering what we wanted. This in itself tempted me to rate a 2 star. The meatballs with ricotta was sooooo tempting too. I want to to be fair and not penalize a company about their food rating, hence 4 stars. The attitude of the order taker embarrassed me and most certainly deserves less than a 2 star rating.

The pizza is good but a little expensive for the size. My girlfriend and I shared a Rick's White while hanging out at Grove Roots Brewing in Winter Haven. The pizza hit the spot after a flight of beers.

I've been coming to this food truck since before I ever started yelping. This is one of my top food trucks of all time and some of the best pizza I've ever had. Always glad to see you come around the north Tampa area into Wesley Chapel. Was able to have the truck after a year or 2 since moving up into Wesley Chapel and it was as good as I remember. Everything about the pizza is sublime, from the cheesey pull from slice to Slice down to the slight char on the magnificent crust. Will always recommend this truck to anyone and everyone that loves pizza

Delicious. Pizza. Can I just end the review there?? Or do I need to write about the delicious crust from a wood-fire oven, the white pizza(wow!) or the fast & friendly service?? Found the truck near my neck of the woods so I had to take the family - and everyone LOVED it!!

As I enjoy pizza in any incarnation, I was excited to see @engine53pizza would be at Six Ten Brewing's 2nd Anniversary yesterday. And even though we'd already ordered from the other food truck, we had to try Engine 53 also. The side of their truck is see-through, so piles of wood were visible at one end, along with the oven and the prep area - very cool to watch. We chose a pepperoni pie, and we were not disappointed! Piping hot, with fresh, gooey mozzarella - this was a beautiful pizza! I love the crisp, toastiness of the dough... Not thick nor doughy (& not soggy), but NOT a thin cracker, either. The pepperoni had a great flavor, but not overpowering, and the sauce was also just as perfectly unassuming. Overall, this was an awesome pizza & I will definitely look for them at other events around Tampa Bay.

White pizza - garlic infused evoo, mozzarella and basil. Yummy!

Yum, yum, yum! Nothing like fresh ingredients, great flavors, and real wood fire to make a delicious pizza. I was excited to see that Engine 53 was visiting our monthly work food trucks. The pizza was very tasty. The side of the truck is glass so you can see the pizza being made. The pizza might take a little longer, but you are getting a solid pie with fresh ingredients from a wood fire. The dessert calzone was just delicious. Be sure to check them out next time you see them around town.

Delish! Had the meat lovers pizza. Took maybe 5 min or so. The sauce is kinda sweet but not a big problem.

Calzone!!!

Pizza was disgusting. They wouldn't add cheese to it. Tried to make it seem like it was a big deal to add cheese to it and stick it back in.

Fantastic pizza! Husband and I ordered an extra cheese variety at Cigar City and were impressed with the cheesiness and quality!

Easily the best pizza I've had in the Tampa Bay Area. We had the Ricks white and a Margarita with a side of meatballs.

Why 4 stars? Because I love all sugar ice, and this is a unique place to get it!…read more --- --- --- I have always loved all types of sno-cones since I was a kid, and that lovin' feeling has yet to fade. When we saw Lolo Ono during our staycation at Clearwater Beach, I knew I wouldn't turn down the chance to inhale frozen sugar... it just goes down too easy. Lolo Ono offers Hawaiian sweet with each serving, which makes an already pleasurable experience even better! They also offer red beans, which I would definitely like to try out next time. There are tons of flavors, and luckily for me and my unlucky organs stuck with sugar digestion, Lolo Ono is usually located pretty far away from me. But if it were closer, I would probably be tempted to ingest about one per day.

Had my own snow cone machine growing up. Turned a crank to crush the ice and poured over some…read moreflavored, colored syrup that typically drained straight through the ice to settle at the bottom of the container into a slushy substance. Hawaiian Shave Ice is like the Cadillac of those sad snow cones. It begins with a base of vanilla bean ice cream, that is covered with fluffy ice and then topped with a selection, or two or three, of the flavored syrups available (Note: no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners used). And, even sweeter than this treat, is the fact that each order is served in an eco-friendly container. This was just the right balance for consumption on a sweltering summer day. Crisply cold, neatly sweet and not too rich or heavy make this an ideal indulgence. The ice stayed frozen and the ice cream thawed just enough to reach a pleasant, soft creaminess. The $5 price seems just right for the serving and the amount of satisfaction rendered.
