    Clam chowder

The Dublin Dip is what I order regularly. Along with their clam chowder. These 2 are my faves! Service is always wonderful with the female bar staff. It's a sports bar so always bustling and busy, be it football, basketball or ufc. Great bar food and brunch with a laid back and relaxing patio for great sunny days to chill..

Great local bar with a top notch tv situation! Cold beers. Good service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Chips and salsa were delicious with light tortilla chips and house made salsa. A few too many flies swarming us since the doors were open but that's to be expected.

Stopped along the bike path to have a great breakfast quesadilla and some simple chicken strips and chips. Served with vinegar on the table for those traditional chips (aka fries). Perfect patio to sit in the sun or catch some shade with plenty of televisions to catch your favorite game. More food than I could finish. I just wish I had a bigger appetite because the food was great for what I was expecting. Would definitely recommend.

Came into RT O'Sullivans tonight with my mom and her boyfriend and his friends. I arrived second to last and the service here was pretty good. Our server was unaware which beers they had were the strongest, but he came back and got me right with a Stone IPA. I've been here several times before, never once has RT O's failed me. They've always got good solid bar food to offer and now they've got some competition next door with Dodo Bird, but RT O's still holds its own. They've got this cool looking door if you go through the front entrance, unique to this restaurant and I have not seen anything like it elsewhere. They've got their whole back patio decked out with an array of TVs that go all the way around and every one of 'em has a game on, so in terms of sports bars in Scottsdale, this is the place to be to have some tasty bar food and grab some draft beers with friends. Last time I was here with my girlfriend, she had gotten the O'Connell burger which is a burger with American cheese and bacon, and she liked it. I had the Shannon burger last time which comes with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. Pretty solid options here across the board, nothing out of the ordinary in terms of bar food but it sets the bar, so to speak. The wings are decent, as are their tacos which I think they've got deals on certain days of the week if I remember correctly. Tonight I tried the fajita wrap with grilled chicken and a side of waffle fries, which I had to wait a little while for it to come out (I hadn't eaten much today so I was a bit antsy/hangry) but it was worth the wait. The fajita wrap was nice and warm and delicious, and the waffle fries came out a bit less warm, which to my surprise they brought us out some hotter ones which was commendable of them. I can appreciate their care for their customers. The overall vibes tonight were on point, I came hungry and I left full and happy, the food portion sizes were certainly filling. This is always a good option for affordable food and drinks that don't break the bank and are well worth the visit if you're in the area.

GREAT SERVICE! There are always specials going on , with trivia and paint nights! They're open for all major sporting events and have a wide variety at the bar. They have a lunch menu on the weekdays from open till 2 pm. TVs are everywhere, very large and comfortable outdoor patio. Typical bar vibe but can be family friendly. They have volleyball courts and seasonal leagues. The menu's huge everything's good.

At one point I asked for change for pool and a water. The water showed up, the change never did. Not a huge amount of money, but little things like that leave an impression. A few of the bartenders have a certain je ne sais quoi.... unfortunately not the warm, welcoming kind. There's a level of attitude that just doesn't match my personal experiences or memories of this place. The crowd has changed too. Different energy, different vibe, and maybe just not one I blend with anymore. Suppose I've grown up and maybe it's time to move on. It's a shame because this place was genuinely a staple for me and earned those five stars once upon a time. Back then, it was the staff and the atmosphere that made it. Of the latest visits, the only person who carried that same familiar energy was Derek. He wasn't even behind the bar, but as always, it was a pleasure seeing him. Not the five-star spot for me that it once was, but maybe it's just become a place for the next generation.

We ordered some apps and cocktails. Great prices for drinks ans food and we were full!! The dishes are super tasty and filling. Cocktails on point and so was the service. The second time I came with a friend and we shared the Fried Chicken Sandwich after I saw the reel they posted on Instagram. That thing was juicy and a great size. I don't normally do chicken, but this burg was worth it!! I'm glad we shared it because there is no way I could have eaten it by myself, lol. It's dimly lit for a romantic vibe, but it's a casual dress code. The bar upstairs is great for Happy Hour, but be warned it's really dark in there. We had no complaints about the service, pricing or food options. One of the managers came around and spoke with us as we dined, which I thought was nice of him. He thanked us for coming in. We will be coming back again soon!

We did try items not on happy hour as well such as the Filet Mignon, Chicken Francese as well as the Smash burger (that last one only on HH) and all of which were just ok. Their meats were cooked to tempt, but somehow just end up tasting burnt and dry on the outside which was unappetizing. If you want real tender, juicy meats all around I would suggest going to Brassiere Melrose on 7th Ave and Camelback. Their filet was too die for and I haven't found another yet that can beat theirs at Brassiere Melrose. We will be back for Society Swans other goodies tho! We enjoyed their sangria and their petite martinis and their atmosphere. Oh and we also tried their Tuesdays Tastings menu which was a 3 course menu for $55. They do give you an option to pair it with a wine or cocktail however that it not including in the $55 price. But was definitely a fun option to try more of their menu!

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. Food was 10/10.

Unfortunately, my experiences with Jackie have repeatedly left a bitter taste in my mouth, and my most recent experience was the final straw. A very close friend and I recently came in, sat down, and were greeted very rudely by Jackie. She abruptly told us that there was an inspector in the restaurant and that Duke's is a 21+ establishment. She then told us that it would be "fine this time," but that in the future I would need to have an adult with me. For context, I am 18 years old, and neither my friend nor I were ordering alcohol. We simply came in hoping to enjoy some good food. I have been coming to Duke's for a long time, and age has never been an issue during any of my previous visits. I have never been told that I could not dine there because of my age, which made this interaction especially confusing and frustrating. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, from what I could see, there was no clear signage at the restaurant informing us of a 21+ age restriction, nor could I find any clear indication of an age requirement on the restaurant's website. If this is in fact a strict 21+ policy, I believe that information should be clearly communicated to customers before they arrive. Regardless of the restaurant's age policy, there was absolutely no reason for us to be spoken to in such a dismissive and condescending manner. A policy can be explained respectfully, and this interaction did not feel respectful. My friend and I were both so uncomfortable and frustrated by the interaction that we ultimately decided to leave without ordering. It is disappointing that after years of coming to Duke's and consistently having positive experiences, one server's repeated behavior has now made me question whether I want to return. I am leaving this review because I believe management should be aware of how customers are being treated. I have no issue with being informed of a restaurant's age policy, but there is a significant difference between respectfully explaining a policy and making customers feel unwelcome or as though they have done something wrong. I genuinely enjoy Duke's and have had many great experiences there, which is why this situation is especially disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, both regarding the way customers are being treated and the need to clearly communicate any age restrictions to customers.
