Tommy was very professional. Listed options on plumbing and went with unions vs hard gluing 2" PVC schedule 40 connections. So if pump were to have issues in future no more cutting pipes. Just loosened and swap in the new pump. Tommy worked digitally and had it in just under 2 hours and helped me set optimized pump program settings on mobile app. He painted the white PvC pipe so that the suns PVC don't harm the pipe. I would highly recommend Dynamic pools for installing bare pool pump. Price was fair and install was smooth without any hitches. 5 stars

I had been using Dynamic Pools for regular pool maintenance since September 2023 and had never…read moreexperienced any issues with the technician who serviced my pool. For over two and a half years, routine visits went smoothly and I was a satisfied customer. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner, Edward, when a problem occurred completely changed my opinion of the company. During a recent service visit, the technician used a hose to clean the pool filter. This same hose had been used during previous visits without any issues. However, when he went to turn the water on, the handle broke with light pressure. Edward later came to my home to try to fix the issue himself but was unable to repair it. At that point he suggested that I either call a plumber or use his handyman. His handyman also told me that the repair cost would be covered. Because the water to my house had to be shut off for the entire day, I needed the problem resolved as soon as possible. A plumbing company was able to come sooner than the handyman, so I had them complete the repair. The total cost ended up being about $500. When I sent the invoice to Edward, his response was immediately defensive. He stated that he was not going to pay for the repair and began bringing up unrelated examples instead of addressing what had actually happened. In an effort to resolve the situation fairly, I even offered to split the repair cost with him, but he refused that as well. Edward repeatedly claimed the handle broke because it was plastic and "bound to break eventually." However, this same hose had been used during past service visits without issue, and I had never been told that the part was fragile or at risk of breaking. If a component used during routine service is known to be fragile or near failure, that would be important information to communicate to a homeowner before it breaks during service. Mistakes can happen in any service industry. What matters is how they are handled. Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, the situation was dismissed and no responsibility was taken. After being a loyal customer since September 2023, it was disappointing to see how quickly the tone changed when a problem occurred. When you hire a professional service company, you expect them to stand behind their work if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Situations like this are important for homeowners to be aware of, because they show how issues may be handled if something goes wrong during a service visit. Because of how this situation was handled, I will be finding a different pool service moving forward.

I used Flawless for three years. They were more or less fine, though several times they didn't put…read morethe pool filter lid on properly, or didn't show up at all but claimed they had (then why was the filter basket full?). Their service is fine, but their professionalism is where they fall apart--they don't have any. But the kicker came today, when Mike called me. Now, I've moved out of the house and turned the account over to my ex-wife. Within 30 seconds of my answering the phone, Mike said, and I quote, "I think she's batsh*t insane or something." I immediately told him to f*ck off and hung up--we may be divorced, but that level of misogynistic BS is inappropriate even if I didn't still call her a friend. And he should have never called me in the first place--he knew I'd moved out and have nothing to do with the house anymore. Further, he claimed to her that he had told me "many times" that the filters needed replacing because "you have to replace them every three years." I last replaced them in May of 2022. From May 2025 to November 2025 he never said anything about it. ETA: interesting that Dave is worried about my review but only addresses the least important part. Also notice his scare quotes, denoting insulting attitude. What about the fact your men didn't properly lock the filter lid on on several different service dates? What about your employee's incredibly unprofessional phone call? And for the record, I'm not saying you missed a lot of days, but suction pressure isn't filling a filter basket to the brim. Pull the other one. You have mostly good reviews. You can handle a few bad ones, and until you admit to your employee's unprofessional behavior, I'm leaving this here.

Capital Lawn & Pool has been such a great find for us. When we were looking for someone who…read moreactually knew how to maintain a saltwater hot tub and an above-ground pool, it was surprisingly hard to find -- and they knew exactly what they were doing. One thing I really appreciate is their communication. They text about 30 minutes before arriving, and we usually get the same technician, which I love because he already knows our setup. When they finish, the pool water always looks crystal clear -- that satisfying "sparkling blue" moment when you walk outside. They're also very organized. After each visit they send a report with a photo of the pool and detailed notes on the chemicals and everything they checked, which I really appreciate. One thing to know: they won't remove items from the pool unless you specifically ask. My daughter once left some pool toys in there and I assumed they might grab them, but the technician explained they leave anything in the pool alone in case the homeowner placed it there intentionally. Totally understandable -- just something to be aware of. The owners are very responsive as well. We had an issue once and they actually came out themselves to help resolve it quickly. They're consistently on time, and the one time our tech was sick he texted to let me know he'd be out the next day. Helpful tip: if you want anything removed from the pool (toys, floats, etc.), just let them know ahead of time.
