This is something we have ordered frequently in your establishment, most recently on March 8th, 2026. Every time we have purchased this, the Wycliff bottles have been $25. This means that we should receive 2 bottles for $25.01 based on the special listed on your menu. When we received the check, we were charged $50.01 for the 2 bottles. We pointed out the mistake to the bar tender who said the price was correct. We informed her that we have come here approximately once/month for the last year and the cost has never been $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She asked another employee to come over and we explained the same issue to her. She (we did not get her name) said she has been a Manager there for several years and that has always been the price. I told her we have ordered this special over the last year and we would never pay $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She refused to adjust our check. I asked her to show me on a menu where a bottle of Wycliff costs $50. Of course, she was not able to do that because it doesn't exist. We generally are very generous with our tip, as we consider this a good deal and the staff is usually great. - I have attached a copy of the receipt. We could hardly hear each other talk over the music. Turns out there was a DJ we didn't notice when we walked into the bar. Now, the DJ's music playlist was great. However, it was so loud and played over all the games except they would pause during one of the games once in a while. I suspect they were trying to draw in a crowd but clearly that was not the way to do it when it's game day and people were obviously there to watch the games. We wanted to try something to eat off the menu but only stayed for a drink and left. It was just a miserable atmosphere with the loud music at 1pm in the afternoon. Lastly, we noticed the receipt had a "venue fee" charge. What is that and why? Why are we paying to sit at a bar? Just be aware of added fees charged to your ticket.

In an area of almost unlimited places to spend some time, why Social Tap? Here are a few of my reasons... Restaurants don't survive if you're not crushing it with food and service. In a part of town where most places don't last more than a few years, Social Tap has been doing it for over 10. Not only is the food good for "bar food," but they also bring lots of it. To wash it down, they have a legit beer menu. But what's good food if it's not served well? I've found the staff very welcoming. From the hostesses to the servers and bartenders to barbacks, they genuinely make Social Tap feel like a community. The staff is never too busy to make sure you're taken care of and to ask how you're doing. For those who like to watch their favorite out-of-town team, like me (Go Cubs Go!), they're very open to changing up the channels for you. It's a small thing and takes little effort, but it makes it feel like you're more than just a "local." Inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs, Social Tap (and the Balcony Bar up top) is a great place to watch some sports ball, chat with friendly staff, and unwind in Old Town Scottsdale. It's the ideal place to "hang out" from early afternoon until the crazy nightlife begins to take over. If you stop by and see someone sitting at the end of the bar when you walk in, hanging on every pitch when the Cubbies are on, that's probably me. Say, "Hey," and let's chat.

It's always appreciated when servers go above and beyond in providing a great experience. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. A few of the bartenders have a certain je ne sais quoi.... unfortunately not the warm, welcoming kind. There's a level of attitude that just doesn't match my personal experiences or memories of this place. The crowd has changed too. Different energy, different vibe, and maybe just not one I blend with anymore. Suppose I've grown up and maybe it's time to move on. It's a shame because this place was genuinely a staple for me and earned those five stars once upon a time. Back then, it was the staff and the atmosphere that made it.
